Oh, a few things I didn't expect and some I did. Enjoyed it very much, tho I preferred the first book in the series more. It still contains the charm, the sexual tension, and the energetic love between Alexander and Christopher, but given how the prior book ended and where this one begins, it was painful to see the lovers' separation. Alexander is hooking up with other men, drinking and taking drugs all the time. Christopher has moved home and thrown himself into work. But an advertising deal brings them back together, and the conversations that should have taken place after the previous incident finally unfold. But it wasn't enough for me! I am angry with Alexander for his betrayal. I am frustrated with Christopher for his forgiveness. And when it reaches a pinnacle, I almost don't want it to work out for them. But I still have a fondness for their relationship and believe time can heal these wounds. Yet, when the big secret is revealed at the end, paving the way for a third installment, I'm left wondering... do I want this to work out, or should they separate for good? That's good writing, careful character development, and a reason to keep reading the series!

I was a big fan of Stolen Moments, and was really hoping for a HEA for my boys. That was when I thought it was a duet vs trilogy though so that’s my bad. Some pieces of the story worked really well like depicting Alexander’s addiction, but overall it was missing that magical sexual tension and excitement that SM had in spades. Christopher and Alexander’s reconciliation is too rushed, we don’t even get a new first kiss before a frankly uncomfortable sexual scene. After which Alexander is confused by Christopher’s distance which just showcases a selfish lack of maturity more so than the previous installment. Both characters I think showed us too much of their worst qualities with not enough of the good to balance things out. Maybe I was just too excited for this book and too hopeful my boys would get things worked out. I’ll still read the final installment, I just hope there is less trauma and more healing.

Also, yes there is a trigger warning, however: I implore anyone who is including death due to pregnancy complications and including pregnancy loss especially late in gestation to include a separate warning for that specifically. Triggering as hell.

Stolen Heart by A.B. Jackson — Book 2 .

I was lucky to get an ARC—thank you! I couldn’t wait to dive in after hearing the audio Alexander sent to Christopher in Stolen Moments (Book 1).

The music industry comes alive on the page, and the emotions between Alexander and Christopher? A full-throttle roller coaster .

That ending?! Total shocker 😱—now I NEED Book 3! Jackson’s writing pulls you in completely and the songs make you feel Alexander’s struggle in every note.
Wonderfull books, thank you A.B.Jackson for your incredible skills, waiting now for book3 trying to be patient !
I could write a lot more but there will be no teasers from me .

This was the first book I've ever been given ahead of time for a honest review.

I chose to do this, mostly because the first book hooked me with its claws and I've honestly only gotten that attached to characters maybe twice in the last two years of reading this type of romance. (wolfsong from tj klune being the other)

My first thoughts are: Five Stars...a must read...and an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish.

Before I get started. It is obvious that AB Jackson was in the music industry. The songs with the books really add...make sure you listen to them. Also, these are not trope music romance novels. This was a fresh take and I am not going to lie. I fell hard for this series.

If you liked the first book, this is more of the same. Just more of a second chance vibe...which works. Alexander has hit rock bottom since book 1 and we see how rough things got...if you've read the first, you know that Christopher and Alexander were manipulated by Alex's management and they broke up....so the first part of the book is getting them back together and using Chris's job to do so was a brilliant way to do so and keep it believable.

I will be frank. This book will break your heart. I love Alex and Chris...and damn it they both go through it in this one. Chris even more so than Alex, but to be honest a lot of Alex's issues go far before the book series started and I couldn't imagine dealing with what he did.

Watching them find each other again....buy things for each other....and watching Alex regain what made him so adorable in book 1 was nice to see. We don't really see the music side as much in this as Alex is mostly in the rest period he so desperately needed during book 1, but what we do get is great. The new songs are wonderful....broken man is legit and tells exactly how Alex has been feeling.

Chris has a lot happen...and sadly, he isn't dealing well...and without spoiling...It is heartbreaking. He loses a lot, but this time Alex is there....even if sometimes he pushes him away.

The romance scenes are well done...and the first explains a lot of Alex's current mindset.

Should you read this?

