The Twelve Dates Of Christmas

Rate this book
Twelve dates. One unforgettable Christmas. A second chance at the love that never left.

Elena Hart is officially done with dating. After a broken engagement and a burnout-fueled career break, she’s back on Palmar Island to housesit her aunt’s cozy cottage and avoid holiday drama at all costs. Love, she’s decided, just isn’t in the cards.

But Jesse Winslow has other plans.

Her childhood best friend—and the boy she once shared cocoa and sea glass dreams with—makes her a bold offer. Twelve dates before Christmas Eve to prove that love is still worth believing in. Each date is festive, unexpected, and far too close to the kind of magic Elena gave up on long ago.

As the days count down and the twinkle lights shine brighter, Elena begins to wonder if the love she’s been searching for was always waiting quietly, right by her side.

Sweet, nostalgic, and full of small-town charm, The Twelve Dates of Christmas is a cozy holiday romance about finding your way home. And the heart that’s been waiting for you all along.

a pleasure
Reading Susanne´s books is always a pleasure and a welcome escape when I think I´m drowning in the harsh realities life sometimes confronts us with. It seems like everybody is in need of a Jesse once in a while, not only around christmas time but the holiday season surely adds it´s own magic to the mix.

Love Right In Front of You

Elena and Jesse have years of friendship behind them. Now that she's back on Palmar Island, it gives Jesse a second chance at furthering their adult relationship. Once again Miss Doris works her matchmaking magic, and the happily ever after is in the making. Another sweet romance in the series.

A lovely story about old friends and the hopes for romance. Love isn’t always smooth, but the journey is interesting nonetheless. Beautiful descriptions of the natural beauty of their location locations as well as snatches of small town living that makes you yearn for your own Palmer Island.

One has to give Jesse credit, he is persistent, oh, and in love. Susanne Ash has given us a story with interesting characters and story line, humor, romance and a twist or two. Jesse is innovative in finding new and interesting dates for him and Elena. I enjoyed this book.

This was a very sweet read.

In this story, Elana comes home to an east coast island after losing her job in the city. She spends twelve dates catching up with the boy she left behind. This is a sweet, romantic read.

The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Susanne Ash is a sweet best friends to lovers romance set in Palmer Island at Christmas. The novella was really sweet and I enjoyed the 12 dates. I did find some of the conflict conversations between the two characters repetitive. While this is part of a series, I read this book (book 8) and did not feel lost or needing more information. This was a sweet one and I’ll likely read more from this series next December.
