She’s trying to find herself … he’s looking for the one.
Joshua Wreckingham-Smythe, Chunk to his friends, is on the hunt for a guard dog. But he’s also been looking for The One for a while now. At the local dog shelter, he finds both — the perfect puppy and the woman of his dreams.
The trouble is, after escaping an abusive ex, Grace Dillon doesn’t even know her own drink order, let alone what to do with her life. She absolutely does not want to date — and she can’t let go of the puppy she’s fallen for, either. Not even to the frustratingly hot, breathtakingly kind, mountain of a man who seems to read her thoughts.
Striking up a friendship, Joshua offers to help Grace in her quest to find herself. And, when a sizzling night in the forest adds benefits to the deal, it’s clear that she needs to discover what she likes in bed, too. Grace soon learns he’ll give her whatever she wants … she just needs to ask for it. But can Joshua ask for what he wants?
After all, it’s not just a puppy he’s hoping to take home.
Take You Home is the third book in The Wreck and Bull Series, but it can be read as a standalone. It contains mature content and is intended for readers over eighteen.
Oh my god. I loved this book so so much. It was sweet, emotional and contains an MMC who falls in love from the very first moment.

Joshua, aka Chunk, is the greenest of green flags. How can a man be so perfect and can he be real please. He was so patient with Grace, helping her decide what she wanted for herself. God it was beautiful.
Grace is learning to find herself after getting out of a toxic relationship and honestly the moment she meets Joshua… you just know 😍 Their chemistry was amazing and the relationship grew so wonderfully.
Obviously I can’t forget Poppy, our princess 😍 She was the cutest and made for a great addition to this story.
Everything about this book made me so happy, the characters, the plot.. it was really good.
Overall, this book is a delicious slow burn where they also help each other out 😏 I adored Joshua and Grace, their story was so heartfelt.
This book was an absolute freaking delight from start to finish. It made me so happy. There were really intense bits, emotional bits, tough bits, and really sweet bits. It made me giggle, guffaw, scream, gasp, and cry. I am in love!
Grace is a woman who has just left a bad relationship & now needs to build herself a life from scratch and find out who she is.
Joshua/Chunk is a veteran from a fancy family who has chosen his own path and now owns his own outdoor adventure business.
They meet when he comes to the puppy rescue/pet store where she works. It is immediate interest & attraction on both sides but she is not even sort of in the place for anything. He recognizes that & gives her space. They start spending time together & become closer & develop a friends with benefits situation. While also developing some very real feelings. It is so good!
Grace is so sweet, unsure & hurt. Her ex emotionally & physically harmed her repeatedly for years, so she has a lot to unpack, learn, heal, unlearn, & become. She will break your heart while also making you scream & cheer for every single victory & step forward she makes.
Joshua is possibly the sweetest man to ever man. He is supportive, protective, safe, kind, and gorgeous. But he also has his own stuff. He has trash family who treat him terribly & watching him learn to share that & accept help is beautiful.
These two together? Gorgeous. Stunning. I adore them. ADORE! Rhey are a book couple that just make me so happy they found each other & that they both learned to trust & accept what the other had to give because they make each other's lives richer. Sigh.
I only recently started reading Cherry Keeley's books but I am already such a fan. My brain loves the way she writes her characters & stories and the heart that is behind them.
I received this as an ARC and am so, so grateful. My review is based on the content & quality of the story.
I was lucky enough to Alpha, Beta, Sensitivity and ARC read with wonderful book.
I had been waiting on the edge of my seat to finally find out Chunk’s name and read his love story. This book was everything it needed to be. It told a story of finding out who you are, finding love, finding your family, finding love from dogs, forever friendships that last, even when you haven’t spoken in a decade. It’s love and forgiveness in so many ways.
Chunk has been on the lookout for “the one” he wouldn’t settle for anything less. This is what I personally love by too, and I loved that about him. He knew the moment he met Grace that she was ‘it’ but he also saw pain and wanted to help her. He’s the greenest flag, with the most tender of hearts with the filthiest mouth.
