I fled New York and everything I thought I knew about safety, trust, and love. After surviving a brutal abduction and the darkest days of my life, I’ve found a quiet kind of peace in Los Angeles. In the steady presence of the three Alphas assigned to protect me.
Dante. Hero. Levi.
They were supposed to be nothing more than security. But somewhere between the late-night check-ins, soft-spoken reassurances, and the way they look at me like I’m something worth guarding. Something changed. For them. For me. Now I’m not just rebuilding my career. I’m learning what it means to be wanted. To be chosen. To be loved, wholly and without condition.
So when a world-famous designer invites me back to New York for the most high-profile fashion event of the year, I freeze. Going back means facing the city and the trauma I left behind. It could launch my career into the stratosphere or shatter everything I’ve worked to rebuild.
Last time I walked into a shoot, I was stolen, beaten, and broken.
This time, I’ll walk that runway on my own terms or not at all. With my Alphas by my side, this Omega in love is ready to shine and take back my life.
Omega in love is a Sweet WhyChoose MMMM Omegaverse. Please make sure you read over the trigger and content warnings before turning the page.
This was such a soft and beautiful story. The second book in the Fire and Bloom duet. Two different types of survivors , two different paths to healing. A real companion story. I loved the softness of the story. The acts of service and the gentle build up to a deep love. The way it unfolded like the flower that is our Brookie. There isn’t a lot of push and pull here it’s just a steady upward journey that once discovered you get to just enjoy and experience. It does have moments where it’s a touch to slow or repetitive but over if you love a good hurt/comfort story this checks all those boxes. It was the perfect ending to the world. Starting with Going Down Smooth and ending here they are all very different stories that build off one another and complement each other in the OV universe Wells built. It has been an incredible journey both the stories and in Wells growth as an author. And I will love her and these stories forever for the representation they offer in a sub genre I love.
This book has all the emotions. Brookes story is a slow burn and centers around his past and healing from all he has been through. With help and understanding from his alphas he becomes stronger and coming back to his own. So enjoyed this book and definitely recommend.
Thank you for the early copy. All opinions are my own
✨MMMM ✨Hurt/comfort ✨Mentions of assault
Dreia done made me cry yall 😭
“I’m not alone. I won’t ever be alone again. Because they’re mine. My alphas. My pack. My home.”
I fell in love Brookes while reading Omega on Fire and was thrilled he got his own story. In book 2 of this duet we follow as Brookes struggles from the events that unfolded previously
Let’s start with his recovery. It was heartwrenching but so relatable. You know a book is good when you can see pieces of yourself in it. He struggled, and the nights were tough but he pushed through and had amazing support
Dante, Hero and Levi were so patient with Brookes. Anticipating his needs even before he knew what he needed. And when they finally hooked up gaaah it was so sweet 🥹 After that it was a wrap! They couldn’t keep their hands off 🥵. Sigh* Brookes is so lucky. Three big Alpha males and at their center is a sassy yet vulnerable omega 🫶🏾
We also got to see Charlotte and Pack Hudson again 🥰
Once again Dreia has given us an amazing story with loveable characters and a strong lead who gets back up
Omega in Love is a sweet MMMM romance. Brookes is a male Omega who’s survived unimaginable trauma—abduction, betrayal, and the loss of safety in a world that once adored him. Now, tucked away in LA, he’s guarded by three Alphas who were meant to protect him professionally… but end up loving him personally. And not just romantically—soulfully. Each Alpha brings something different:
• Hero is the gentle strength, always watching, always steady. • Levi is the quiet warmth, the one who sees Brooke’s pain and never flinches. • Dante is the fire, the protector who dares Brookes to dream again.
This isn’t a spicy omegaverse—it’s a sweet one. The intimacy is emotional first, physical second. It’s a slow-burn WhyChoose romance that centers healing, not heat—and that made it all the more powerful.

There aren’t a lot of stories out there that deal with the days, weeks and months after the storm settles. You get epilogues that give you a glimpse, but you rarely see the full story. A happily ever after often feels easy at the end of the book, not highlighting that the road to get there comes with plenty of obstacles. “Omega in Love” shows it all though: The nightmares, the flashbacks, but also the therapy, healing, connecting, …
Brookes is a wonderful man, and I’m happy we get to see his story as well. Some might decide it’s not for them since this is an MMMM romance story, but I still hope many will give it a chance. It’s actually quite nice to see the whole pack revolve around our Omega, and he deserves all the love his men give him. Their protectiveness and patience are remarkable, and he truly struck gold with all three of them.
It’s a bittersweet feeling when an author closes the door on a world, but it’s equally exciting to wonder about what might be next. The author gives us some ideas at the very end, and I’m looking forward to find out more in the future.
