This was wonderful. I read it in a garden eating olives and letting the birds peck at the flowers below my feet, and literally did not take my eyes off the pages until I finished it.
I don't usually enjoy short stories, but I found that knowing each character, adoring them and having that context of reading ABM, A&M and Horns For Hell meant that this was an lovely experience. Put those guys in situations!
Some of the stories were more canonical and structured and others were 'playing' with the characters in different worlds or timelines. I liked this very much, as well as how the paperback was formatted to explain which were more canon and which weren't. Formatting was just gorgeous in general...
'Eden memories' was my absolute favourite of the stories, as well as the part of the retelling concerning Eve and Adam and their children. I would sell my soul for a Cain novella.
but honestly, this is what i missed from the second book even though i gave it like 4,5 stars. there were some short stories that gave me some answers to my open questions. and some more tears 😭
i think i'll love everything that rafael nicolás writes ❤️🙏🏻
The perfect little (okay maybe not that little but still) book to read to get more insight and just some fun moments with characters from the main series. Very nice, also the cover is literally gorgeous. Just a few spelling errors that are noticeable at times, other than that, 10/10!
Every time I think I can make it through an Angels book without crying, Rafael comes out with a crowbar to my knees. And I will thank them for it every time as I limp away.
