I want her. I crave her. She's my addiction. The world knows me as Ian Anwell, New York Times bestselling author, but Kristina makes me want more. Much more.
I need him. I love him. He's my obsession. Everyone thinks they know Kristina Richards, but I'm more than what they see on the screen. So much more.

Ugh! Absolutely no chemistry between Ian and Kristina! And what kind of a man makes a woman choose between him and her career?! Disappointed in this series.
Ian & Kristina's inability to be honest with each other felt like high school games to me. These two have such an intense passion for each other, that their choices to not overcome their own insecurities/demons & share the truth with the other, didn't feel true to the character nor story to me. Thank goodness their journey continues.....
This is the second volume of the Silk serial which should be read in order.
A week away from each other has strained both Ian and Kristina to the breaking point. Their addiction to each other so evident and it causes Ian to make a move that hurts Kristina. Typical thinking of a man that such an act would work. She’ll deal with that so long as he understands the hurt it caused and a promise that it won’t happen again. They are together and momentarily happy as two like them can be but insecurities still plague them, stability in their relationship not yet tenable.
The erotic book that Ian wrote, with a title that mirrors this serial, is published and it’s a bestseller. Things are looking up for both of them professionally. Kristina gets a part that she’s been wanting and Ian has a new historical fiction book to write for his publisher in three months. With research to do in Rome Ian plans a trip for the both of them. His excitement is contagious and not wanting to hurt him Kristina makes a mistake, an omission that she regrets when he learns what she’s been hiding from him on the morning news. The end of this volume mirrors the plot. I find it amusing to read a book about an author writing a book inspired by events within the book that I’m reading.
This was an intense episode just as intriguing as volume one, the pain these two feel when they are apart underlines their obsession. Is this love like they tell each other or another form of the addictive tendencies that they suffer from? You want them to find happiness and some normalcy but you can see the mistakes due to their insecurities coming from their inner thoughts. Their regrets are heartbreaking, they are trying but they are flawed individuals and their making of mistakes is inevitable. As a reader I never thought I would root for characters with addictive tendencies but there is something about this couple that I find compelling.
Omissions, Regrets, Obsessions, Cravings, Heartbreaking Love, Fear, Hope... this is Silk Volume Two.
After spending some time without one another, Ian and Kristina realize they cant stay away from each other. Their love pulls them together like a magnet.
Ian's book is published and a success now that his muse is back, but soon a business trip will destroy everything...
Kristina can't stand the feeling of hurting Ian, so she keeps to herself some news that will hurt him more than she ever thought.
Its amazing how the author can explore these emotions all together and bring us a book that will keep us reading and craving for more! The anxiety that this story gives us is nerve wrecking!! Its also very sexy and unbelievable hot!
Cant wait to read Volume Three and see what happens next!
SILK Volume 2 is the second of a four part serial by KM Scott and follows the tumultuous relationship between Ian and Kristina. At the end of SILK Volume 1, our couple had separated when Kristina panicked about her relationship with Ian. Volume 2 focuses on their personal and professional struggles and the impending rise in both of their media stars.
Kristina and Ian have issues with addictions and trust, and as such there were times when the overriding emotions tipped the scales of sensibility. While our couple are addicted to one another, their pasts control so very much of their present and future. Kristina is quick to run but she has experience with betrayal and hurt. Ian also has issues of trust but his manifest in immature actions and selfish needs.
SILK Volume 2 continues to highlight the highs and lows, the yin and yang of a relationship that is both toxic and needy. There is plenty of erotic $ex and in the end, could it be the only thing that keeps this couple together? Volume 2 ends on a bit of a cliff hanger-you will want to know what happens next.
This book will rip heart your heart out....Kristina & Ian are so addicted to one another! Their love is so intense! They are trying to work through things but they both are so obsessed with one another that they keep doing or saying the wrong things. Their love seems to be strong enough to survive all of these obstacles but is it? Their sexual chemistry is over the top but is it enough? Can they survive the distance that their careers take them? We'll see...on to Book 3
Oh it's hard not to be addicted to this crazy love story! I can't stop reading. It pulls on your every emotion and has you think I g of ways to help the characters fight for life and love. Ok on to book 3!-) to fall more for this series
This book starts almost right after book 1. We get to know what Ian and Kristina are feeling after her running away due to the scene that was written by Ian to the Silk. They both struggle to live without each other, but will they manage to do it? Will be that addiction put away in the matter of time? Let's add to it: lies, mistrust, love, huge addiction, different plans of Kristina and Ian. But will Ian be able to allow Kristina to go to Vancouver for filming and would be able to forgive her lies?
✨ **Silk, Volume 2** dives deeper into Ian and Kristina’s turbulent relationship. Passion still burns hot, but Ian’s secrets and Kristina’s insecurities bring more challenges to the surface. The emotional stakes rise as trust is tested, temptations appear, and both must decide if their connection is strong enough to survive the shadows of Ian’s past.
