Rate this book
Betrayal broke them. Fate reunited them. Now, they're on the run—with enemies closing in and a fire between them that refuses to die.

Once, Alexander had everything—power, privilege, a future steeped in blood and glory. Now, exiled and hunted, he has only one goal: find his missing sister before his enemies do. But when fate reunites him with Aya, the woman he loved and lost, he’ll risk everything to win her back—even if it means rekindling a love that could destroy them both.

About the author

Sarah Jamet

Sarah Jamet has been writing stories since she was eight years old and realised she could get away with killing off characters and calling it “plot development.” She hasn’t stopped since. A chronic daydreamer and world-builder, she writes emotionally intense, often vengeful tales—usually starring women with scars, secrets, and absolutely zero chill.

When she’s not busy killing off beloved characters, Sarah works as a product owner in IT, where she wrangles software developers instead of outlaws. Somehow, this makes her just organised enough to plot full-length novels, but still chaotic enough to forget where she put her coffee.

She lives in France with her dog (who thinks he’s a sidekick), her son (who thinks he’s the protagonist), and her husband (who’s just hoping not to be written into a book).

I really liked Alex’s development in this and that we found out that he was never really interested in taking over his Grandfather’s place as King. Caroline(Alex’s sister), I don’t think there’s much to say for now as she was still as spoilt as ever, but I think there’s a reason for that and she might get her own story and probably become a better person by finding her purpose. Overall the Night siblings could find a better future for themselves

As with Aya, I admired her strength and her ability to overcome her hate towards Alex since he was the once who forced her into becoming a vampire.

Overall, Ana amazing story and I can’t wait to see the next book which if I’m not wrong is going to be about Rose and Demetrius!
