He lost his co-pilot. Now he has to become the algorithm.
With his integrated AI offline and his enemies closing in, Artie Pringle is fighting a losing battle. His only hope is a series of cryptic messages from the "ghost" of his former AI, which leads him to a reclusive hacker who might be the key to fighting back.
But as they build a digital fortress, their enemy, Dr. Thorne, changes the rules of the game. He's no longer attacking their systems; he's attacking their lives. To protect his family and his team, Artie must transform his small delivery company into an open rebellion. But when the enemy's true, terrifying endgame is revealed, Artie will discover the war was never about control—it was about extinction.
Couldn't finish the book. 30% in. So many events that happened in book 2 are being repeated. MC using the emergency printouts, again, using Nan's tin box money for an e-bike, again, (tin box money was used in book 2 for the first e-bike), mom's birthday, again (even did the same activity as in book 2), day one of the new contract they secure, etc. If you enjoyed books 1 & 2, this book will be a disappointing rehash of events that already happened.
I have enjoyed reading this series but book 3 at times has confusing timeline issues that are emmersion breaking. With that in mind this is still a pretty good read.
