the pain this book caused and the yearning i was going through while reading is absolutely diabolical 😩 book one was pure aura farming !! book two is simply a masterpiece !! you can truly feel the characters in this book. with everything they’ve been through, harry and gigi’s story holds a meaning of fighting for the people you love and for what you think is right. gigi didn’t have to suffer so that her people could survive just a bit longer. she could’ve ran away the moment she found out in book one. but she still stayed. her growth is one of my favorite things !! she slowly but surely found her way back to the light 🤍 this book dove deeper into harry’s backstory … let me just say i simply sobbed every time harry’s pov came up 😭 as if i couldn’t love him any more ?! he is the actually definition of quiet yearning and falling in love over and over again. the back and forth, push and pull harry was going through in this book was something that just felt so raw and relatable. he is a man in love and nothing will stop him from getting the love of his life back 🖤

WDYM ITS OVER 😭😭😭😭
This book took me on the biggest roller coaster, after waiting for what seemed forever for more Harry and Gigi, we were instantly thrown right back into the thick of it. And when i wasnt sure if i could love them anymore, Sophie proved me wrong. We were immediately thrown right back into the trauma, right back into the whirlwind that is Gigi and Harry. This duet is absolutely everything and i will die on that hill. This book was literal perfection.
I came out of this book loving Harry even more than i did in book 1, his yearning was everything. The way he would literally burn the whole world down for Gigi was perfection. He's everything. Brooding, posessive, broken that the girl he loves isn't choosing him, and we see a slightly more vunerable side to him this time round which i loved.
Maybe in our reality I’ll always be forced to love her from a distance. A reality where she’ll never be mine, only ever someone else’s. - Harry
Gigi is her usual fiesty self, but behind closed doors she broken. Broken for her loved ones, broken for what she endures and most of all, broken for everything she's had to give up.
When all Harry wants is for Gigi to run straight back into his arms, all Gigi can do is tell Harry every single reason why she shouldn't, and avoid the actual truth. Gigi has secrets to hide and lies to tell... Their journey in book 2 is just as messy as the first, complicated, messy and forbidden, but its also real, and raw... unfiltered. Their unwavering love has never been whats pulled them closer, its always been whats pulled them apart.
Their ending was amazing, I loved how everything panned out for them. I legit cried for about half an hour after i finished, because WDYM ITS OVER?! I am never going to get over them. There was many many tears, my heart was in my throat so many times. I was so scared..
it was an emotional read for me, i have such a connection with these characters,
gasps, panty melting spice, so many omg moments. I laughed alot too... some of the banter between Harry & Gigi had me howling. The way everything came together perfectly at the end, full circle. I couldn't of wished for a better outcome. And Lies was everything i could of ever hoped for, and more.
The plot, the twists, the tension and spice was again top tier. Those spicy scenes always live rent free, because those two are absolute FIRE.

I am dead excited for Poppy's book, and anything Sophie writes. This book is a complete mixture of everything i adore in a dark romance, and Sophie delivered another fantastic read.

although there are ‘lies’, ‘secrets’ and betrayal from literally every angle, there is ferocity, love, loyalty and a world that will be burnt down at any risk of harm between either one.
the love that gigi & harry both have for each other is like no other and there is NOT A SINGLE THING they wouldn’t do for each other.
usually, it’s the mmc who will tear the whole world down, but there is nothing gigi also wouldn’t do in order to protect harry, even if it means hurting him in the process as well as risking herself❤️🔥
lies is the perfect follow on from sophie’s debut ‘secrets’ which is available on kindle unlimited and a requirement to read before diving into ‘lies’.

The long-awaited continuation of a duet I got pulled into last year definitely didn’t disappoint. I have to say, Sophie Grace outdid herself with this one — because let me tell you, it’s even better than her debut, Secrets.
If I had to describe Lies in three words, they would be SHOCKING, EMOTIONAL, and ADDICTIVE.
It still amazes me how strong Gigi is and how far she’ll go once she sets her mind on something — while Harry, on the other hand, seems perfectly content to watch the world burn by her hands, even if it burns him too.
This story has it all: the spice, the twists you never saw coming, and above all, love.
I’m so glad I got to be part of their world for the second year in a row — and if you haven’t read this duet yet, please do yourself a favor and dive in. You won’t regret it! 💫

After that first book left us hanging, I literally was dying waiting for more of Harry & Gigi! But with all the secrets and lies floating around, what will happen next? I don’t want to spoil anything, but this duet has me in love and I will say I definitely cried a few times reading this book! The twists in this kept me on the edge of my seat and I definitely wasn’t expecting some of them! I absolutely devoured this book and love Harry & Gigi so freaking much! The journey has been long and twisty, but their love is so evident.

