'Trying to find a Baldacci series I like.' > That was my comment when I started this book and the last in this John Puller series. And I do like this series. I think that might be the last book in this series? I think I'll pick up another series to read next, because these two books, 'The Forgotten' and 'The Escape' reminded me why I enjoy Baldacci's books. They really keep your interest.
Another author I like is the author of the Reacher novels, but I stopped reading those because they became too vigilante and too much violence. This author give you the action and suspense with some violence, for sure, but it doesn't present a main character who is crossing lines from defending himself and protecting people, to just beating the crap out of people because he can and he's good at it so maybe he enjoys it too much.
The story had an interesting plot but was a bit long winded. All in all, there were a lot of twists that kept you guessing and engaged right up to the end.Another amazing delivery by David Baldacci.
Another well written book by Baldacci and one I could not put down. I loved the characters and plot . This was about John Puller clearing the name of his older brother who was framed for murder and treason. I recommend this thriller.
I like Baldacci. I like the Puller series. So I am a happy camper. No spoilers from me. Suffice it to say I really liked the book. Good plot. Moves along nicely.Recommended.
I always like David Baldacci's John Puller series. I did enjoy the first two better. The trust vs no trust issues with the Knox character got a little irritating.
Always enjoy Baldacci. This John Puller book doesn't disappoint. It keeps one guessing to the end. It was hard to put it down and get my "to do" list done. Highly recommend it.
