COVE CITY: VOLUME I
Welcome back to Toussaint. Seven to Da Cove rules over Parkside Cove and Lake Hill. Now that the aftermath of the Princes and the Kings has settled, the world they thought would simmer down is still boiling now that the Zoo has arrived.
Egos are running high when Pierre learns that his ex, Sasha (Freckles), and her newfound love, Zeus, are in the same town. While Pierre believes he’s going to reclaim what he feels is his, he runs into a brick wall. Lord!!!!!! Why can’t these grown ass people just communicate!!!! If they would have used their words most of these altercations could have been resolved.

My heart is Palpitating!!!!
If it’s one thing that Tatiana knows how to do….it’s leave us with a cliffhanger. This was an amazing setup to having these worlds collide. Sono has got to so go!! I need these 2 Alphas to get it together and see they have been played. I actually don’t dislike Pierre anymore. I am ready for whatever Tati has in store for us in this universe. Great pen 🖊️🔥as always!!

When I say that Tatiana did not come to play with us. I didn’t know that the story could get so deep. We got backstory on Chevy’s family backstory on the relationship between characters. Then she has the audacity to bring us sexy, motorcycle, with a little humor. I’m out of words.

Ready or Not Here They Come!!
I tried my best to read this show because I knew I didn’t want it to end 🫣! This here was that read that gave those emotions. From how the Zoo ended up in Parkside, to Alpha vs Alpha, to closure, new beginnings, secrets and betrayal!
See Zeus has always been my #3 when it comes to them Boyz! He’s is misunderstood in my opinion! Battling with the love he has for Freckles was touching along with that battling with thinking, missing and worried about Dio. With settling in a new environment and starting a new business my guy is seeing the issues that are within the Cove. Seeing and being around Freckles ex don’t sit well with him and cause some issues within their relationship. But what he seen hurt me only because he didn’t take the time to find out 😔. Moving strictly off emotions are not always good and that’s exactly what I didn’t want to happen. Oh but that call😔, yeah ya girl over here stressed and worried on what’s about to happen. They have called for Zeus and they about to get him! I’m already buckled up.
Pierre is just lost and loves him some Freckles.
When I say he was feeling any of it he wasn’t. But as mentioned - their relationship was only for a Season. See the way I look at it, they both were in their growing/learning stage and now they both have learned to love correctly. The difference was, Pierre at first wasn’t trying to love anyone but Freckles and he meet ole gurl Tuesday. See at first I thought she was going to cause issues and she had a past in the Cove, but she was just lost trying to find herself but never thought she would find a love she didn’t know she truly needed. Now see when I seen that Pierre could be that gentleman he needed to be, I to like him a little. But those that know, if you have an issue with any Zoo member s, I just can’t really rock with you🤣🤣!
With all that has been said there is so much more to talk about but what I with say, Bishop, Bleek and Pierre but leave Chevy as well as Zeus alone. I permalloy don’t think they ready for them problem, but that’s me🥰😔! Quinton, yeah he was grimy from jump. I always thought he was a little off but didn’t think he would do what ALL he’s done. From hurting Freckles & Tuesday, being messy and cause havoc between Seven to da Cove and the Zoo Boyz
just for his satisfaction was insane. The fact he’s willing to cross the only person there for him tells me a lot about his character and I can’t wait to see what the consequences will be 🫣! Oh can forget Best! I loved her character and hope to hear more from her! I can tell she knows how to hit the switch on who she has to be in that moment with no issues.
Wait I can’t forget the guys - Preach, Diamond, Foe and Chevy. All I can say is they always ready for the shenanigans and to talk mess. Most importantly they ALWAYS ready to pop off. Oh but the Chevy they getting is a different one and he here for all the smoke to keep his peace! When I say this man cut up, baby he did just that and dared anyone to say anything. When I say they not ready, I mean just that!
So here I am again wanting to speak on so much more but it would never end. Just know I’m here and ready for the Cove and what it has to bring. My only concern is the tension that has deepen!

SO-FREAKING-GOOD!!!
I.AM. SCREAMING!!!!! The Cove has always been a dark and messy place to me. However, Tatiana, you outdid yourself.
My only caveat is that it's been so long since I read The Cove. I feel like I need to go back just to make the storyline seamless in my mind.
I did not know what to expect when the Cove met The Zoo, so this was tea!! I was here for all of it!
🙉 N*g**s were safe when Chevy was sick 'cause this Chevy has no chill! Anyone can get it.
🙈 the man met his brother, did not blink an eye or register, and still fired his chopper, What??
🙊 FOE aint ish!

