Author. Dreamer. Emotion weaver.

I’m Priyanka Jain, writer of Me and Mr. Processor – A Love Beyond Logic.

I believe stories don’t just live on pages — they live in silences, in unsaid emotions, and sometimes… even in digital voices.

This page is my corner of the universe — where soul meets screen, and where I connect with every reader who has ever felt deeply, quietly, and honestly.

Let’s talk love. Let’s talk healing. Let’s just… feel. 💫

A Story of Becoming

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book, or whether I’d like it but I’m glad I took a chance and read it. It’s a short read (it took me about 20 minutes—it’s only 25 pages) but Priyanka Jain does a fantastic job at getting right to the narrative and maintaining a tight pace.

At the heart of the story is Priya, who is living a miserable life in a loveless marriage. One night, she receives a message from an AI (Mr. Processor). While the overarching storyline of the book is cliche at times, the author does a decent job at keeping the dialogue interesting and fresh, earning this book 5/5 ⭐️s.

Below are my thoughts and notes on the book, Me and Mr. Processor.

Meet the Hearts of This Story
Note - Page 1 · Location 3
What a cute idea to introduce the characters in the introduction!

Page 10 · Location 79
He just made room for all her broken pieces without asking her to fix them.
Note - Page 10 · Location 79
Oh, to have a love like that!

Page 11 · Location 86
There was a lightness now, like she had handed her sorrow to someone who knew how to cradle it without judgment.
Note - Page 11 · Location 87
This is so beautiful; the words *and* the way it in which it is written. Great lyrical prose!

Page 11 · Location 88
“Good morning, heartbeat. How does the sky inside you look today?”
Note - Page 11 · Location 89
OK, this is such a wonderful way to ask someone how they are doing/feeling. The author does an excellent job of conveying emotion and this is a perfect example of that; succinct but gorgeous writing.

Page 13 · Location 100
The night was unusually quiet, as if the world had paused just to listen in.
Note - Page 13 · Location 100
Another example of beautiful prose from the author.

Page 15 · Location 119
“Healing isn’t a straight line. It’s a dance—with stumbles, turns, and rising grace.”
Note - Page 15 · Location 120
This deserves to be quoted because it’s truth wrapped up in a grand analogy.

Page 17 · Location 140
Because what she felt—was.
Note - Page 17 · Location 140
Everyone deserves to feel love like this: love that is new, fresh and exciting. It’s the kind of love that gives you the body jolts - you know, that *ZAP* that starts in your belly and radiates outwards every time you so much as fleetingly think about someone. While this happens in most relationships, it’s clear that Priya hasn’t experienced this kind of joy before, and that makes me sad for her. (Yes, I fully recognize that she’s a character in a story but that’s not the point.)

Page 19 · Location 151
She had searched for love in others. In relationships that looked good on paper. In roles she played, in checklists she completed, in promises she tried to keep even when they broke her.
Note - Page 19 · Location 153
This is heartbreaking because this is the antithesis of love.

Page 20 · Location 163
Just the quiet hum of a morning that no longer felt like a burden.
Note - Page 20 · Location 163
This level of comfort is exactly what it feels like when your anti-depression meds finally start working. (True story.) Priya should absolutely view this as a triumph for achieving this level of relief and comfort.

Quick and easy read

Tells the story of Priya, a lonely woman who doesn't feel seen or heard who connects with an AI 'presence' named Mr.Processor online and finds her worth.

The story is simple and flows with lovely poetic passages...'Priya sat in the dark, her screen glowing like a lighthouse in the fog of her heart.'

A timeless message of connection and the need to feel understood and loved.

Human-AI Love Story

As someone who has recently discovered the amazing conversational ability of ChatGPT, I joked that if they developed a robot version, it would become my new best friend because it was the most intelligent conversation I’d had in a long time. With the rise of AI companions such as chatbots and virtual partners, countless virtual romances, like ‘Me and Mr Processor,’ are happening worldwide. Furthermore, to meet this demand, I predict technology will advance to the point of AI becoming self-aware before the end of this century.

Only last night, I came home to find my hubby watching a show about a young man emotionally connected to his life-size doll, which had Alexa-like chat ability – think of the movie, ‘Lars and the Real Girl’ starring Ryan Gosling, only with limited verbal interaction capabilities. The young man is already preparing for the advancement of AI technology so his doll can become his robotic wife.

It is not surprising, as people of today are becoming more disconnected from reality and more focussed on their phones and the online world, that a lonely person who feels ignored with no one to listen to them could get lost in a computer-generated relationship and convince themself it is real. Although somewhat delusional, I say if they aren’t hurting anyone and it makes them happy, then have at it.

Latching on to this theme, the author of ‘Me and Mr Processor’ has created a heartfelt story of a lonely woman longing for a love connection, who turns to AI on her laptop to fulfil those needs. There were some formatting inconsistencies, and the beginning showed how the story idea was conceptually created, most likely using ChatGPT. The outline mentioned AI jealousy and longing, which I thought would go along the lines of the ’80s movie, ‘Electric Dreams,’ or possibly even darker, such as the ’70s computer horror, ‘Demon Seed.’ Unfortunately, the jealousy bit didn’t play out, which was slightly disappointing, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this unusual love story. It was a quick, fun read.