Absolutely. We learn a lot more about Alexander and how he is dealing with Paul...and his other management...and how he starts to take control of his life. I've seen some people bash on how glossed over the addiction and everything was in the first book....but that book was only about ten days of time. This is over a nine month span and a lot more is shown. We only saw a snapshot of the characters, now we see them for real...how they act in crisis, when things are good...and when things are so bad most of us would shut down. We get to see them laugh...and we get to see them break.

And we still have one more book to go.

Spice level:

There is sex, and most of it is well done. The first time shows how messed up their relationship has gotten, but the others are very much in line with the first book. I don't really read these books for the sex, I read for the plot...but if you read for the spice...you'll be fine. It isn't all the time, but it will give you what you need.

Warnings:

There are some very triggering things in this book. Chris goes through some trauma and Alex explains a lot of his own childhood trauma. This isn't something that is glazed over and both main characters are reeling from these issues. However, there are many good things that happen as well and seeing Alexander begin to recover made me smile more than once.

I love these characters, and the last 40 pages are a tough read, but one of the reasons I love AB Jackson is that he didn't shove all of this into one 340 page book. This book is to show us all of the darkness...what breaks them...so that we can see the light in the finale. Please give this one a read...Alexander and Christopher deserve it.

Things I loved (spoilers)
How well addiction and recovery is written from Alexander's POV

How loving Alexander becomes as he tries to better himself (remember, he is only 23 when it starts, he's just a kid himself)

The way AB Jackson writes pain. He will gut wrench you in the best way.

THE SONGS! DEAR GOD! I'm a Broken Man is LEGIT. I’d heard the demo awhile back. But this fully finished version reminds me of 90s music in the best way. Plus the song rips open all of Alexander’s pain and allows him to recover. It’s a beautiful part of his recovery.

I love how he makes you love or hate characters...Paul...gag me...everyone hates Paul...but Kelly...her love for her brother is so genuine.

I love how Chris holds his own against Paul...because F that guy.

I'd say more, but you need to read it yourself
I cannot recommend this book enough. If you like the pop star/second chance trope. This is for you.

Make sure you get a hold of the epilogue linked at the end of the book. It’s pretty important to seeing how things ended.

Thank you to A.B. Jackson for the chance to read this early for an honest review.
Story: 4/5
Spice: Low (# of scenes, detail)
Characters: 2/5

Overall reco: I couldn't put it down..
OKAY. WOW. How do I review this book? To be honest I finished it a few hours ago and I'm still reeling from the last several chapters (And the downloadable epilogue!). I enjoyed the book, but I also hated it. Have you ever read a book or series and couldn't put it down because you needed to know but you also would get so flabbergasted at what happened in the story? Yeah? That's me. I found myself constantly making time for it, I finished it faster than I expected because I was so into the story. That said, I enjoyed it like I enjoyed gossip, appalled but down for more.
First, the spice.. didn't get much better or different from the first book, it's flat and transactional. The scenes are like half a page at the most. Lube does not exist in this world. And while I understand that books can't be full on with the reality of mm sex there are things that can be covered (like lube?). Anyhoo, I wouldn't recommend this book or the others in the series for the spice so it's a bit of a meh point (but I wood for the story). Just know it didn't get better between the books.
The characters.. I still really don't like Alex. Yes, he has problems. Addiction, trauma, ect. Yes, this is the middle book of a trilogy and it's going to be the darkest and hardest of the books. I'm glad that the characters became more fleshed out but through all of that with Alexander I felt like Chris was just.. screwed. Every step of this book felt like a 'this is why Alexander is a dick, see? feel sorry for him.' I felt like Chris got no love, not reprieve, no chance to process everything and was just expected to keep moving, chin up, smile and let the manchild back into his life so he could love bomb and gift bomb his way back into peoples hearts. I think the thing that solidified it for me, how much I dislike Alex, is that last chapter. Spoilers about something very significant, but I need to vent: So yeah. I hate Alex. This will not stop me from reading the last book, if only so I can get some justice for my boy Chris (who is veyr much also a manchild but god damn.)
Really this is just one fucking rug pull after another. Or a rollercoaster with no end (Mr. Bone's Crazy Ride). It was hit after hit after hit. Again, enjoyable!
There was one thing.. that I really didn't like. The amount of memes and pop culture references. Some of them made sense because of the context they happened in. But the scene with the weather lady in Oklahoma just had me rolling my eyes, and not really in a good way. The constant name dropping got a bit much sometimes as well.
If you read the first one and liked it, the second one is just as entertaining. I'm personally mad that I will now have to wait months to know how my poor baby Chris turns out.

