USA Today Bestselling Author Nina Levine is an Aussie author who writes alphas with a side of dirty and sassy women who don't hand their hearts over easily.
When she isn't creating with words, she loves to create with paint and paper. Often though, she can be found curled up with a good book and some chocolate.
This was a quick read; but even being short it packed a punch. We got to have a taste of each of the Storm MC couples that we have come to love in this exciting series! Luckily the catching up included some extremely hot sex that each couple is well known for! I loved every minute of it!
"Sassy Christmas" focused more on the woman of those studly alpha males we have lusted after..I loved that we got to see into their heads for a bit, and learn some of their fears and dreams. Even though all of the couples are still madly in love/lust with each other; they are struggling with real life issues. This book went into their issues a bit, and there were more than a few emotional scenes.
Once again Nina Levine packs a punch in such a short novella and I will always take the time to read them when she puts them out because of it. Even better, this story is free! Quite honestly though, I would have paid money to read it, as it would be worth every penny. This novella takes place in the time frame right after "Slay" ends..and right before Illusive begins.
If an MC series is what you love and what you are in the mood for...this is a series that needs to be given a chance. It is one of the better ones out there hands down!!! Now I am moving on to the fifth book in the series; Illusive! I am sure it will be another sexy adventure with the bad boys I have come to adore!
It's so nice to see them all again, living their lives, overcoming their obstacles, dealing with their fears. Yes, they are living their Happily Ever After, but we get to watch their lives along the way.
Even being a short story, there were some sensitive topics and they were beautiful to read. Our loved characters' lives are still happening, they are still evolving and fighting for their dreams, feeling happiness and pain, love and fear. It made them all real and even more relatable.
It was great reading this - it allowed me to feel like I was revisiting old friends and now has not only put me in a festive mood but has resparked my memories of the Storm MC. Time for a re-read or time to find new MC by Nina Levine.. I'd forgotten how much her characters stick with me! 💕
Another fab instalment from Nina Levine in the Storm MC series. Sassy Christmas is told from the Storm ladies POV and what we get from this snappy little novella is fun, humour, smoking steamy scenes and some real emotional angst. I really enjoyed catching up with the gang and now sit back and anxiously await Illusive and Command.
This was a quick read a filler book catching up with each couple so far in the series there wasn't anything happening and I think you could skip this one of you wanted and more on to the next in series without missing any of the story. This book was family orientated which was sweet
I love that Nina added a CHRISTMAS element to this series, I think Christmas is the best time of the year, no doubt ... CHRISTMAS and the biker dude ... this is such a fun read. ( ;
OMG ... there is a war between Donovan, Nash and Griff ... these Storm Men are wild. OKAY, it took me a minute, but my memory is so back, Donovan is my 1st fave, then Nash. Cue the whistles and cat calls, I can imagine in my mind what Donovan looks like and heck yeah, I would say wanna meet him and pick his mind. drool!! Nash is definitely one of my most faves of the characters in the series, But darn it does Goodreads and Amazon ever work the same? their numbering system of this series is freakin' nuts!! OMG, I thought for sure I had written reviews for these book, darn it ... Sorry about that Nina. Each of Nina's books a jammed packed full of biker hot dudes. For me, it made me think of SOA. This for me is the biker series that started it all, there are so many ladies who have written such great biker series, but for me Nina will always be the one I look back on with such fondness, which might be a weird word to use??!! She gives it her Auzie kick for sure, she is Australasian (is that spelled right, doesn't look right??!) ... did u know that? Love her accent. Lots of wordie dirty words, if you are okay with that, then so worries but wanted to say it out there just in case? I read these books, the series probably 2 to 3 years ago, could have swore I reviewed them at the time ... I could re-read them to figure my fave ... they are extreme, intents, hot, steamy, love this series!! When I have more time from my other books on my TBR I might re-read them. ( ;
WOW thank you for this emotionally intense novella, I enjoyed it immensely, although I did have a few tears. I really enjoyed being able to read from all the girls POV's leading up to Christmas, especially after the ending in Slay. I loved the brief updates from all the problems the girls are facing & how they are getting through them. I'm ready & waiting for the next book in the "Storm MC" series... please read 'Sassy Christmas' after you read 'Slay' otherwise you will miss out on alot of info. Thank you again Nina, I absolutely FLOVE your work.
