"Now in its 17th edition, Miller's Collectibles Price Guide 2005 is the most established guide in its field, covering a matchless range of subjects - you name it, someone collects it, and Miller's covers it." "This year we include special features on Advertising & Packaging, showing how yesterday's trash can become today's treasures. We head up to the sky for our section on aviation antiques and return to earth for a new feature on mining memorabilia. In Ceramics we look at the history of the teapot and in Rock & Pop we devote a special section to Punk. In Costume and Handbags, we explore the current trend for wearing vintage fashion, and our contemporary fascination with celebrity is reflected in Autographs and the new section devoted to film, entertainment, and theatrical memorabilia. For the 20th century we chart growing interest in post-war design with features on the 1950s, '60s, '70s, and even the 1980s. Stir up your childhood memories, with our extensive sections on Dolls, Games, and Toys and get your own children collecting with our feature on Pocket Money Collectibles. Miller's reflects all our collecting passions." Madeleine Marsh has assembled a cornucopia of collectibles for every taste and every pocket. There are histories of objects and makers, market assessments, and buying tips. She shows you pieces that have made top and record-breaking prices in the past year and looks at objects that might well become the collectible antiques of the future.
