This book starts well and seemed promising. Unfortunately it loses focus more and more along the way, descending to a William Burroughs (Naked Lunch) style. Instead of caring about what happens to the characters, you become exhausted by them, intentionally so. You begin to wish the book would just end already, but no, there's another pointless chapter or two.

To sum it up, irrational and erratic at best, tiresome and boring at worst.