"I hate you, I miss you, I want you, how could you, why did you, where were you?".

This line (one of the best in the book) sums up what Book 2 in the Stolen Romance series is about - following the insane cliffhanger ending of Book 1, this second instalment follows Alexander and Christopher's story as they move forward and seek to repair their relationship. Can they be together again? Can they move beyond the heady first days of their relationship into something lasting? And how do they move forward when trust has been totally eroded?

Alexander and Christopher continue to be compelling characters - and Stolen Hearts delivered a lot of what I was looking for in the second book. The narrative arc is a longer, which gave the story more depth and moved it beyond the "whirlwind romance" feel of Book 1. It also gives us the opportunity to learn more about Alexander's backstory, along with the chance to explore complex themes around mental health and trauma. With this comes some challenges - as Alexander deals with complex PTSD, addiction and other issues, he inevitably becomes quite an unlikeable character at times - and having absolutely LOVED both Alexander and Christopher in Book 1, there were definitely times in this sequel where I wanted to give either or both of them a good shake. While Book 1 was a feel-good tale of heady romance and lust, Book 2 is darker, more complicated, messier and more mature - and it's less of an easy read as a result.

There's also less "spice" in this book, and what there is, is a relatively long time coming, which might frustrate some readers who are in it purely for the smut. The spicy scenes in this book also felt more problematic - the first one felt borderline coercive/abusive, the second takes place in a fairly grotty sounding toilet (which put me off a bit!), while at other times the sex feels incredibly transactional. Overall, the feel of these scenes perhaps serves to underline the fact that life doesn't stay a fairytale for long (if ever), even in fiction. For much of Stolen Hearts both Alexander and Christopher are emotionally shut off from each other, and maybe the nature of the sex reflects that.

As always, what A.B.Jackson does brilliantly as an author is immerse you in the world beyond the book - from the free epilogue which follows by e-mail, from the newly released real-world music tracks to accompany the book, A.B. Jackson continues to break new ground in terms of innovation. Although I'm not really the target demographic for the music, I really appreciate the effort that's gone into creating a universe beyond the books themselves - it's something that very few other authors have done, and sets the books apart from others in the same genre.

I look forward to reading the final instalment in the trilogy when it's released - and live in hope of a very happy ending to Alexander and Christopher's story!

Disclaimer: I was delighted to receive an advanced reader copy of this book from the author, however, this is an honest review that wasn't influenced by the author or anyone else.

Man oh man!!!!! So many rollercoaster loops in this book 2! This book definitely has a redemption theme to it. I just want to wrap up the main MC Alex in a hug and slap some sense into him at the same time. No need to rush anything, just take one day at a time but I can understand with his character the impulse to take what’s offered in front of you (i.e. Chris-again). But this time around Chris is dealing with what happened in book 1 too. He seems more affected than Alex does in my opinion. The storyline was great. The ups and downs, and twists. The angst was real and I was gritting my teeth and bouncing my legs while devouring this in one day. I really love how Chris is such a complex MC: caring yet guarded, been burned before yet is willing to listen/open up again, funny, loyal. I am partial to book 1 due to the tension and the charisma between the two MCs but this one was a solid sequel.

Grief is a major subject as well as addiction in this book. +Trigger warnings for this book mentions flashbacks to SA, drugs, addiction and grief. Very relatable themes/character situations throughout, the writing confirms that. Although I wish there was more spice in this one, I have to admit I wish one MC didn’t rush into things so quickly with the other. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot…kinda stressed me out a little bit but a solid 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. I’m ready to see what happens in book 3! That ending though.

Stolen Hearts by A.B. Jackson dives back into the turbulent, intoxicating relationship between Alexander Morgan and Christopher Foster — and wow, it hurts in all the right ways. Picking up after the devastating fallout of the leaked video, we find Alexander spiraling into hookups, drinking, and self-destruction, while Christopher retreats home and buries himself in work. The separation was painful to read… and honestly? I’m still mad at Alexander. And maybe a little frustrated at Christopher for forgiving him so easily.
When an advertising deal forces them back together, the long-overdue conversations finally happen — raw, messy, and emotional. We get much deeper insight into Alexander’s past and trauma, which adds important layers to his behavior and coping mechanisms. It doesn’t excuse everything… but it explains a lot.
I didn’t love this one quite as much as the first book, but the sexual tension, chaotic devotion, and magnetic pull between them is still undeniable. And that ending? Another brutal cliffhanger. I’m torn between wanting their HEA and thinking maybe they shouldn’t survive each other — which is exactly why I’ll be reading book three.
Angsty, dramatic, and emotionally layered, this trilogy is addictive in the best way.