Omega in Love is book two of the Fire and Bloom duet. The books should be read in order for maximum enjoyment.
Brookes is an omega who went through a horrific ordeal. His trauma has given him panic attacks, nightmares, and three Alpha bodyguards. He protects himself with sarcasm and a personal shield that he erects around almost everyone.
Dante, Levi, and Hero are three single alphas who are all hopelessly attracted to the snarky omega. They vow never to let him be hurt again..no matter what.
This book had top tier witty banter and also heart. It provides that perfect combination of snark and swoon. The characters leap from the page and are instant book boyfriend material. The mental health issues were truthfully and meaningfully represented. Highly recommend.
This is the second book in a duet and, according to the author, the last book in this particular universe.
It picks up Brooke's story, immediately after the end of Charlotte's. While the other stories have shown the battle, this shows the recovery.
Brookes is recovering from his ordeal at the end of Charlotte's book, and now has a round the clock security detail in the form of three hunky alphas. Well, what's an omega to do?
All three alphas are distinct characters who compliment each other so well. The pack they form with Brookes feels natural and right.
I've loved this series, and there's a wonderful pay off to the overall arc at the end, too!
Brooke has been rescued from the senator but just because he’s not there anymore doesn’t mean it hasn’t let its mark on him. And he’s being protected to keep the senator’s men from getting him again. Hes got some deep emotional wounds from the ordeal he went through. The guys guarding him Hero, Dante, and Levi are so patient with Brooke and so caring. Brooke has to decide what he’s willing to risk and what he’s willing to fight for. Will he do the modeling gig? Will he accept his pack? There’s so much pain for him and yet so much sweetness. I really loved reading the story seeing how the bonds formed between these guys.
I’m so glad we got to see Brookes’ story play out. When he was introduced in Charlotte’s story and then dragged into that nightmare I needed to know he could make it through that. This story didn’t disappoint at all. To see Brookes struggle to survive and more forward with his life was so hard to see, but he is such a strong beautiful soul. Then add in the amazing supportive alphas in his life and it was everything I had hoped for for him!
This is book 2 in the Fire & Bloom Duet and you will not regret picking this up!
Omega in Love - Brookes book follows on quickly from Omega on Fire (Brookes friend - Charlotte's book).
Brookes is left dealing with the trauma and repercussions of the events that happened to both him & Charlotte in the book before. This book certainly brought on all the feels. I loved Brookes from Charlotte's book with all his quick wit and finesse but in this book we see the guy underneath that persona. More so with his relationship with Dante, Levi and Hero. Which was protective, endearing and also heartwarming too. A really good with characters that I loved so much.
I was so glad that Brookes got his own story, he was such a great character in book one and definitely needed a book of his own.
This one is MMMM and I really enjoyed the balance between all the characters. There’s a lot of trauma in Brookes past and his alphas are patient and understanding and I enjoyed how they seemed to anticipate what Brookes needed. This helped with his healing and finding a new home.
Great hurt/comfort story and I love a found family trope so this hit me in all the right places.
This conclusion to the Fire & Bloom duet shifts from the darkness of Omega on Fire into something softer, more hopeful, and deeply emotional. The romance feels earned, the pacing is steady, and the resolution provides both closure and warmth.
What I love most about Dreia Wells’s universe is how omegas are more than a trope, they’re a powerful metaphor for voices that have been suppressed throughout history. That layer of meaning gives the romance and character arcs real weight.
A heartfelt, satisfying ending to a duet that blends passion with substance.
Dreia gives us Bloomes' story as the second half of the Fire and Bloome duet! Follow the path of healing and growth as Bloome goes from fear to determination as he learns to trust and love Dante, Hero and Levi while they protect him and watch him rebuilding his life. To watch the transformation happen, dive into this beautifully written book with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout. I've loved reading this story and highly recommend the series. Don't miss out on this book!!
I enjoyed their journey of healing and loving. I do wish there was more showing than characters having inner monologues. The love scenes were very sweet, though I wish the claiming bites had been more detailed when they happened.
I'm glad that Brookes was able to have all the support necessary for healing and loving. It's hard, especially in the raggedy works he lives in. It was nice to see the other characters too! 🖤🤌🏾
This book focuses around Brookes and his healing. His security team have been protecting him for a long time and over that time Brookes learns to trust again and the alphas fall for the male Omega that captured their hearts over time. This is a slow burn with a HEA. Our spitfire Charlotte and her guys also make an appearance in this book as well. I enjoyed this book. I will be waiting for more great works from this author.