This man is the kind of obsessed and unhinged I could read and re-read for a lifetime. Actually yup II think I will. Now that is decided let me. Give you a glimpse of just what I mean……..
“Call me delusional. Call me fucking psychotic. Christ, call me anything. But just promise me that one day you'll call me hers.”
Gigi is both vulnerable and tough as hell. She could easily decided to either shoot a man where he stands Or sacrifice herself for this man. Really anyone she cares for but that list is short after what life has dealt her. But really when I say she would do anything for Harry I do mean anything. While she carries this hope and love inside of her she also harbors a darkness she keeps locked down tight. But really sometimes a girl just needs to go off the deep end a cause some much needed harm to people. Good thing Harry knows how to reel her back to the light-ish.
"They deserve every shred of the monster you're afraid of."
"Don't forget what you're capable of," I say. "I'll bring you back from the darkness."
This book is definitely darker than Secrets but also and I say this as someone who LOVES every page of Secrets - it’s even better!!!!! It has a lighter and brighter ending but dont let that fool you. That doesn’t mean that their story is meant to end in all sunshine and rainbows either. It is perfect for Harry and Gigi though.

I actually didn’t want this book to end, i was actually deliberately reading it slow to savour every bit.
This book made me feel every emotion, I was laughing, crying, screaming and mad.
What a rollercoaster! The twists and turns and secrets had me so hooked.
I absolutely adored Gigi & Harry’s story and it’s bittersweet that it’s come to an end but i can’t wait to see what comes next!
I cannot express with words how much i love Harry St James he will always be one of my favourite book boyfriends!
Gigi is so badass and will continue to be one of my favourite fmc’s but wow at times i was screaming at her. As always i adored the chemistry between G+H they are just everything, the tension and angst between them urgh.
I adore pretty much all of the side characters in their own ways.
This book is literally packed with drama, action, suspense, plot twists and spice like i was never not entertained!!
I can’t wait for poppy’s book and more to come in this universe.

Wow.. just absolutely wow…..to think book one was intense nothing compares to book 2 i loved everything about this book. I was feeling every emotion while reading it as if I could feel how both harry and Gigi were feeling every time. Gosh the emotions in this one. A wild emotional roller coaster my heart was breaking for harry and Gigi. everything Gigi was going through and feeling all so she could keep harry protected and safe it was all just slowly was breaking her apart. She knew there was no living in a world harry wasn’t in. And god poor harry he just wanted the girl of his dreams he just wanted to love her and hold her and give her the world he’d do anything for her he’d burn the world down just to bring her back to him that she was safe. I loved watching their journey together all the ups and downs the banter the jokes watching the love between them grow the struggles. Also this big surprise in this not what I expected but also loved!!!! And the side characters were amazing too absolutely everything about this was an amazing read and I’m honored have been able to arc read this book ❤️

I have been waiting from the moment I closed book one for this day to come.
Did book two hit the spot?
ABSOLUTELY!!!
I knew diving into book two was going to be suspenseful, fast paced and have us on the edge of our seats as we finally start to unpack all the secrets we wanted to know.
On the edge of my seat is an understatement to what I was feeling while reading this book, the nerves…..
Oh the damn nerves!

I knew diving into book two was going to be suspenseful, fast paced and have us on the edge of our seats as we finally start to unpack all the secrets we wanted to know.
On the edge of my seat is an understatement to what I was feeling while reading this book, the nerves…..

buckle up because what a rollercoaster this was!! i can't believe it's over 😭😭
this book had me crying, going "what the hell?!?", trying to piece everything together and jumping around screaming "i knew it!!". honestly few times i wasn't sure how it would all turn out okay because the things these characters go through are A LOT 💔
secrets unravel (pun intended) and i was thinking back to things that happened in the first book in new light with all this new information. made me wanna reread it again!
oh how harry is just utterly obsessed with gigi 😩 he would do anything and everything for her. but gigi for harry too. they can try fight it all they want but there is no one else for them.
your honor i just love both of them and the love they have for each other 😭🖤

I was so happy to be back in this world — I missed Harry and Gigi so much 🥹
I flew through this book! there was always something happening. So many secrets and lies kept me hooked and desperate to know more! Both Gigi and Harry are such strong people and absolutely perfect for each other. I loved how they fought for one another over and over again and I could really feel their love through the pages, it was both beautiful and heartbreaking when someone then forced them apart☹️
And Harry… his mouth 🤰🏼 I’d sign my life over to him in a heartbeat. Tall, dark hair, tattoos — honestly, everything about him 🧎🏼♀️🧎🏼♀️

Holy crap! If you thought book one was intense, this book took it to another level!
The plot just gets more insane and the trials that both Harry and Gigi go through just broke my heart. Richard is still manipulative b*stard and they both have to figure out how to play his game while fighting and finding their feelings for each other. I don't want to give too much away, but I literally gasped and had to get up and walk around reading this. Multiple times.
If you want a book to break you apart and put you back together, this is it.