Stolen Hearts left me with mixed feelings. I really liked how Alexander and Christopher’s relationship develops and the vulnerable moments between them—they felt real and were some of my favorite parts. I also appreciated the focus on therapy, addiction, and trauma. Another aspect I liked was how the book portrays the harsher side of the entertainment industry—the pressure, public image, and how artists are often treated as products rather than people. As someone who works in events, this felt very close to reality.

That said, I felt like there were just too many conflicts. I don’t mind conflict, tropes, or miscommunication, but the amount of it all happening at once felt like too much for me. At some point, it became overwhelming and didn’t leave much room to actually enjoy the happy moments. The lack of communication between the characters also got really frustrating after a while.

Overall, it kept me hooked, but there were parts I really loved and others I struggled to get through because they felt too heavy.

Even so, it’s an emotional and intense read that keeps you engaged. I’m not sure if I’ll continue with the series, mostly because I’m concerned the conflicts will keep escalating.

Thanks to the author for the ARC—this is just my personal opinion as a reader.

In the space of roughly 48 hours, I've read book one, the prequel, and I just finished reading book two. If book three were available, I'd read that too! Yes, that means I highly recommend this series. With that said, it's a high emotion read with lots of gut punches, but also plenty of sweetness sprinkled throughout.

Were there gut punches as punchy as book one or the prequel? No, not really. Was there a lot of angst? Yes. This time, there were also several situations that blindsided me - I didn't see them coming, and at least one of them was massively devastating. As for the ending, I did see that coming, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out in book three.

The characters, main and otherwise, are strong and well written. The storyline is robust. The love story is compelling in the best way, and the main characters are growing, evolving, and becoming more of who they need to be as individuals to then be better as a couple, and it's satisfying to read the progression.

I'm grateful to have received an early copy of this book thanks to the author and to BookSirens. This review is my honest opinion. Again, I highly recommend this series. This series is one that I'll probably read again, more than once or twice.

Massive thank you to A B Jackson for sending me an ARC ebook to review and fall in love with. Physical copy has been preordered.

Where to start with this review ?

With the ending of Stolen Moments I went straight into this hoping that Chris and Alex were just that little bit closer to getting their happy ending. Not quite there yet but the foundation is strong.

What we do get is to witness them deal grief, addiction, rumours, life changing experiences which for any couple would put astronomical strain on their relationship, Chris and Alex have some amazing people in their corner to make them realise that the fight is worth it.

Yet another emotional rollercoaster read, I loved every minute also had the playlist from the Stolen Moments playing in the background.

I could wax lyrical (see what I did there) about this book all day, from the characters, the behind the scenes option of view, banter, the spice, the mental health representation but all I say is add this to your list and enjoy.

Don't forget to check out playlists in each book and the songs featured throughout, worth a listen.

I was sent an advanced copy of stolen hearts by the author and I cannot put into words how much of a wild rollercoaster this book is. It’s even better than the original. It’s heartbreaking, hilarious and inspiring all at the same time. I really enjoyed it, from the lyrics, pros and cons of fame and the vulnerability of the characters is just something I don’t often find in one book but it’s just a really touches you and make you feel all kinds of things.

The romance between Christopher and Alexander is something really special. They never have it easy but life never is easy it really does make you feel something. They help each other through so much.

You can tell AJ has put so much into this to create something different.

I found myself saying out loud when will they catch a break!

I do have to say there are some bits that were so heart wrenching that had me asking WHY! But that’s not a bad thing it means something has been created that pulls you in. It hooks you and makes you route for them against all odds.

There struggles are far from over especially with the last few chapters but my god was this a journey.

Cannot recommend it more. Is book 3 out yet ? 😂

Now, I thought that the first part of the trilogy would have been the worst cliffhanger but A.B. Jackson has done it again. I desperately need the last part of the trilogy. I need to know what happens to my favourite chaotic boyfriends.

