Auf einer tropischen Insel lebt der mysteriöse Tangata-Clan, dessen Mitglieder als Männer geboren werden. In zeremoniellen Kämpfen wird jedes Jahr entschieden, wer zukünftig eine weibliche Rolle einnehmen soll. Vollzogen wird diese Zuschreibung beim ersten Geschlechtsverkehr. Der Schwächste unter den Verlierern wird schließlich dem gegnerischen Miyaru-Clan – einem Volk, in dessen Adern Haiblut fließt – als Braut geopfert. Als eines Tages Avel, der die Tangatas einmal anführen soll, im Wald von einem Tier verletzt wird, kommt ihm Tukiri vom Miyaru-Clan zu Hilfe. Doch vom Blut aus Avels Wunde berauscht fällt Tukiri plötzlich über ihn her. Voller Panik sieht Avel seine Zukunft als Patriarch in Gefahr, kann sich jedoch der ungeahnten Lust, die er empfindet, nicht entziehen …

Ist für mich lowkey Omegaverse (auch wenn echte Fans das sicher nicht so sehen :D), aber es hat das Thema "Weibchen" mit drin und sowas... eh egal. Es war mainly Smut, es ist übrigens leider glow zensiert (außer der Hai-Double-Dong - yes, das kommt vor, es war ziemlich nice), und es ist auch sonst eigentlich sehr süß, neben dem ganzen Horny sein. Mh, das erste zusammentreffen könnte dubcon sein, aber es ist okay-ish. Und die Zeichnungen sind auch sonst ziemlich gut, wenn man auf seeeeehr muskulöse Kerle steht.

Normalerweise kann ich mit Shapeshifting umgehen, aber hier mit dem Hai-halb-Verwandeln und den zwei Penissen war das einfach weird für mich, so bisschen Beastiality? vibes, was unangenehm für mich war. Damit konnte ich einfach nicht umgehen, obwohl der Rest okay war haha.

Mir hat die Geschichte ganz gut gefallen. Und auch wie die Unterschiede in den Clans thematisiert werden, und auch akzeptiert.

Avel und Tukiri sind sympathische Protagonisten und man hofft, dass sie trotz ihrer Umstände glücklich miteinander werden können. Eine schöne Geschichte über Liebe und Unterschiedlichen als auch Akzeptanz.

Der Zeichenstil hat mir auch gefallen. Schön sauber und klar strukturierte Szenen.

I really needed some fun smut after having a bad day and this delivered exactly that. The story is really nothing too praiseworthy and I thought it was weird that they basically had omegaverse adjacent dynamics, but the bottoms were called "women" all the while actual women still exist in this universe, but still, it was fun. The main couple is cute and hot and I love how sexy this was and especially that it wasn’t afraid to really get into some weird shit with the shark transformation.

This is one of the most fun manga I’ve read in a while.

1. Thicc uke (Abel) and thicc seme (Touriki) (but not as thicc as the uke, unf).
2. 60% of the book is the two of them having sexy times. Approve.
3. Their ~drama is not super-dramatique and wasn’t long and drawn out.
4. Boy I just really love Abel.