🌹okay this book was such an experience! First of all thank you sophie for the chance to arc read another one of your book, I loved this duet so much and I'm so happy that I got to be back with gigi and harry in the world of London's most notorious crime🤭 You seriously broke my heart and stepped on all of the fragments whilst wearing studded boots with this one because I was so sad for gigi and harry for what they had to go through both individually and as a couple, I'm really glad they got their happily ever after it was probably the most deserved one ever haha
Gigi you poor girl ahh I want to fucking murder Richard and Jamie for what they did, she had to go through so much and I felt like the whole book I was waiting for her to stop letting it happen and snap back to her insanity and when she finally did i was screaming inside, no one messes with her and gets away with it and harry definitely saw to that. I love that man so much he would literally die for gigi despite the pain she put him through in trying to keep him safe, he's so hot AND he's emotionally mature which is all a girl could ask for, and he's so morally gray there's basically no morals anymore but we love an unhinged mmc🤭 I'm so happy we got to see mia again too! The reason why I've put the book at four stars is because I feel like there were times where the story was a bit disjointed, and I had to go back a couple pages to try and figure out how the characters got to where they were. I also think that considering the ending of book 1 and the trope labelling them as enemies to begin with in book two there wasn't any of that rivalry or hatred that I was looking for and the story just kind of started with an argument and then gigi was openly back in love with harry. I enjoyed Secrets (book one of this duology), but there was always that tiny spark missing, something I couldn’t quite name. Well, Sophie must’ve found it, bottled it, and poured it straight into Lies, because this finale? Absolutely delivered.
This book had me on the edge of my seat, heart in my throat, occasionally screaming “I KNEW IT” at the pages like a madwoman. It’s fast-paced, deliciously tense, and somehow manages to be both heartbreaking and healing.
Let’s talk Harry St. James-our broody, “I will burn the world for her” MMC. 🖤 The man is obsession personified. Through the flashback scenes, seeing how hard he fell (and how early) gave such depth to his character. The glimpse into his pre-Circle life was chef’s kiss perfection. I loved watching him evolve from the reckless man we met to someone who’s not only who Gigi wants but who she needs. His unwavering love and belief in her shine through here in a way that felt missing in the first book. Harry in Lies? Proof that obsession done right can be utterly irresistible.
And then there’s Gigi. I’ll admit, she grated on me a bit in Secrets, her choices didn’t always make sense, and I found her frustrating. But now I see what Sophie was doing. In Lies, Gigi comes into her power. She’s fierce, loyal, and her strength is breathtaking. This girl goes through absolute hell emotionally, physically, mentally and still gets back up every single time. Her love for Harry mirrors his in that beautifully chaotic, toxic-but-somehow-perfect way that just works for them. They’re messy. They’re magnetic. They’re magic.

I enjoyed Secrets (book one of this duology), but there was always that tiny spark missing, something I couldn’t quite name. Well, Sophie must’ve found it, bottled it, and poured it straight into Lies, because this finale? Absolutely delivered.
This book had me on the edge of my seat, heart in my throat, occasionally screaming “I KNEW IT” at the pages like a madwoman. It’s fast-paced, deliciously tense, and somehow manages to be both heartbreaking and healing.
Let’s talk Harry St. James-our broody, “I will burn the world for her” MMC. 🖤 The man is obsession personified. Through the flashback scenes, seeing how hard he fell (and how early) gave such depth to his character. The glimpse into his pre-Circle life was chef’s kiss perfection. I loved watching him evolve from the reckless man we met to someone who’s not only who Gigi wants but who she needs. His unwavering love and belief in her shine through here in a way that felt missing in the first book. Harry in Lies? Proof that obsession done right can be utterly irresistible.
And then there’s Gigi. I’ll admit, she grated on me a bit in Secrets, her choices didn’t always make sense, and I found her frustrating. But now I see what Sophie was doing. In Lies, Gigi comes into her power. She’s fierce, loyal, and her strength is breathtaking. This girl goes through absolute hell emotionally, physically, mentally and still gets back up every single time. Her love for Harry mirrors his in that beautifully chaotic, toxic-but-somehow-perfect way that just works for them. They’re messy. They’re magnetic. They’re magic.

🥺 I have no words!!! WOW 🤩 I absolutely loved this book! I was rendered speechless though out the whole book and the amount of times I screamed, cried, laughed, giggled and kicked me feet 🤭 my god!
The characters are so well written, the emotions I physically felt in my gut and heart! My little brain is screaming ITS NOT REAL!!! But my heart is all Ahhhhh nooooo whyyy yessss noooo 💔💔💔
I felt it in my bones! And being able to see the love coming from so many and unfortunately the hate and pain from others 😫 i love to see real life situations placed in books because it shines light on some difficult situations for a lot of people and I feel like Sophie really got her point across!! The underline message of domestic violence and abuse a lot of women face in this world!!