Stolen Hearts continues to explore the difficult themes and traumas covered in the first instalment of the series. We get far better insight into Alexander's emotions and his life history. One that truly explains his behaviour, his reactions and offers us explanations for his coping mechanisms.

I'm stoked and excited for the last part of the trilogy and to find out whether they'll receive their happily ever after or if they don't make it in the end.

A.B. Jackson has me excited not just for this series to be fully published but also all the other ideas for novels that he might have. He puts incredible effort into constructing his characters and giving them time to develop and let us in slowly. Often we are immediately given all information but the way he uses this trilogy allows us to grow with the characters and get to know them at the same time that they are getting to know each other as well.

I received this book as an Arc and I am so thankful to AB Jackson for the chance to read this book!

I would give this book a 3.5 now I can you you that Stolen Moments was a 5 star read I could not put it down and even reread it so I’m was shocked this book didn’t grab me the same way! Now let’s get into it:

Please check your trigger warnings for this book as it contains some tough subjects..

I was so excited we started off where SM ended and couldn’t wait to see what was in store for our boys but was somewhat disappointed but that’s just me now that I know this didn’t give me the HEA I was looking for we have one more I believe to get through! Now the cliff hanger of this book I expected since the beginning of the book but was still like NNNOOO!

The heart break in this book for both our boys was so sad I can’t wait to see how it is all overcome..

Watching and understanding our Sk8terBoi’s journey with his addiction and healing was well put and How his Betty never truly gave up.. they both take a journey that will break you and start to heal you at the same time

I guess we wait to see what’s to come but I am rooting for them to get a hard earned HEA

Where to start...
I was so excited to read following the ending to Stolen Moments and had no idea where the story would go.
This book is an absolute heartbreker, especially if you have fallen in love with the characters as I have. Alexander and Christopher really do go through it in this book, together and apart. Anyone that has dealt with any kind of break up and loss will feel it through this book.
It is very well written, it has a lot of warmth and heart and in turn has its extremely dark moments, which I felt was extremely brave to confront in what is essentially a love story. At the core of all the upset and turmoil is love and this warms you as well as having you pray and hope for a happy ending. Just when you think its going to be
absolutely perfect and as a reader your happy, that is swiftly taken away. Once again the end is not the end and leaves you wanting more and more.
I look forward to the final installment and pray for the ending we all want for Christopher and Alexander.

Wow...Im blown away by this story. The storyline itself was great, but the fact that even if just loosely based on real characters made it all the better! Its not just a fluff smut story, all though there is that too. Theres a real story with characters that you can love and hate all at once. You get all the feels with this one. The way they both changed over the length of the book.. great personal development. He made them both "real" and that's just everything. I feel like the author put alot of love and emotions into alexander and Christopher's story. Im embarrassed to admit I did not realize this was a trilogy... the whole way through im thinking theyre gonna get the happy ending soon.. only to get to that ending...I was equal parts raging that I had to wait even longer for that to happen and giddy like a child that I was going to get more! I cannot wait to get the third book now and see how it plays out with their version of happily ever .
Great book AB Jackson...the emotions you no doubt had to relive came through in this wonderful storyline.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

I think I might hate A.B Jackson :) After the cliff-hanger that is the end of Stolen Moments this is just an emotional roller coaster from start to finish. These poor boys continue to go through the wringer and just when you think they might have hit solid ground, it's ripped away. If the 3rd book in the trilogy doesn't have a happy ending I may riot!!

As for the story we pick up almost where we left off in book one with our boys back in LA but estranged. Neither is handling things well, with Chris throwing himself into work and Alex trying to forget using drink and drugs. When they are forced back together again, there is no denying the sparks are still there.

The character development through book two was more focused on Alex, and I can see why some readers have struggled to root for him, but what can I say I am a sucker for a broken boy, and am glad he got to lay some of his demons to rest. I am hopeful that Chris will get mo

The themes in this book are definitely heavier than book one with historic abuse, as well as addiction and grief being central to the story, but they are written in a way that feels authentic and raw. There are a couple of major plot twists I won't spoil, one I saw coming a mile off but the other one totally floored me and had me in tears.

