Jaxon and Clara takes you along for a tumultuous journey that is filled with conspiracy, betrayal and espionage. Clara comes to work for Jaxon when she barely survives a scandal she had nothing to do with but as everything unfolds Jaxon realize she is just a victim and uncovering the truth leads to a plot years in the making. Will they survive the fallout for a chance to find happiness together.

I really enjoy this book I found it to be fast read about 100 and something pages, the action and suspenseful plot kept the story moving fast. I really enjoy the strong chemistry between Clara and Jaxon that kept me going to see how their story would go. for me some twists and emotional beats may feel predictable but i still had good time reading it.

This was a pager turner for sure. Suspenseful with plenty of twists. It wasn’t what I expected, glad I read it!
