It's very nice of Sandra to publish this snippet to remind me how much I enjoy her series featuring the very interesting and likeable characters Megan Scott and Michael Elliot. The transition to her next novel causes my anticipation for "Icy Silence" to grow. Bring it on Sandra I'll be in the pre-order group.

Timely Escape is a short story with the same main characters as Sandra Nikolai's full length novel series. Megan gets into trouble with a couple of prisoners on the lam in Montreal's old port. It was a great short read while I wait for the 3rd novel in the series, which I hope will be out soon.

Great stand-alone short story with plenty of action and tension; and a terrific tie-in to Sandra's next novel.