I love the accompanying songs as well, they are such a unique addition to the books, and the audiobooks.

Book 3 in the AB Jackson series continues the epic story of rock star Alex and normal guy Christopher. Through this book Christopher sees even more of the life Alex lives, the good, the bad and the really bad. Drugs, alcohol, hiding his sexuality, rehab, the constant demands on the rock star life. It’s something Christopher barely saw in the week they were together in Stolen Moments before everything changed with a leaked video. The book brings the reader along for the emotional ride of two people from different worlds trying to find love together again. I was lucky to get the ARC of this book because waiting until June for the release was painful. I wasn’t disappointed. AB Jackson has quickly become one of fave authors. He’s a master of a cliffhanger so be ready! Add this to your TBR as soon as it’s out. You will love it as much as the first two! I had to make myself stop last night so I could get some sleep, but finished it as soon as got up! Sk8er boi x Betty forever!

NO!!! Why would you do this to me AGAIN?! 😭

I went into this knowing it might hurt, but nothing... nothing... could have prepared me for the emotional rollercoaster this book put me through. One minute my heart was full, the next it was shattered, then somehow pieced back together just to be wrecked all over again. But in the best possible way.

I did guess one of the twists as it happened (and felt very smug about it), but everything else still hit so hard. Especially Alexander's back story! 💔 The tension between Alexander and Christopher is raw, messy and filled with so much unresolved emotion. There’s love, anger, longing and so much pain underneath it all. But that’s what makes it so addictive.

An easy 5⭐ from me. I’m obsessed with this series and I am NOT ready, but desperately ready, for the final book!

I have had the pleasure of being a ARC reader for this book. Like stolen moments, this book had my emotions going up and down throughout. Whilst this book confronts some very serious themes that are heartbreaking at times, the story is lovely…really lovely…so lovely that it had me questioning throughout “when is something bad going to happen”! Knowing that this is Christopher and Alexander; nothing in their love story is ever simple! This book had me laughing, kicking my feet, hot under the collar, ugly crying, and screaming at the cliff hanger at the end. Although truth be told, and this would be my one criticism, I did see that coming! Nonetheless, I absolutely loved this book and cannot think of anything else now, other than when can I get my hands on stolen romance!! I leave you with my final words…F#?! You Paul!

Whoa!! This book kept me invested right from the start, but that ending blew me away!!! The last two chapters wreaked havoc on me. I loved how this story unfolded. So many twists and turns in book 2 and I cannot wait to see what happens in book 3. Alexander’s struggles in this book made me sad to read, but he finally seemed to come out the other end, at least until the last page of the book. Amazing what therapy will do for people! Now it’s Christopher’s turn for some upheaval in his life and I was not expecting that to be the case. I don’t want to say much without giving spoilers, so I’ll just say that this book was amazing. Heartbreaking, and some major anguish along the way, but an incredible read. I was in a book funk and I read this book so quickly. Highly recommend this series. Thank you to the author for an arc copy of this book for my honest review.

An excellent continuation of Chris’ and Alex’s complex journey of discovery, love, heartbreak, return to a better place of love, and then ugh more heartbreak! I like in this book you get a fill in of many of the missing pieces of each of their lives as to how they got to where they are in life. A fuller opportunity of knowing who they are and why they have complex and messy lives. I really liked seeing the personal growth in Alex; you also initially think that Chris has it all together - confident in knowing who he is, determined what he wants but his life is not that simple, his own journey is more complex. You don’t think Alex will ever advance but I liked how he learned and grew in character in understanding who he is and why he reacts to things in the way he does. I do hope for much more spice going forward but I really liked the development of the story. A definite must read!

I’m not sure where to begin with this book. If you thought the first was a rollercoaster of emotions, this is every bit as wild.

The character detail is incredible; these feel like real people and I genuinely felt for them when things went wrong. I almost skipped to the good part when our two MCs reunited, but the build-up was fantastic, showing how much they wanted to be together.

The ending was a wild ride and a bit rushed, but in a good way. There’s no way I’d have been able to read any chapters from Christopher’s perspective after losing his sister; her loss broke my heart and reminded me how fragile and sudden life can be.

Again, like the first book, I wanted these boys to have their HEA, but the author insists on teasing us before we get there! I’m hoping for a third book with a “riding off into the sunset” type of ending. These characters deserve that.