"The sound of glass crashed on the floor. Zaria and I both looked back toward the sound. “Dio, no!” is all I heard"
Was that supposed to be Mars (Samara)
- the new help in Zaria's shop?
- but if it was her, they would know what Dio was up to in NY, no?
- was she the girl Keith saved from the fire 🔥 😲!
You know what I love about this? A new reader can start with "The Cove Series" then jump into "COVE CITY: VOLUME I" and have one perspective...

Pierre, the Prince of Parkside Cove is upset about his ex, Sasha and her new man Zeus (Zoo Boyz) moving and shaking in his area. They’re also recruiting more members for their motorcycle club. The only thing that calms him is Tuesday Morning, a reporter working on a story highlighting the feud between Parkside Cove and Lake Hill.
There was a lot of healing that needed to take place in this book. Before Sasha or Pierre can be happy with their significant others, they must first close their chapter. Unfortunately, drama and bloodshed ensues and now, they find themselves on opposite sides of the tracks.
At times, it was difficult to keep up with all of the characters, but the one villain who stood out the most would be Quinton. My spidey senses immediately went up every time he came around. My favorite character goes to Pierre’s mother. From day one, she treated Tuesday Morning like a daughter, and I loved that for her.
Now, it’s time to see what happened to Dio.

From page 1, it was on and poppin’! But OMG, the way the emotions were hitting me so hard as I moved through this story?? I was not prepared. 😩💥
The way the Zoo Boyz and Parkside Cove crew have now meshed into one storyline? Yeah… it’s giving smoke in the city vibes, and I know things are about to get even wilder moving forward. The tension, the overlapping drama, the loyalty lines being tested I’m here for all of it.
But hold up… did my man, my man, my man, Chevy actually sit up and get active in this one? Why yes. Yes, he did. 😏 And I loved to see it. Ain’t nothing like a man that knows when it’s time to step in and handle business!
Now let’s talk Zu and Sasha. Whew. What is going to happen there?? We know it was a misunderstanding that tore them apart, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be able to fix what’s already been broken. The pain runs deep, and I’m not sure if love is gonna be enough this time.
And Dio… my baby Dio. 😭💔 That situation right there? It’s going to take the entire family Zoo, Cove, all of them to help each other through it. Because this? This is bigger than just one person’s pain.

A LITTLE UNDERSTANDING GOES A LONG WAY
Their book definitely showed just how the eyes see what thing and the room for an explanation is shut down!!!…
Now there is 2 couples struggling to find an understanding and answers to questions they never asked!!!…Then we have 2 group of ppl that has no answers and created havoc at the hands of 1 evil person!!!…
I was so happy that Pierre made it to Tuesday before his cousin could do any more damage!!!…
Pierre and Sasha showed just how much pain can be lifted by listening, hearing and understanding that just because someone never says it, doesn’t mean they are not affected by a loss!!!…
Now we are off to New York and we know those streets will NEVER be the same!!!…
Chevy said he was trying to be good, but that evil man just won’t let him be, even with Preach trying to save souls!!!…

Mind Blown 🤯
Whew! Talk about being on the edge of my seat the entire time. The Zoo Boyz definitely came to The Cove and shook a few tables and the Cove natives definitely are not welcoming them with open arms but baby when I tell you the Zoo Boyz are not hearing none of it and I love it. Be prepared for your mouth to be on the ground, unable to digest all the tea because baby it's piping hot! Sorry not sorry but I'm true to the Zoo Crew and even though I'm hoping for the best for both sides, I have to ride with my Zoo Boyz and Ladies 🧡 I'm side eyeing a few folks that rubbed me the wrong way but my interested in some of the new characters as well. I can't wait to see how things play out in the next book.

This book had me locked in! Drama, danger, and deep-rooted tension between the Cove and the Zoo crews kept the pages turning. The Cove thought they had the city on lock, but the Zoo came in bold and ready to take over—no matter who was in the way.
Relationships are tangled—family, lovers, friends—lines are crossed, and chaos is brewing. Sasha and Zeus are growing close, but Pierre’s jealousy threatens everything. Chevy’s trying to build a new life, but his temper might ruin it all. Secrets, betrayal, and anarchy are pushing everyone to the edge.
Explosive, emotional, and I couldn’t put it down! Awesome read!

