A rollercoaster ride of emotions and betrayals…

This is the third volume of the Silk serial which should be read in order.

Ian returns from Rome after five weeks of research and falling back into old patterns. Things get worse when he sees the latest headlines regarding the actress that he loves. She has moved on or so he thinks not questioning the veracity of what is printed and he has nothing left but pain that he wants to stop. There’s only one way that he knows to do so. And that is how Kristina finds him. It breaks her heart but she stands by him and finds the strength to get him the help that she’s not equipped to give him. In her support and their love he finds the strength to go through what he must.

The knocks just keep coming. When I think they have a chance at a new start something else happens to derail our couple. I was impressed with how Kristina handled Ian’s fall and then I was very disappointed in her. She was strong enough to do what had to be done to help Ian but then she betrays him while he’s in rehab and more than once. I’m not sure how I feel about that, as a character she has lost this reader’s respect and understanding. Where was the strength that she found to help the man that she swears she loves? Why couldn’t she stay true to him? It will be interesting to see if the author can redeem her for me. Can Ian survive the latest betrayals without falling into the abyss again? I hope so.

SILK Volume 3 is the third of four installments in KM Scott’s SILK erotic romance serial focusing on actress Kristina Richards and author Ian Anwell. Told from alternating first person points of view SILK Volume 3 picks up five weeks after the events of volume 2 wherein our couple has separated once again. Misunderstanding leads to relapse and our hero begins a downward spiral as Ian struggles with his addiction and losing the woman that he loves. But forgiveness is short lived when Ian and Kristina become headline news and with it a truth that sends Ian into another abyss.

The relationship continues to be centered upon their sexual needs and wants. For all of their declarations of love, Kristina and Ian have problems with fidelity and telling the truth. Their emotional issues, and need to run continue to hurt one another –over and over again. There is no denying that Kristina and Ian’s relationship is toxic and poisonous.

This story just keeps ripping my heart out but I'm having a much better time dealing with it....just when you think things are falling into place Ian & Kristina's lives are torn apart again! Their love for one another is so intense but so is the addiction and then there are the lies! Will their love survive?

✨ **Silk, Volume 3** raises the tension as Ian and Kristina face the consequences of lies, betrayal, and painful truths. Their love is undeniable, but trust is fragile, and one wrong choice could tear them apart for good. This volume is full of drama, heartbreak, and passion, keeping readers hooked until the very last page.

When the lies and omissions start again, everything is ruined!

This series are killing me! I cant believe in this emotional roller coaster, its heartbreaking ... So far the best book in this series!
You know that feeling when you see everything going alright and then you start seeing something that will blow everything and you keep saying no no no no don't do it!!!?
I cant stop thinking about Ian and his pain. His addiction is making him weak and all he wants is a future with Kristina but blow after blow he starts to see it sinking further...
Although this story brings us a really serious theme like heroin addiction, it also gives us some hot sexy scenes!

The obsession of Ian and Kristina continues in volume three. They have been separated for five weeks, both of them having to deal with their jobs. At the same time they are trying to deal with their separation, one bought on by their own making. Ian broke my heart in this book, and it was a very emotional read. I am sure it was as hard for K.M. Scott to write about Ian's falling apart, as it was for me to read about it. Yes, he is a flawed, messed up, dependent man but at the same time I could not help but fall in love with him. That being said, I wanted to snatch a knot in Kristina's neck, she really needs to quit running, put on her big girl panties and either be there for Ian or leave him alone! I am beginning to sound like I know these two personally. That is because this volume had a lot going on it, and the fact that K.M. Scott could put me through so many emotions while reading it, just proves what a fantastic author she is.
On to volume four now, and I hope I can keep my cool and not sling my kindle at something!!

This part was much better than the previous part. It’s my favorite part of this series so far. I liked Kristina more and she fights for Ian. I got to know the addicted Ian and that wasn’t easy to read sometimes. Ian is strong and wants to fight against his addictions. He also has an extra incentive to beat them now: his love for Kristina. Kristina supports him and is there for him. She does make one bad decision that could affect their relationship. I yet again loved Sheila and Sienna.

I liked this book MUCH MUCH better than Volume Two. I love me some Ian. Kristina is irritating me with her running away from problems, especially since she created this one, instead of putting her big girl panties on & facing the music. The fact I am so passionate about how I feel, speaks to the authors writing ability!!!! Can't wait to read the final Volume Four....

Love Ian

Each Silk Volume just gets better. Seems like whatever Ian and Kristina do they hurt each other. So glad I can continue on with Volume Four because I don't think I could have waited for it. What a great series. Keeps you guessing.

Ian and Kristina were their best yet in this installment of Silk. They came alive in the pages and it was full of angst. I have felt an array of emotions and for the first time in a while, I actually can't imagine what will happen next! Love it!! Provided by author in exchange for an honest review.

Ok at this point the train wreck ran right off of the tracks. As previously stated - not romantic, not erotic. Pathetic characters. Only the second book that I have ever not finished. Usually a big fan of k.M Scott.....but not so much this