I love a feisty and powerful woman in all books!! To see GiGi grow from the shy girl who had dark thoughts in book 1 all the way to a badass queen in book 2 and yes you see her suffer but a queen never falls for long when you have the devil behind you helping you see the hire you have and what you can burn with it!!

Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love Secrets any more than I already did, Sophie released Lies...and absolutely blew me away again!
I really loved Harry from the very beginning of Secrets, so I enjoyed getting to read Harry's backstory in Lies. It made me understand him as an MMC even more once I learned about all of the trials he went through before finding The Circle. To be honest, it only made me love the man more. Borderline obsessive, truly.
But alongside getting to know Harry better, I really enjoyed Gigi's character arc in Lies. From the very beginning, she's forced to process many traumatic events in a short span of time, and she overcomes a lot in herself and in her relationships/friendships with others. Her physical movements throughout the story, mixed with her emotional turmoil, really show her growth as a woman, a person, and as a fiercely brave FMC.
I felt genuine hatred for certain characters in certain parts of the story. I felt emotional during several intense moments (even crying over our leading fictional couple's fate that literally has nothing to do with me 🤣). And the absolute SHOCK I felt from those PLOT TWISTS, ma'am! Everything truly comes full circle (no pun intended-maybe...), and all the loose ends and questions that we were left with at the cliffhanger ending of Secrets get all tied up and answered in the intense ending of Lies!
I am very sad that this duet marks the end of Harry St. James and Gigi Thomas' love story, but I am PUMPED to read what's coming next!!!

Lies picked up right where Secrets left off and it so desperately gave me what I needed for Gigi and Harry’s story. You learn that there is so much more to Harry’s story and Gigi gets the answers that she needs. Gigi and Harry both deserved so much more than what their world dealt them and the character development in this book was phenomenal!
The way Sophie Grace is able to balance such a heavy plot that will have your emotions on a roller coaster and capture the yearning and connection Gigi and Harry have for each other was perfection! And let’s not forget that spice because it was good! 🔥 The way Gigi and Harry risked it all to be together. These two are the definition of of meant to be. 🖤🖤🖤

Sophie took us on a serious roller Coaster with this book and I didn't think I would make it out the other side.
The love Harry St James and Gigi have is raw, powerful and damn right heartbreaking. The pain and suffering they endure to sacrifice themselves for one another is devastating.
Harry St James broke my heart several times, the way his chest cracks wide open when he thinks his lost Gigi but no matter how many times she keeps him at arms length he always shows up, forgetting his pain, his loss just so he can save her.
Gigi, suffers so much to protect Harry when he doesn't even know it, she suffers more then any woman should, she starts to slip away but Harry pulls her back even when he doesn't know it. I loved seeing Gigi get her spark back and being the feisty woman we know she is.
Poppy, I went from hating her in Secrets to absolutely loving her in Lies and I can't wait to see if we get more of her story.

I was very kindly given this as an arc for my honest review and as always all opinions are completely my own 🤍
This was interesting to say the least! When I first read the first book I didn’t know what to think of it because I found the fmc annoying however the setting and storyline and the mmc was amazing! And overall I did enjoy it so I was excited to get my hands on this!
Overall I had a good time, the plot really thickened and you got alot of reveals and torment in this! In terms of plot, I loved it! It broke my heart seeing Gigi in such a position after everything she had already experienced and it made my heart hurt for her. I think she had a reality check in this which made her a way more likeable character! I think she was on a power trip in the first book 🤣
The only aspects I didn’t really get in this was just small plot holes that didn’t make sense, for example the mmc goes into hiding but makes regular contact with those in the circle and has no idea what Gigi is doing or where she is? How? You’re talking to her friends? Just ask them? Similarly, when Gigi is going through certain ordeals, everyone keeps it a secret, which I just don’t get why they did that at all?
Overall though I had a good time, I’m excited to see what else Sophie has up her sleeve 💅🏼

first of all thank you for letting me get this arc and secondly I want to say how amazing this book is it literally has everything the banter, morally grey man, betrayal and secret society and drama and such more don't get me started on my man Harry omg Harry I love you Harry is a man that I pray for every night bc wdym he kills for her he is smart rebellious doesn't give a shit about anything he would do anything to protect gigi that's why he kept those secrets then Gigi at first u were insufferable then you became this badass chick like damn you're not gonna let a man control you and u always had to put yourself in every situation no matter the outcome you are so fierce and I love it and I did love that stunt that you did back in the headquarters genius and for Richard, Jamie omg I hated them in every part of my bones the things they did pmo so much but leaving it at that but overall this book was fantastic and everyone should read it when it come out today and remember read secrets as well bc it does leave off of a cliff hanger.