This novella starts where the previous part ended. Ian and Kristina miss each other very much. They want each other back, but they don’t contact each other because they think the other one has moved on. One night, Kristina misses Ian so much and goes to his apartment. At his door, she discovers something awful. She doesn’t know if she can ever forgive Ian for that, but Ian doesn’t give up easily.
I didn’t like Kristina in this novella. She knows what Ian finds important in their relationship, but she still decides to not tell him something important. I also didn’t like her decision at the end of part 1 and then her feelings at the beginning of this part. Aside from one mistake at the beginning, I loved Ian. I understood why he did what he did. He really loves Kristina and can’t stop thinking about her. He doesn’t know how to live without her. He will fight for her.
I loved Sheila and Sienna in this novella. Sheila is Ian’s agent and has helped him during a difficult time in the past. She’s a great friend and will always be there for him. Sienna is a friend of Kristina and also an actress. She helps Kristina and listens to her.
There do happen a few things outside their relationship and I loved them. This novella ends again with a cliffhanger, but I had a feeling about how it would end. I started the next part immediately after finishing this part and I hope I like Kristina more in that part.
The ending of Volume one had me on the edge of my seat so I had to know what would happen next between Ian and Kristina. Thankfully this installment picks up right where the previous one left off. Ian is going out of his mind not being able to see, touch or talk to Kristina. Kristina is a mess too. She isn't eating or sleeping well and knows that she messed up. But she doesn't know what to do to make up for leaving.
In a bold move, she heads to see Ian. She was in for quite the surprise when she gets to his place. From there the drama only intensifies. When they settle down enough to actually talk to one another they're able to get out what they've been through during their time apart. I enjoyed Kristina lashing out. It was an honest expression of her hurt and suffering and reiterated how dependent she was on Ian. Ian displayed great patience and nurturing in this one. It was a different side of him that I was happy to see.
However, nothing good can last forever and once again silly fears and circumstances get in the way. Kristina once again makes a rash decision that causes strife in their relationship. This installment of Silk ends with another cliffhanger and Ian and Kristina's relationship is once again in the balance.
Ian and Kristina, two seriously flawed people. They are both addicted and obsessed, not only to one another, but other things also. Sometimes they cannot live together and at the same time they cannot live apart. This volume finds that the couple have been apart for a week, which has lead Ian to do some things that made me want to strangle him. Once again they find their way back to one another, and Ian having his muse back can write again. Kristina has some really great news about her job but she doesn't want to tell Ian because she is afraid he will be hurt, because of some plans he has made for the two of them. The end of this volume ticked me off a little. Ian acts as though he is the only one with a career in this relationship!! Oh yeah, I did mention that he was seriously flawed, right? Anyway, on to volume three. It's weird that K.M. Scott can take two flawed, obsessed, addictive characters and have the reader rooting for them. It is almost like you want to hate these two people for some of the stupid stuff they do, but you just can't!!
I enjoyed this installment. The problem is that the ending of this book and what leads to the end is frustrating. Kristina gets all pissy for Ian thinking something is wrong with her and asking her what is wrong when in fact she has something to tell him, but doesn't want to disappoint. And you know that saying "you better tell them before they find out from somewhere else" and it will be even worse? Well boom...
This book continues where book 1 ends. For a short erotica read this book has it all...from twist, turns and love story. This does have a cliffhanger because it part of a 4 part series. Kristina and Ian found each other again but can when careers come first can they stay together or will it end?
I love how KM draws you into the story and leaves you hanging . I've read all of her books and I can't wait to see what she writes next.
Ian and Kristina's relationship is riveting. Their twisted relationship continues in this book and it keeps me enthralled and waiting to see how it progresses. The toxic need the other possesses keeps me glued to the story. I can't wait for the next installment to see what happens next. Provided by author in exchange for an honest review.
This story of struggle between the characters is what most new relationship go through when trying to find balance in a relationship but with out honest, trust , and communication a relationship will fail I hope this doesn't happen but on too book 3 to see. enjoy.
Ian and Kristina continue the slow torture of obsession and addiction with each other. Volume 2 is just as intense as V.1 but the schmexiness quotient is turned up a couple of knots. THings also got a bit more real as their professions start to get in the way. Looking forward to V.3.
Omg this book is breaking my heart and ripping it to peices i dont know if i can go onto book three. Dont gete wrong the book is good there is just so much heartache for both kristina and ian and im scared their relationship will not survive
If volume 1 was a car wreck, this book was a train wreck. Water certainly finds its own level with these two F-ed up characters. I will say that Ms. Scott can write! She is eloquent, engaging and definitely knows how to bring the steam.
Gracious this couple is giving me a headache! They are so weak with each other. Both are strong people but they can't admit when something is wrong and she gets mad when he does what she wants..leave her but yet she thinks lying to him is ok? Ugh! Onto book 3.