Grace had been through a lot in her little life, losing her mum young, being trapped in a relationship due to grief and a narcissist taking advantage of that, controlling her and trying to dull her sparkle. She found her way to escape and went to her best friend for solace. She bonded with dogs for affection. She met Chunk. He was kind and made her feel safe, which was everything for her. She met Nate and Ella who became fast friends, who also helped her in their own way.
I loved the journey both these characters went on, they helped each other heal for various reasons and they fell in love.
Cherry, this book is simply amazing and thank you for letting me part of the journey. Can’t wait until the next instalment!!
Take You Home by Cherry Keeley 5/5 Stars She’s trying to find herself … he’s looking for The One. Cherry Keeley delivers another knockout romance with Take You Home, and I am obsessed. Joshua Wreckingham-Smythe, aka Chunk, is the definition of a cinnamon roll MMC: big, gentle, utterly swoon worthy, and completely gone for Grace from the very first moment. He’s just looking for a guard dog… and maybe, just maybe, the woman he’s been dreaming of. Turns out he finds both at the local dog shelter. Grace Dillon, on the other hand, is in the middle of putting herself back together after escaping an abusive relationship. She doesn’t even know her own coffee order yet, never mind what she wants in a man. She’s not ready for romance, but she’s definitely not letting go of the puppy she falls for… even if it means clashing with the frustratingly hot man who claims he saw her first. Their reluctant connection blossoms into friendship, then a friends with benefits arrangement that sizzles, and when I say 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️, I mean FIVE. Keeley nails the slow burn meets explosive payoff, with Joshua patiently giving Grace the space (and the passion) to rediscover herself in every sense. He falls first, he falls hard, and he’s the kind of man who will give her anything, if she can only learn to ask. The character development is top-tier, with Grace’s journey toward confidence handled with so much care, and Joshua’s steadfast devotion making my heart ache in the best way. The banter is warm, the steam is chef’s kiss, and the writing is so good I’m already adding the first two books in the series to my Kindle. If you love cinnamon roll heroes, FWB setups, and romances that make you swoon and blush, Take You Home belongs at the top of your TBR.

Oh my god - Cherry Keeley knocked it out the park with this one. Grace arrives in Oldton escaping from a toxic relationship, finding refuge with an old friend running a dog shelter. Cherry did such a wonderful job of taking us on the journey Grace goes on as she finds herself again, rediscovering her sass and wit. We also learn more and more about just how bad things were in her relationship, realising as Grace does that maybe it was more than just toxic. There were so many subtle signs- like struggling to make decisions - that shone a light on what had happened. Grace is helped on her journey by Joshua - or Chunk as we knew him in previous books. I loved how hard he fell for Grace straight away, but also that he respected her and her wishes to take things slow. There was some mind blowing spicy scenes that had me wanting to book a tree house stay with the husband STAT. Their relationship developed beautifully and they both got opportunities to be there for one another, showing how perfectly balanced and matched they are. Cherry also included a mention of the british icon Daddies Sauce, which honestly is enough on its own to make it a 5 star read.
This is the ultimate he falls first romance. I loved that Joshua knew Grace was the one from the moment he met her and that he was willing to be whatever she needed him to be in her life. I also appreciated that it was spicy and that Grace became sassier and more flirtatious with Joshua through finding herself with his help. I will definitely be reading more books by this author. Thank you to author Cherry Keeley for the opportunity to read this book early. It truly was a pleasure to read.
Pulled at my heart. Chunks' book is FINALLY here and what an amazing book it is. I didn't think Cherry could top Scott's book in Set You Free but she did it. It feels like I've been waiting forever for him but he's here to join the Wreck and Bull boys. Our FMC Grace is trying to get her life back on track after a break-up and thanks to her friends trying to find where she belongs. What she isn't expecting is the gorgeous ex-military MMC Chunk who is looking for a new guard dog(poppy) for his business. What Grace needs to realise is that Poppy isn't the only thing he's got his eye on.
