Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.

Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.

So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo

Jenna nursed her sister's child while her sister was away, now she is lactating and needs release after the baby is reunited with the mom. Jenna needs a place to stay and that brings her to Cal her ex-stepfather(he was never intimate with her mother ) and a cowboy with a ranch. They meet again and sparks instantly fly. Short, steamy, lactation kink, milking kink, romantic, safe and with a sweet HEA 😍😍

For the safety readers -- Hero and heroines mom knew each other as kids. They made a marriage pact in seventh grade. Decades later, they run into each other and make it happen.

The Hero and heroine are, at least it's implied they were, mutually attracted to one another during this marriage. The mom, deciding she wanted out because the Hero is a good guy and she's, apparently, allergic to that, lies -- and self-inflicts bruises -- that the Hero is abusive. He gets locked up, divorce happens, the Mom moves on.

We are told, from the Hero himself, that he never touched the mom in an intimate way.

Would I recommend it? Hmmm 🤔💭🤔 Honestly I'm not sure. I read a lot of different genres. I can read anything, Nothing gets to me. But this book was just to much OTT, Everything about this book was just cringe. I guess it wasn't my cup of tea.

Step-Tease, part of the Wanting What's Wrong series, was about 18-year-old Jenna and Cade Burton (Blurb said his name was Cade, but Cal was the name that the book used. Also, his age was never specifically given. The only knowledge about that was the fact that he was near to or the same age as Jenna's mother because of the pact they made to marry one another at 30. Since Jenna had an older sister, we know their mom had to be over 30, so the same could be true about Cal.)

Cade/Cal had been married to Jenna's mother before the book started The reader quickly learned in Chapter 1 that the marriage was never consummated., but it didn't last long. Cade/Cal and his (now) ex had made a pact when they were in high school that if they were both still single at 30, they'd marry each other. Unknown whether or not he took it seriously, they met in Vegas by accident and ended up married. It doesn't say how long before the book began that this took place, but it does say that he had just gotten out of jail after serving six months for a trumped-up domestic violence charge by the FMC's mom. Jenna ended up going to stay with him after her mom's most recent boyfriend slugged her in the face as she tried to shield her mother from his violence.

This book had very little about it that made any sense. Normally, a story has an A to B to C strategy. Not this one. It was all over the place...and not in a good way. I meandered so much that it soon became confusing. The FMC definitely didn't act like an 18-year-old girl, and the MMC had no depth to him at all. They were strictly one-dimensional and lacked development of any sort.

There were aspects of this book I can't say I was all that interested in...like the gun play. Sorry, but for me, that's just a bit too dangerous, and I don't like reading about it. The ball gag is another kink I can live without. All I can think about regarding that is choking on my own vomit from not being able to expel it due to the gag...and I would because of my uncontrollable gag reflex.

This book was just completely uncomfortable. I'm certain others will (and do) like it, but I just couldn't connect with any of the characters. I only gave it a half-star rating, rounded up to one. Ugh...I'm glad this series is done.

I wasn’t too sure if this short novella would have much plot and I’m happy to report it does. Don’t get me wrong there is a ton of spice later on, don’t you worry. First off I LOVE Granny. She said “you look decent enough. Your mother’s a right cunt, though” 🤣💀 I love sassy old ladies who spew the truth left and right. Cal is ALL man and the way he was there with open arms when Jenna showed up even though her mother did what she did melted my heart. Unfortunately, It started to get super cringy the more intimate they got. So much “daddy” that I got annoyed. I kind of wish it wasn’t like that and they had a cute romance but that’s not the type of books this is 🤣

I have a hard time just trying to put in words WTF was that book. SPOILED ALERT BIG TIME. the whole story and I mean whole story is a girl that leaves her mom's house bc it was bad there and go to her EX step-father house I'll let you read if you want to know why he is a ex step father. But this whole time she is producing breast milk so much she has to pump and they hurt but GUESS WHAT SHE NEVER HAD A CHILD OR WAS PREGNANT. But the whole story about the breat milk how he loves and must feed him the best milk and very controlling. I love me some forbidden romances but this one was too much

Wow. I love this author and am always surprised by how she comes up with her stories. I'm always choosing to skip sleep to see how her stories end. Great spice, steamy scenes and a dark storyline. I'm loving this series and working my way thru reading them all. Heck my housework can wait until I've finished them right??? I'm off to see if there are any I've missed.

Loved all the details

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I just wish it was longer! Very hot and spicy and it didn't take long to get that way either. Definitely not a story for someone not into hucow/ANR, but if you are, this is a must read.
