What is it about Comedy that digs so deeply into our heart and soul?
From the beginning of time people have wanted to laugh and make others laugh. We have needs and desires that oftentimes — most times — are never met. But does that mean that we give up? Our pain is often couched in humor and it resonates throughout our societies in a variety of ways (films, novels, television, live performances, any political decisions by the Republicans, etc.)
Of course not.
We continue to search for the fulfillment that we all deserve, even if we spend much of our life trying to define what our own personal desires truly are. Each one of us yearns for something special, unique to each of us, to complete us in a way we haven't yet felt.
Perhaps we are looking for that hint of the happiness that we felt when we were younger.