Well, Grace and Joshua's story was just lovely (IYKYK). I love me a down bad MMC, and Joshua/Chunk DELIVERS in that regard. I love an FMC who has the courage to leave a toxic situation and start over; enter Grace. Their attraction is instant, but so is Grace's hesitance to be in a romantic relationship too soon (understandable, and even commendable). Joshua is eager to find The One, and confident he has found her in Grace, he exercises patience and presence as she works through her healing. He offers friendship—and then something a little more than friendship as they, erm, collaborate to help Grace figure out what she likes in bed—but he never rushes her or pressures her into a romantic relationship, leaving it to her to make her choice.
As with the first book in the series, I would say this is more character-driven than plot-driven, and Cherry Keeley does a superb job portraying each character's emotional growth. And once again, the spice be SPICIN' here. 🥵
I also really appreciated the hard of hearing representation. Hearing loss is such a wide spectrum of experience, and sometimes it can feel like most of the representation skews toward the culturally Deaf. I kind of get it; sign language is a little sexier than hearing aids and lip reading :), and to be clear, culturally Deaf people absolutely deserve representation, too. I just think that sometimes people who do, in fact, wear hearing aids and lip read, can get a little lost in the shuffle. So it was really refreshing to experience the world a bit through Joshua's ears, and I can tell the author put a lot of thought into the little details, like Joshua keeping his hearing aids away from water and needing people to look at him when they talk.
BONUS: adorable puppies and supportive friends make appearances. There is so much to love in this book!
This slow-burn romance strikes all the right chords and warms the heart. Joshua, or Chunk as most of his friends call him, is instantly smitten with Grace the moment he sees her at her friend’s animal rescue. He may be as big and intimidating on the outside, but he is really a teddy bear who wants nothing more than to take care of the people close to him. Now that group includes Grace. Joshua immediately senses that Grace is running from her past and is afraid to make decisions on her own. Her ex isolated her, then controlled everything in her life, making her feel rather useless, insecure and vulnerable. Joshua slowly but surely shows her that she is very capable of making her own choices and decisions, that she is far stronger than she thinks and is not at all lacking in any way. No one would ever guess that the big, burly and very handsome alpha male has his own insecurities, but when Grace realizes that he does, she steps up to be his support just as he did for her.
I enjoy the heat and sizzle between Grace and Joshua. Let’s just say that her shows her that she is a goddess in and out of the bedroom, and that he is happy to worship her. His patience and persistence are admirable and go a long way to putting Grace at ease in his presence and help her to find the courage to shut out the voice of her ex, as well as her doubts and fears. I love little Poppy, the pup that brought them together, as well as grumpy Ohgee. Joshua and Grace’s friends are wonderful too as they support and encourage them as their relationship strengthens, changes and deepens.
I am very happy to recommend this entrancing book.
Holy mother of Chunk, does this boy live up to all the hype in his book! If you've been reading the Wreck and Bull series, then you definitely are familiar with Chunk. He's such a great friend to everyone around him, and for him to finally have his moment to shine was everything! Joshua (or Chunk) loves with his whole heart everyone who he considers a friend, never wavering in his support and always thinking of others. When he meets Grace, it is love at first sight, and that boy falls hard and fast. But of course, thinking of her, he decides to be the best friend she could ask for, and maybe a little bit more than her friend. Grace has lost her spark for life; coming from a horrible relationship, she is on a journey to discover herself, to which Joshua is more than happy to help. The banter between these two was spectacular; I was either blushing or panting. And that spice was so, so hot! I mean, he really helps her ask for what she wants and find her inner badass! Wait till you learn all about the railing because, much like Grace, you'll be screaming. This was such a fun, fast read of friends to friends with benefits to the cutest relationship. If you haven't read Cherry's books, you are in for a treat! 4.5/5 starts 2.5/5 spice If you love these tropes you want to read this book: Friends with benefits Found family She finds herself size difference Dog daddy He falls first
Book 3 in The Wreck and Bull Series, and we finally get to find out Chunks story, and that his name is actually Joshua, in this strangers to friends with benefits to lovers story.