I definitely struggle with novella's usually (not long enough for my liking) but this one was smart on the author's part, giving us a snippet on our beloved characters! We got to see a bit on all the couples so far, see what they are each going through, struggling with but its great to see them all realise they have each other and can move forward! Even though its short, I definitely think it contributes greatly to the series so don't recommend you skip it!!! Onto the next one, yay!!!
WOW!!!! What a fantastic little novella!!! Nina Levine did a wonderful job reacquainting us with all of her wonderful characters & letting us know what is going on with their lives.
Thank you so much, Ms Levine, for a wonderfully entertaining update on the lives & loves of the men we all love so much!!!!
Great novella, I love to get updates on all the characters that you have read about and fell in love with. In this book we see the members ofsorm getting ready for a christmas party, while they are working through relationship issues. I'm looking forward to Griff's story next.
This little Gem although a Novella it still has the power to knock you onto your arse. It's filled with a little bit of what all the couples are going through whether it's Their personal life or MC business each of them are fighting something. But they also realise they have the most amazing life partner next to them to help them move past whatever it may be.....
Each one of them battling a Demon from the past but their love for their partner and family or friends that have become family helps them through alot. I can't wait to see more in the next book. Things are gonna get more bumpy and I'm gonna enjoy every second of this wild ride. Watching each one not let their past dictate their future and watching them realise they are worth so much more. It is absolutely Stunning to have a front row seat to because we love each couple so it's only natural we want them happy and to know their worth.
Enjoy the next stop in this Rollercoaster. Griffin is up next Yipppppppppy
This is really just a chance to catch up with the couples in the series and check out what is happening with each of them. Madison and Jason still have a divide about having babies, Scott and Harlow struggling to move on from the miscarriage Velvet and Nash working out their differences about having a family and Layla still helping Blade with his demons. So nothing particular happening just catching up on their lives, not a particularly necessary story as these things tend to come out in the main books but a reasonable way to pass a couple of hours, but you would need to have read all the books so it is not a stand alone story.
This was a quick catch-up story for all the couples so far in the series. Madison sure knows how to throw a party, although J could totally go without. All of our favorites show up for the party and finally it seems like a few of the couples are getting back on the right track.
As with all the other books in this series there is a good combination of humor, romance and broody biker men. I really love how the women in this series stick together. The men have each other and so do the women.
>Book Review – Sassy Christmas >I am an independent reviewer. This novella is the 5.5th in the Storm MC series. During a Christmas party, all the couples are re-visited and some issues are revealed, while some are resolved. Scott and Harlow have suffered a miscarriage and Harlow is deep in a depression as a result. This issue will be recurring throughout the next 2 books. > This novella is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I enjoy revisiting the couples.
A nice quick Holiday novella for us to all enjoy. The women of Storm MC throw a Christmas party so their men can relax - even if only for one night. We get glimpses of all of their lives and what is going on with each character...except Griff. He is a mystery, which will hopefully be solved in the next book.
This was a nice quick read. I was unsure whether to waste my time on it thinking it would just be filler fluff but, it was nice. The best part being the struggle Harlow and Scott were having. There was more information given there to what was happening with her. Plus there was more happening with Madison/J and Velvet/Nash
I'm glad I read this before continuing on with the series
Ms. Levine is now in my top 10 list, can't get enough of her storytelling. I don't know how she knew that motorcycle clubs and motorcycle menz are two of my favorite things. Can't wait to read the last two books in the series.
What a awesome novella! I know I read this one out of order but I just had to. Ms Levine did a wonderful job reacquainting us with all of her fun and sexy characters and letting us see what is going on with their lives. Can't wait to read more of this series. I recommend this book.
For some reason, I thought revisiting characters at Christmas time would be happy. It does end happy but they have to wade through a lot of fu fu fu's to get to the la la la's
I think perhaps because I’m reading the series back to back this short novella is a little redundant. I can imagine if it’s between books it will give you the Storm fix you were requiring.
It’s a great short little catch up with the girls of Storm.