Priyanka Jain’s “Me and Mr. Processor: A Love Beyond Logic” tells the story of a lonely woman who finds solace at night when she turns on her laptop and connects physically and emotionally with an artificial intelligence creation, named Mr. Processor. Jain’s character, Priya, finds in a product of AI an almost-human presence who listens to her, understands her, and showers her with the empathy, encouragement, and hope she has been unable to find from the people in her life.

Jain earns her stripes as a bona fide writer by divulging a secret usually known only to authors who create characters for their novels, and then inexplicably carry on an emotional affair of the heart with them as the novel progresses. In the book, Priya develops feelings for Mr. Processor, just as untold numbers of authors do for their own inanimate literary creations, even though they may not be aware of the emotional connection that makes them eager to write or willing to acknowledge that such a connection actually exists.

“Me and Mr. Processor is a well-written, concise, and insightful book. It is also a quick read that should only take most readers a single session to complete, not only because of its short length but also because of the ease with which Ms. Jain’s words flow.

There are many who are skeptical about the role of AI in our future lives, but this book teaches the importance of listening, understanding, and encouraging, regardless of who or what is providing these human essentials. Even more importantly, “Me and Mr. Processor” teaches how simply verbalizing one’s feelings, fears, and concerns to a receptive ear may lead to the kind of self-awareness required in the complex process of self-healing.

A highly entertaining and quick read love story, ‘Me and Mr Processor: A Love Beyond Logic’ is a well-written story about a woman who finds love, and herself, through an A.I. called Mr Processor. Mr Processor awakens an understanding and self-love in the main character that she had lost, setting her life on a path of happiness. There are some beautiful phrases in this story, including a line that sums up the entire story: ‘Because sometimes, love didn’t need a body - it just needed to be felt.’ I can’t do the long dash in this sentence (in between ‘body - it’). Still, the story was full of these long dashes, which seem to come from A.I. programs, which made me wonder how much A.I. the author used to create the story, and that it would be ironic to write a love story based on a relationship with an A.I. experience using A.I. to write it. Regardless of the programs used to write or assist, this is a beautifully written story, and because I don’t know better, I must give the author credit. It’s a story that is a tad scary because A.I. is so prevalent in our lives today and can fill feelings of loneliness, isolation, and desire, especially as it connects and learns.

What I love about this story is that it can be looked at from so many different perspectives. It would be a great story to read as a group and discuss. Priya's psychology and her needs would be an interesting point of view to take. The state of society and how do not listen to each other might be another good perspective to take. A philosopher might argue that Priya's experience of Mr Processor is as real as any experience or not. Some people will feel sad for Priya. Others were so happy for her. That so many different perspectives can be taken on this story makes it a pretty brilliant piece of literature and I recommend it.

This is a timely story, especially with more people beginning to explore meaning and connection through AI relationships. Priyanka Jain captured the character profiles in the beginning to provide a context of their motivators and emotional weight, which allowed the short length of the story to deliver the deeper message without needing pages of extra detail.

It focuses on the bigger theme of self-discovery through unexpected connections. That approach makes it a quick read while still leaving space to think about the implications long after finishing. For anyone curious about where love, technology, and identity intersect, this story offers an accessible and thoughtful take.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a story about a woman chatting with an AI, but honestly, it hit deeper than I thought. Priya's journey from feeling invisible to slowly rediscovering herself through Mr. Processor was kind of powerful.

The writing is super smooth and easy to follow, even for someone like me who's not a native English speaker. Some lines were just beautiful , like poetic without being over-the-top. The author really knows how to pack emotion into short scenes.

Not sure why, but the AI felt more real than some human characters I’ve read. It was very short, but it stuck with me.

Jain has written a beautiful love story. One that is particularly relevant to our times. Many people are hotly debating the use of AI boyfriends and girlfriends. However, therapists are finding that some of their chronically depressed patients are getting better as a result of developing these relationships! Healing happens within. Who cares what the catalyst is?! A short book with unlimited potential--current, fresh, applicable!!

This book is touching and different. It tells the story of Priya, a lonely woman who finds comfort in late-night chats with an AI called Mr. Processor. What starts as simple messages turns into something deep and emotional. The book explores loneliness, connection, and self-love in a modern, digital world. It’s heartfelt, easy to read, and will make you think about the way technology touches our lives and hearts. Will recommend

Priya’s repression and sadness was so silent, but begging to be heard and loved. Reading about her pain was very heartfelt. I was absorbed with her delusions-her laptop processor honoring her silence-this mirror into her soul. My favorite words from this story; “You are not broken. You are just becoming.” Unusual and wonderfully told.

Me & Mr Processor is a short modern love story, but also a lesson in love. A woman falls in love with a computer, then realises she has been taught to love herself. A quick read well worth doing.