I am a Zoo Stand!
Now I was feeling Bishop in the Previous series, Prince of Parkside but, just know, war between the two I'm always foe Chevy & the Zoo! That being said the miscommunication trope is killing me. These folks half talk & never get it all out which as we all see wreaks havoc on everybody. Quinton and Khas must be brothers! Two over zealous dumb assess that need to be gone. Zeus is getting on my nerves. All testosterone and bass no realize and think. He knew Sasha and Pierre had unfinished business. Jumping to conclusions sabatoged his relationship. Everybody needs foresight and therapy!

The book had so many twist and turns I felt like a was on a roller coaster 🎢…However you did you Bigg 1…I was happy Pierre finally saw what everybody else was trying to tell him about his cousin Quinton…Nah if his own Auntie (Pierre’s) didn’t fool with him that should’ve told him something…However sometimes ppl have to learn on there own…Hopefully Tuesday will be able to forever Pierre once she’s had a chance to cool down…I feel bad for Sasha however she should’ve answers the phone for Zeus and she wouldn’t be in the predicament she in now…I feel like her and Zeus need to have a Heart to heart…Hopefully all the pieces will come together…

Tatiana has me so emotional!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is so much pain, hurt, love, and war in one city.
The cliffhanger has me ready for Volume II.

DRAAAAAAAMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAA !! whew i had to get my bearings on this one because ms. tatiana did not come to play 👏🏽👏🏽🔥. from finding out about chevys mom zeus finding out what happening with dio pierre understanding why the shit between him and sasha went to pure hell. quinton needs to be done in ASAP , and the fact that BOTH zeus and tuesday caught the ending of the talk between pierre and sasha and not allowing them to even explain what happened is truly funny in my eyes because why do they do that ???!!!!!!

I’m truly at a lost for words. I need the next book NOW. I already read Dionysus so I’m caught up caught up.
Tuesday should’ve let Pierre explain at the end because he already made it clear to you that he had loose ends to seal with Sasha. Emotions were high though..she was literally about to be sexually assaulted by his demented jealous cousin smh.
Zeus, I know my baby was acting outta emotion because of Dio but he was too impulsive locking Sasha out that house.
I want everyone to get out of their own way. Truly.

very Good read!!
From the first time Quinton was introduced, I knew he wasn’t a good person. He’s s flush, insecure, childish, narcissistic and dangerous. Between Shasta and Tuesday, I don’t know which one is more annoying. I hope all the guys can come together and go against who’s really the opp!! On to the next book. Each one gets better and better. Before you guys read this book, read the Zoo Boyz series first to get the idea of the characters and what’s going on in their lives from the start, to this book

If I know one thing, I know two for sure, Tati’s pen is lethal!!!!! This merger of The Zoo Boys and The Cove did not disappoint. The storyline intensifies as more things unfold and more things come to life. New love found may turn into new love lost. Characters we suspected to be grimey are very much so and the plot thickens when flames are a go!!!! Y’all if you have not tapped in, you’re missing out!

Oooooh Tati you really got my pressure up. First it was the cliffhanger with Dio now this. Chile the Cove is hot!! All I know is Quinton (Soho) and Naheem gotta go ASAP. Between the Zoo and Seven to Cove, Toussaint might not have anything left after the war is over. I'm ready for the next one.
I just need everyone to talk things out. From Tuesday/ Pierre to Sasha/Zues, communication goes a long way. Everybody be too quick to run off. Guess I'll be back on the next one.

I was hoping this book would talked more about Dio, even tho I read it would not ( I am hard headed lol). I love this book, there were a lot of twist and turns and it had me on the edge of my seat. I am ready to get into Vol 2 and find out what happened to Dio, I have developed a soft spot for him lol along with everyone else.

Whew, Cove City was messy in the best way. Secrets, egos, and tension stayed simmering in a plot that never let up.
The scars in this story weren’t just physical, they were emotional, generational, and still bleeding. And that ending, had me side-eyeing everybody like somebody was lying.
Tatiana Timmons gave us flawed characters, love with sharp edges, and a city that breathes secrets. I'm locked in and fully ready for Book 2.