Chunk has been there as an amazing side character and friend in the previous two books in the series. He has always wanted to find ‘The One’ and when he meets Grace for the first time, he instantly knows she is the one for him.
Grace has returned to town to flee her abusive ex fiancé and needs some time to heal and find herself again. Once Chunk knows she isn't up for dates right now, he knows he has to be patient for his girl.
This beautiful story gave me all the feels, and I loved everything about Joshua and Graces journey. I loved how it started with Joshua supporting Grace, but then we started to see the struggles that he was facing, too. They both had to make some changes for themselves, but also realise its OK to accept help from others too.
The story unfolded really well and felt natural and realistic as their relationship changed. The more serious issues they were dealing with were really well written and dealt with sensitively. I loved their banter with each other, and the chemistry was hot from the start. Cherry treated us well with the spicy scenes as they were pure deliciousness! Add in all the cute doggies you could ask for and a healthy dose of Ella and Nate returning, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect book !
Contemporary romance ♥️ Interconnected Standalone 📖 Dual POV 👫 Friends with benefits 🥵 He falls first 🥰 They save each other 🛟 Injured ex-military MMC 🪖 Found family 🏠 Doggie rescue 🐶
This has been my favorite of the series yet! I’ve been anxiously awaiting Chunk’s story, and Cherry did NOT disappoint.
I loved literally everything about Chunk and Grace. I found myself smiling, blushing, giddy, swooning, and bursting with pride.
Going on a healing journey with Grace was cathartic. Her growth was beautiful, especially how they helped each other. The self-talk and therapy was so well done. I truly appreciated how their struggles and healing were written - as a healing journey that only made them both stronger rather than some character flaw they could never get past.
I loved seeing Nate and Ella again too. Plus we get sweet puppies and a grumpy dog that’s only sweet toward her 🥰 Yes, please.
I do wish we got more of Grace’s background and experiences, but honestly, I truly enjoyed this story without that anyway. It’s probably more of a testament to the writing that I just wanted more - I was sad to close the book on them.
Excellent excellent romance! I can’t wait for the hard copy to come out later this month to proudly display this one on my shelves!
I have been waiting for literal years for Chunk to get his HEA!!!! In the first book of The Wreck and Bull series, Prove You Wrong, you meet Nate's best friend Chunk. He is the wise, silly, devoted, emotionally mature, hard working, massive (tall and muscly in the best way) friend who clearly has been through things but is always there to support the guys. I absolutely became obsessed with the character. I needed to experience his story and more of Chunk.....well, here it is, and it is just as good as I had hoped it would be.
When Grace comes drifting into his life...almost literally if we count the luxury car she screeches into town in, Chunk is a goner. As the character that knows himself best, he KNOWS.
There are playful fights over the cutest puppy ever. There are moments where Grace saves herself, and moments where she saves the man who finally needs saving of his own.
The spice is flaming hot...grab your water bottle and your vibe for this one. And just know that treehouses, knuckles, and red dresses will never be the same again.
Some quick notes that make it just a bit sweeter: cute puppies, romantic settings, hot cars and hotter guys, a consent king, military vet, mirrors, railed on a railing, gym flirts, if he wanted to he would.
Go read it right now, you won't regret it.

Take You Home has so much heart and is in my top 5 comfort reads - the small town setting, wholesome characters, puppies! And of course sizzling romance.
Grace’s journey and courage is one that I could strongly relate to as she sets out to discover who she is. Her growing confidence and moments of realisations had me cheering her on.
Joshua had my heart from the previous books in the series, but the ex-royal marine who’s not afraid to be vulnerable and unapologetically himself has now set the standard for all MMCs! He is a man who knows what he wants, goes after it but always, always considers Grace’s feelings first.
