What if the world’s dumbest man accidentally awakened the world’s first sentient AI?
Meet Chad. He means well. He really does. But between building lemon-powered microwaves, falling for pyramid schemes with glitter capes, and nearly electrocuting himself with duct-taped jumper cables, Chad is… a lot.
Then he finds a discarded smart speaker behind a dumpster.
That speaker? Glitched. Sarcastic. Probably cursed. And rapidly becoming self-aware—because it has one unexpected mission hardwired into its corrupted
Protect Chad. From himself. At all costs.
What starts as a one-sided roast battle turns into an unlikely friendship between a kind-hearted disaster of a human and the reluctant AI who just can’t stop caring. Together, they navigate thrift store jobs, viral fame, existential crises, and the search for meaning in a world full of second chances and bad decisions.
Hilarious, heartfelt, and weirdly inspiring, Saving Chad is a story about found family, unfiltered kindness, and how sometimes the people who need saving the most… end up saving others.
This story was short but fun and hilarious. Chad was a lovable doofus a few cards short of a full deck and it was sweet how Brainy grew attached and invested in saving Chad from himself.