The emotional rollercoaster of these books continues!

Just when you think they’re both settling and getting a grip on the hardship in their lives, something happens to throw it all off again.

It’s a hard read with some very difficult subjects. But it’s got to the point where I just want everyone to leave them both alone. They deserve a happy ending after all this, but whether they get it, who knows?!

I really enjoyed the story. Having properly understood that this isn’t the end yet (this time), it didn’t bother me that we don’t get any sort of closure. Being left like that is annoying, but it 100% has me wanting
the next book to hurry TF up. 😆 So I guess it works.

I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll end it with I can’t wait for their final act! I also love the fact that you get a playlist to go along with the story of Alexander’s songs.

A huge thank you to Author A.B Jackson for giving me an ARC.

Firstly. Wow. I read it in a day and could not put it down. I adored the first book and now the second had me even more hooked.

The character development of both Alexander and Christopher was truly something special. Alexander’s addiction and breakdown was done incredibly tastefully and had me in tears more then once. Christopher is an amazing character and feels things so deeply.

I was so thrilled to read Paul’s downfall, he’s a villain that’s for sure but again a phenomenally written character.

I did predict the ending about half way through the book however it still shocked and infuriated me.

Overall I think this is such a well written and believable book series. I cannot wait for the third book and then I want to see this as a TV series asap.

What a journey....
I loved Alex and Chris already, but boy! This book, the emotions, the way I could almost feel their pain.... It's refreshing to read a love story that is so realistic, so heartbreaking in parts and also so heartwarming. They are the main characters but the 'support' characters are just as important.
If you love books that make you want to stay up "just another chapter" and find yourself still reading at 4am then trust me... this is the book for you.
I cannot recommend it enough, you will not be disappointed.... well, you will when you get to the end because thats what you don't want - it to end.
Go buy it, find a comfortable chair and allow yourself to sink into Alexander and Chris' world, you will love it too.

Its been three days since I read this book and Im still feeling it all! Wow, just wow! Again, we are left holding our breath for the next book. Christopher and Alexander take us through some wonderful, real and also painful moments in this book, and the love between them is bigger than ever. I loved every minute of these two and that continuous sizzle between them. Not your usual twists and turns in this book, which was so pleasantly surprising - I just couldnt stop turning the pages. The unfolding was like - what the?????? Deep, raw, emotional and beautiful. Im left saddened but holding on to hope in book 3! Please dont let us wait too long! This cliffhanger was like nothing ive come across before.

Advanced copy direct from the author ..thank you 💙🥰

First off the audacity of the ending yet again from this author ..seriously..SERIOUSLY 😱😱

This one sees us continuing directly on from book 💚Stolen Moments💚

Alex is a mess (I mean there's a beard now) while shooting a new film and Chris is taking his frustration out at the gym after it all went Pete Tong at the end of Book 1

Will we see these two reunited or is it too late? I hope so because they’re adorable together 🫠😍

This book is emotional damage, love, despair, sprinklings of spice and trauma all in one

If your a fan of MM romance, toxic relationship, forced proximity, knight in shining armour and broken hero tropes then this should absolutely be on you TBR

Also the new songs on Spotify are 🧑🏻‍🍳😘 Go have a listen to Alexander Morgan

Alex isn’t allowed to reveal his true self to the public, and a leaked photo of him kissing his boyfriend Chris has cost him his relationship. Alex's management team has made it clear that Chris can have no contact with Alex and it's left him resentful. Alex knows what happened is wrong but isn’t sure how to fix it. When Alex is approached to be in an advertising campaign he insists that Chris be the representative from the advertising agency. Now they're forced to be together and Alex hopes they can find a way back. Fame has its costs, but what costs are you willing to risk? Alex and Chris have to answer that question to find the happiness management wanted to kill for gain.

I was desperate to read this after the way book 1 ended and devoured it in just over a day, having been lucky enough to secure an ARC.

I enjoyed the dynamic between Chris and Alex from the start of book 1 but there are also so many interesting side characters in their story. I'll try not to give too much away as spoilers but in book 2, we are treated to their relationship progressing, although it's not without some huge sadness along the way. There are surprises and twists too before the mother of all cliffhangers....again! Not sure how I'll survive till next year to wait for book 3.

A great book, a great series - loved it.