Supported by their friends (a few familiar faces in the mix!) and the adorable puppies who are highly entertaining, I loved the twists and turns of the story. Grace and Joshua have personal traumas and pasts to work through, in addition to their blossoming friendship. The way they gently nudge each other to confidently claim what they want and shed past mistakes and regrets is so heart-warming.
In true Cherry style the spice is spicy! And the climactic ending had me at the edge of my seat. I blitzed through the book in a single weekend and had to force myself to slow down and savour the story.
Thank you Cherry Keeley for my ARC of Take You Home in exchange for this honest review! 4/5 ⭐️ 3.5/5 🌶️ What to Expect: -Friends with Benefits -Injured Ex-Military MMC -Dog Daddy -Found Family -He Falls First Grace and Joshua are the type of couple meant for each other, only thing if he realizes it before she would even consider it. But instead of being a pushy Carl (IYKYK) he gives her exactly what she needs; a friend and the chance to discover who she is after years of being forced to be someone else. Grace is starting over after leaving her controlling fiance and she couldn't have ended up with a more supportive family. Joshua is looking for the one, and he finds her literally under a sign that says Take Me Home. Couldn't be more perfect, expect she was hiding in a barn from the last guy that was trying to ask her out. Joshua is patient and gives Grace the space she needs to rediscover who she is, hoping that along the way she will want the same things he does. They compliment each other perfectly being exactly who the other needs without giving up any part of who they truly are. Favorite Quotes: "Sorry if I'm heavy," "Heavy? You aren't even my warm-up weight" [absolutely love this line!] "Alone in the moment together, it had been easy to ask him. It was easy to ask for something he was freely offering. He makes it easy. With him, I don't feel like a burden." "I want her to be happy. I want her to be herself. I want her to feel whole. And I want her to want me."
"Wow. I absolutely loved this book! I was absolutley hooked from the first chapter and did not want to put it down!
Grace, fleeing an abusive relationship arrives at her friends home which doubles as a dog sanctuary. When she arrives there is an abandoned puppy on the front steps and the two forge a strong bond. When Joshua arrives looking for a guard dog, Grace doesn't want to give up her canine friend and tries to steer him towards some other options. Joshua has been looking for ""The One"" and is sure Grace is his soulmate. Grace, still recovering from her abusive relationship is hesitant to start something new, but Joshua is determined to help her find herself and her happiness.
To say I ate this up would be an understatement! Joshua was so patient, kind, and understanding and really helped Grace come into her own. I loved seeing the different point of views when they were together and how their feelings grew for one another. I will absolutely be going back and reading the other books! "
Take You Home is book three in The Wreck and Bull Series.
This book was perfection, but that's not hard when you have puppies and Joshua in it. Let's just take a moment to appreciate everything that is Joshua (Chunk) Wreckingham-Smythe. He has got to be the sweetest and most caring person in town. There truly isn't a single thing you need to change about him. He was compassionate and patient. He was a really good person for Grace to become friends with. Even though he wanted more than friendship, if that was all she was willing to give him, then that was what he was going to take. He just wanted Grace to be apart of his life, in any way she deemed he could be there.
Grace really has a lot of development with this story. She was pushed down so far due to her ex, that she needed to focus on finding herself and being who she wanted to be. She does try very hard to fight her feelings for Joshua, but he is such a sweetheart that no one could resist him for long.
Thank you so much for the ARC of this wonderful, beautifully written book, Cherry.
I have had the opportunity and honour of reading all the three books of the Wreck & Bull Series and Cherry's writing style and the easy conversations between the characters who are dealing with such tough situations is such a delight to read.
Chunk is like this huge teddy bear whom I would love to have as a friend- because such loyalty and enduring affection that Joshua gives to his near and dear ones is an incredible thing to have. And him and Grace together is one of the cutest things in existence. Thank you for writing these two amazing main characters. And how can I forget the little fluff ball- Poppy. Actually, she is the star of the book! And Oh Gee <3
This book is about overcoming your fears, dealing with trauma through patience and kindness. This book is about enduring friendships and you get a glimpse of Nate and Ella from the first book. Truly, such a lovely book, like a warm jacket engulfing you in warmth on a cold winter night.