After reading Charlotte's story, I knew I needed one for Brookes and this author did not disappoint. This was a slower sweet story with Brookes and all his men. It takes you on an emotional ride through his healing and the way the pack grows together. It was real, raw and had me all up in my feels. So good.
This was a sweet why choose Omega MMMM read. The omega was abused and suffered trauma in his past. He has a hard time adjusting after this. He’s also always in the spotlight as he is a male model. However those that protect him are also his bodyguards. It’s a story of survival, healing, and love. I really enjoyed reading this.
Omega In Love, book 2 of The Fire and Bloom Duet, by Dreia Wells, @dreia_wells_author. Dreia is a favorite author of mine.
I loved this book about Brookes, Dante, Hero & Levi! This is Brookes Charlotte’s BFF and her book is Omega on Fire. Tropes: Contemporary, Omegaverse, All Male Harem, Omega, 3 Alphas, Slow Burn/Medium Pace, Found Family, No 3rd Act Break Up, & HEA!
If you love Omegaverse then this one’s for you. Love when the omega is a male. This is a story with all guys. If you love a story with healing after a traumatic event you will also enjoy this story. This story shows that you are not so damaged that no one will love you. It also shows you life does go on after your trauma.
Brookes deserved all the love and caring and healing after what he went through! It took them a bit to get there, but Levi, Dante, and Hero were more than just his hired security. They were all perfect for each other as lovers for Brookes as well as just being a family for each other. Loved it!!!
This was such a great read, it gave Brookes the HEA that he deserved and closure for him and Charlotte. I loved the care and attention his men gave him, noticing all the small things that made him happy and anticipating his wants and needs. Loved it.
This is Brookes story and I like seeing him slowly heal from his past and realize he deserves love. It is slow burn but well worth it as you see him go from being in the spotlight and hiding his true self and becoming who he really is underneath it the mask he had to put on.
A beautiful and touching story, the second book in the Fire and Bloom duet. Brookes was so sweet and gentle and he received wonderful love and support from Dante, Levi and Hero. Heartwarming and full of healing.

Brookes deserves all the love! This is a fantastic ending to the duet. Brookes is a little broken and needs what Hero, Levi and Dante each offer. This is a true story of love, acceptance, being what each needs and did i say LOVE! Great series!
Omg I loved this series so much… sad to see it end. I loved Brookes story so much. It was a beautiful story of healing and love. Brookes deserved to be loved and heard and that’s what Dante, Levi and Hero gave him…
Not many books look at the emotional healing that needs to be done after trauma. I am glad that we got to see Brooks through his healing and finding his love. Lots of emotions in this amazing well written book.
There aren't many books that explore what really happens after big trauma, after the supposed “happily ever after.” Most just hand us a neat epilogue, a bow on top. Dreia Wells dives deep into the hard parts most stories skim over: the nightmares, the PTSD, the ache of rebuilding. It’s not always easy to read but it is incredibly rewarding.
Brooke’s journey is slow burn and soul deep. You feel every struggle, every moment of doubt, and most importantly every tiny spark of hope as he begins to heal. Therapy, connection, love... it’s all handled with care and honesty. This isn’t a book that promises healing is linear. It reminds you it’s messy, and that’s what makes it feel real.
Now, I’ll be honest MMMM romance isn’t usually my cup of tea. I tend to enjoy it more in a Reverse Harem setting. But this story surprised me in the best way. Hero, Dante, and Levi aren’t just there for spice (though there’s definitely plenty of that too!). They’re patient, understanding, and each bring something essential to Brooke’s recovery and self acceptance. Their dynamic as a “pack” is layered and full of heart.
I was kind of hoping we’d get a bit more closure with Brooke’s family especially seeing his parents acknowledge his worth without the pressure of being an alpha and I would have loved more background on the alphas themselves. But even without that, the emotional weight of this story carries beautifully.
If you're looking for an omegaverse romance that brings both spice and substance with characters you’ll root for, and a healing journey that doesn’t shy away from the hard truths Omega in Love is absolutely worth your time.
(As always, this review is 100% voluntary just a fangirl who couldn’t put the book down!)
After Brookes was rescued from Senator Blaine, the physical and emotional terror he had gone through the process of healing was long and hard, first the physical wounds had to heal, and the scars had faded. The emotional healing was a different story, the systematic break down he had to endure along with the rejection of his parents when he presented as a male omega. The nightmares, the anxiety attacks, and his lack self-confidence as Hero, Levi, and Dante were hired to watch over Brookes so none of Senator Blaine’s associated could not get to Brookes and hurt him possible permanently. Can Brooks conquer his fear and take the modeling job that would rebrand and energize his modeling career? Could Brookes accept the love that was being offered to him and give him a pack? And most importantly can Brooks testify Senator Blaine’s trial?
