Quinn is on his way back to Scotland, hell-bent on finding his sister and pretending Lizzie didn't break his heart.
All the while, Catriona is having the time of her life in the present, as Piper struggles to fight off the evil she thought she'd finally vanquished. And plan a wedding.

Another time traveling story featuring the same characters with the same basic plot. Getting bored with the series. I have one more to go so will read til the end but will avoid such a long series (8 books) in the future. Should have made it into only 3 books and I would have been happier. Seems like just a way to make more money for the publisher. Wait a bit and maybe they will make them a set for less money.
I love this series, this book continued a carefully woven tale that has people in their time and the past; which creates an incredible story. One that is tough to put down and one you can't wait to read the next in the series. Totally love this series!
How well this author writes her characters. I started reading the series with the time travelers with the muirrs .I have waited impatiently for each book. Keep up the good work.
Witches and spells and portals all in one book. Read author Cassidy Cayman’s books and wonder if it could all be true. Transport to the future or the past. I wonder where I would want to live.
I absolutely LOVE this series and all the characters. Yes, I wanted to wring Catie's bratty little neck at times but I also love her! I enjoyed imagining her new experiences in the 21st century & picking up some of the vernacular like "It sucks!" I loved getting to meet Shane too. I have to admit, I was annoyed with Lachlan not wanting her to stay. I couldn't understand his reasoning behind it and thought it was selfish...until the end of course when he changed his mind ;) Other than that, I love those Fergusons. As much as I'm ready and looking forward to starting book 7, I'm also a little sad that the story's coming to an end. Without question, I will actively be seeking out more of Cassidy's books. Thanks for the ride :-)
The time travel plot was jarring as they just seemed to pop in and out with no concern for history. Why put an inexperienced traveller on a public train alone and then tell her not to interact with anyone.
All my favorite people in one book and their happy endings bring me lots of smiles. The teaser for the last book in the series has me a little concerned...