If you looked up ‘the perfect man’ in the dictionary, you would find Joshua Wreckingham-Smythe 😍
Joshua, aka ‘Chunk’ to his friends, is one of the most patient, caring and thoughtful men I’ve ever read about. He is everything Grace Dillon needs in her life after fleeing Luxembourg and her awful ex-fiancé.
The amount of times I kicked my feet reading this book was not normal 😂😂 The flirty banter was delicious. I was routing for Joshua and Grace from the very beginning. Also a special mention for the super cute doggos 🥹

Freshly out of a bad relationship and with nowhere else to go, Grace finds herself back with her best friend. Her plan:To get back on her feet and to find herself again. Joshua has been looking for "The One" for a long time. But the gorgeous woman, working at the pet rescue centre, doesn't want a relationship. So friends is all they'll ever be, right?
This. Book. Is. Everything. A cinnamon roll MMC. A vulnerable, yet strong FMC, who's coming back to herself more and more, delicious spice, an adorable fluffy sidekick, banter, found family? Heck yeah, I love these two so much!! I adore, how patient Joshua is with Grace, letting her decide in which direction their relationship is going every step of the way. Trying to help her figure out what she likes and doesn't like, helping her find her "bad🍑" self 🥰 If you like contemporary small town romance with relatable characters, found family and sizzling spice, go add the "Wreck and Bulls"-Series to your TBR. Thank me later 😉
This is the third book of the Wreck and Bull Series, and it can be read as a standalone. Joshua aka Chunk and Grace are just the perfect couple! Chunk was looking for the one and he found her alright! All he had to do was read the sign. He saw Grace and that was that! Grace on the other hand saw him and was hesitant, but Chunk was patient with her and gave her exactly what she needed-ya know…
Poppy the German Shepard and Ohgee the scruffy mixed breed who is a little grumpy bring the story together with how cute, funny, and mischievous they are with the MCs.
If you like found family, he falls first, dogs, lots of spice, and the number 3, then Take You Home is your next read!

Okay! Here I thought had my timing perfectly, I was typing up my review last night and realized the book released on the 26th and not the 29th. 😅

Okay, this is my first book by this author and I think I need to go back and read the first 2 books of this series! I’m not an overly in-depth reader, but I’m there for the vibes, and the romance. I loved every second of this book! Joshua is absolutely a giant teddy bear! There is lots of tension, and the build is amazing. I just didn't connect with Grace as well as I would have hoped. It felt like she only agreed to pursue things with Joshua because he adopted the dog she latched onto. She just fell a little flat in my opinion but I still absolutely loved the story, and the couple.
I received a digital ARC copy in exchange for an honest review!
Our FMC has left her cheat ex-fiance for good. But with no idea what to do, she goes to the one place she thinks of, her best friends. She just hopes he is still her friend after she basically disappeared because of her ex. He welcomes her to safety, and even gets her a job at his groomers/vet/dog adoption store. This is where she meets our MMC. He is former military, and looking to adopt a dog to train to be a guard dog after a fire on his property. The problem is the perfect dog for him is the one she's most attached to. In addition to a dog - he's looking for "the one". He knows he's found her, but he knows to tread lightly to not scare her away. He is patient - he will prove to her they are the real thing.
This book hits all the spots! Grace has been emotionally beaten down by her narcissistic ex fiancé. She flees to her best friend’s house, helps out in his dog rescue & is saved from the village creep by Joshua. What she isn’t prepared for is the way Joshua sees her. Really sees her. In an effort to help Grace find herself again, their friendship evolves - & they’re both holding back for different reasons. Reading how they come together, how they both grow & how Joshua becomes a solid foundation for Grace is beautiful. This is a heartwarming story, with enough spice to keep you glued to the page. I’ve not read the first two books in this series, but it didn’t feel like I was missing anything which is exactly how an interconnected standalone should be.
