When a terrifying dream leaves Eric with a familiar, urgent compulsion to get up and leave his home, he fears that he’s in for a frightful case of déjà vu. But what he finds waiting for him at the end of his long drive north is unlike anything he's yet seen. The Hedge Lake Triangle is a hotspot of paranormal activity claiming everything from mysterious disappearances and hauntings to UFOs and monster sightings. He’ll need all his wits and then some, because something unthinkable lurks beneath the surface of the lake and he only has until the rain falls to navigate the endless horrors and face the evil that awaits him at the bottom of the triangle. Book 4 in the Rushed series. Some adult content. Approximately 114,000 words.
Brian Harmon is an independent author of horror fiction, suspense and dark adventure. He grew up in Missouri and currently lives in Southern Wisconsin with his wife, Guinevere, and their three children.
I wish Harmon could write faster. :-) I just love everything he writes!
This book was a good addition to the series, although I would have hoped by now that Eric would be a little more prepared. He needs a pre-packed backpack with a Leatherman, extra phone, and some trail mix!
Seriously, these adventures are so interesting and I love Eric's goofy personality. He really is the perfect character to save the world.
Highly recommended; read them in order. No grammar issues that I found. Scary, but not inappropriate or overly gory.
Poor Eric can't seem to get a break. Aliens? Monsters? UFO's? I found this book to be constantly on the move with all kind of things trying to kill Eric. It has a nice twist to it. The other people in he book were fascinating with an almost perfect ending. The lake had all kinds of exciting, hair raising things going on. I gave Rushed: Hedge Lake a 4 1/2 review because, in my opinion, Karen should at least be a small part of the ending; such as seeing how Eric looks when he gets home from the battles. I also would like to have read Karen's reaction when Eric brings a new friend home.
This book was amazingly weird just like the first two. It was such a treat to read and I especially loved meeting spooky the mysterious cat. The whole Rushed series with its cast of characters, witches, ghosts, creepy monsters, etc is one of the best weirdest dream- like series you’ll ever read!
Yes I love Brian Harmon and his amazing books. This is the second time k read the rushed series and it's just as awesome as I remember it. This book will keep you on your toes from start to finish
OK. I dearly love the entire set of four books Mr. Harmon has written. I love the suspense, the humor, the thrills, the plot twists.
That being said, this was my least favorite book, precisely because I loved the first three. This book was far darker, more emotionally intense, and less exciting, actually, than the first three.
However, there were still LOL times, plot twists (although a bit more predictable this go around), and enough to keep me reading well past my bed time.
These books are truly amazing. I read true or books that could possibly be non fiction. I don't read anything that could be considered sci-fi. However, these changed me. A crazy unrealistic story that have a believable ending to them. I was enthralled by each one and await the next. Harmon's imagination is acutely inviting!!!
This is the 4th book of the series. I felt it dragged and was boring. I did like the ending though. Eric has another terrifying dream where he needs to go and leave his home for another adventure. The Hedge Lake triangle is like the Bermuda Triangle, where people disappear. There is paranormal activity and even a UFO, and monsters.
Second read through and I loved it more than the 1st time. I always pick up on little things the second time around. I have developed more questions that may have been answered in future books but can't remember. Onward I go through my reread of the series. Literally so much is connected and I love it!
Once I found this series I couldn't put it down. It's written very well and always easy to read. I zip through them and immediately start the next! I can't wait for the next book!!
Definitely a bit more twisted than the previous books. The characters were clever and the ghost got creepier as the story unfolded. I hope there is another book soon.
Very intense book in the series but things were left open at the end suggests a possibleanother book in the series.it was very exciting and a good thriller I recommend this series to everyone

Best one set. The spirits invasions into his mind were really creepy and entertaining. The monsters get better each book. However the villains aren't nearly as fun as the rest of the book.
This book in the rushed series really had me on the edge of my seat! It was so hard to put down and parts of it really actually scared me!! What a great job! Really liked it!
These books are really fun to read! They keep you on your toes and are really interesting. The characters are fun and entertaining. I recommend this book and the others in the Rush Series!
A rollercoaster of excitement. Creatures around every corner in shadows and even under water. A great novel to get lost in. Brian Harmon has a great way of keeping you on the edge of your seat.
Good read, but didn't like reviewing back history of Eric's quest. Loved the ending which took a totally different turn. Would recommend to all readers!
Mr. Harmon I would like to thank you for giving me something to look forward to everyday. I really enjoy disappearing in your stories. Life can really throw you curves.