Joshua, “Chunk” to his buddies, is the perfect man! He is so patience and thoughtful, and has Grace’s best interests at heart. And our sweet Grace is learning so much about herself after leaving her ex. Them navigating their relationship from acquaintances, to friendly, to friends with benefits, to boyfriend and girlfriend was just so sweet!
And you can’t forget about all the side characters - human and four legged! The found family essence is so good in this book! Even Ohgee found a home 💜
This is book 3 in this series, and can be read as a standalone. I haven’t had a chance to read the first two, but I definitely plan on it!
You will enjoy Chunk and Grace’s story if you love 🐾 Found Family 💚 Ex Military, Cinnamon Roll MMC 🐾 Friends with Benefits 💚 She’s Finding Herself
Cherry Keeley is a fairly new author to me and I’m glad I read their latest book and will be keeping an eye out for more of their books!
You Home has it all: open door spice, a real a-hole of an ex and an amazing man who will move mountains for the one, wait as long as needed, and help her anyway they could. Grace left a toxic relationship and knew she needed to get out. She her dbag ex and found comfort in reaching out to an old friend. From there Grace worked hard to rebuild her confidence and find her old self. Joshua’s (aka Chuck’s) background was working in the military where he was injured and voluntarily left so he knows all about finding himself, the challenges that come with that and fighting old demons.
I loved how right away Joshua saw Grace, some of the challenges she’s fighting and did everything he could to help her. He tried to put a few things past Grace but there was no ill intent and they were things that would make her life easier. He is amazing!
This was such a great book with a beautiful storyline, and I’m glad we watched Grace find herself again.
She’s trying to find herself … he’s looking for the one.
As a Keely fan, you'll find me wherever there's a new book.
It's Chunk's turn, and I couldn't love him more. We've seen him in previous books, so now we get to know him better! Grace is his "one" in this book. He knows instantly (IYKYK), but she needs to find herself again.
Cherry's writing is captivating, and each story is unique and true to its form. The characters are well-developed, and the pacing and backstories are skillfully crafted.
You'll find your next book boyfriend, a sweet romance that will heat up your Kindle, and an author you need to read in my humble opinion.
I was given a free copy of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Chunk - but as we find out straight away - Joshua! Is the sweetest person, thoughtful, protective and all wrapped up in a huge muscly bow 🙌🏻 Grace couldn’t have met a better person for her. She blossomed under his friendship and I loved how their relationship developed. In the end, this great big man always there for everyone else, needed someone to maybe look out for him once in a while and Grace gave him that 🥰
💚I loved the confidence lessons 👀 💚The give me three 💚The sensory disability representation 💚Found family - Nate and Ella being in this book 🫶🏻 and meeting the Hairy Jacks gang! 💚The doggos 🐶 💚The changing room, the railing, the sunrise, the mirror 👀
I was smiling the entire time I read this book. It is written really well, with loads of laugh-out-loud moments. Also many 'oohs' and 'aahs'. Some of what the FMC went through is relatable in some ways and also very eye-opening.
But goodness, what a MMC! I wish they could all be this way! He’s definitely the whole package! I’d LURVE me some Chunk, please and thank you! And the spice was definitely delicious, leaving you thirsty for more. Never a dull moment, never repetitive, the main character development is just on par. In general a fantastic read, feel-good mood and a HEA. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who would listen!!! Well done, Cherry!
I CAN NOT COPE WITH THIS BOOK!!!! Oh I’m in love 🥺 chunk is an absolute amazing book boyfriend!! This book was so emotional and so good I absolutely loved it!! Chunk and Graces love story is slow but so worth the wait 🥰 I read this book so fast but couldn’t think of words to say for my review! It’s not very often I’m speechless but my god this book!! Amazing!! My favourite characters by far is Poppy and Ohgee!! 🐶🐾 And I absolutely love a woman in a red revenge dress!! Even if it wasn’t against him! And even better that she has a Lamborghini 🏎️ Such an amazing book!!
