When they catch their little hacker, they’ll make all her dreams come true.
And maybe some nightmares, too…

Lark.
A mischievous and appropriate name that I picked for the Dark Net.
I thought I was clever. Daring, even.
But somehow they found me.
And now they’re hunting me.

I thought they wanted their money back.
But no.
It turns out, they simply want me.

Johan is the cunning one—the fellow hacker who identified my real identity and the location of my nest.
Noah is the psychotic one. Yet he’s nurturing and caring when it comes to me.
And Laz is the one in charge of the pack. His word is law, and his claim is just as impactful.

The problem is, they’re not the only ones I’ve pissed off.
With a horde of enemies on my doorstep, I have no choice but to run.

Don’t worry, little hacker.
We love a good hunt.
So run fast and hard.
We’ll be right behind you…

Author’s Lark is a standalone story featuring a feisty hacker and three possessive men who will stop at nothing to track her down, protect her, and worship her.

Lark😈

Lark is the next book in the Beware of the Widows series and takes us down a different path to the first two but just as enjoyable🙌

Lark holds a few secrets as to how she funded the purchase of Widows Peak, who she really is and now years later, it appears it’s finally caught up to her in the way of three Alphas, who also happen to be a part of the mafia☺️

Loved it and looking forward to the last few books❣️ I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

The inconsistency in this book was astounding.
Wft was up with the knot situation 🤢
Why did Lark leave her best friends behind for a pack?? Not very best friend of her!!!
And the very non con situations between male packmates? Did they even like each other or was it just convenient?!
Also there was no heat in this book - which in my opinion is a key part of an omegaverse book.

I LOVED Lexi and Silva but Lark…. A let down.
Very disappointed as I wanted to love this book so much.

There were some intriguing elements to this story - the characters were the best bit with their sheer obsession with Lark and the lengths they would go to to ensure she became theirs 😍
Lark (Aurora) was kidnapped at 18 and trafficked/groomed to become an omega doll essentially but escaped with other omegas to create their own safe haven 😃 as a hacker she has incredible skills but it also means she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty - and that past is coming back for her whether she likes it or not 😅 despite what she’s been through she’s definitely got a feisty side and will go nose to nose with all three of her alphas! Laz is the leader of their ragtag bunch and exudes dominance but it’s always been her for him since he realised what a queen she is and could be for him 😍 Johan is the sweetest of the trio and through their shared love of tech form a true connection that blossoms 🥰 and then there’s Noah - rather intense and psychotic with his touch her and 💀 side 🥹
There’s some plot line but the focus is entirely on their connection and the building of this - well actually the applause already have a connection (plenty of mm scenes for you) but you realise it’s very much centred around their omega now they have her and realise she’s their scent match! There are some elements missing such as a heat scene and there’s very little mafia bits to it, it overall a good read.

Lexi Foss has written her first contemporary omegaverse, and I was there for it. I already enjoy Lexi's paranormal OV, so it wasn't hard to guess that I would enjoy this one too. It's an organized crime omegaverse, so she had me from the start.

Lark was awesome. Not only is she sassy and brave, but she's a hacker too. A good one. Good enough to steal from the mafia and use her liberated gains to create a sanctuary for omegas. Robin Hood style. The pack that hunts her down is powerful, brutal, and obsessed. Exactly how I like them. My favorite character, hands down, is Noah. He's exactly my type, a murder puppy who is good with his hands. Noah is an assassin who gives off golden retriever vibes, and I loved him.

The organized crime genre is always an interesting subject. Between the rival families, the action, and the dark edge, I was hooked. The story was good, even-level, but with a lot of spice. I would have liked it if more of the story took place in Widows Peak, so I could get a better feel for the sanctuary, but other than that, no complaints. This is a good OV if you want a grayish edge and just a smidgen of angst. Lexi combined a few of my favorite tropes: hackers, captivity, found family, and strong female characters. Lark was a fantastic read. Great if you enjoy slightly grey omegaverses.

📖: Lark (Beware Of The Widows)

Lark used her hacking skills to secure funds for Willow’s Peak by skimming from a powerful mafia family. Now, they’ve come to collect. But little does she know, they don’t want their money–they want her.

Tropes:
💻Hacker FMC
💰Billionaire MMCs
🫂Forced Proximity
💞Why choose omegaverse
🚫Touch her & 💀
🪢Knotting
💸Mafia vibes

After Lark escaped with the other women who founded Widow’s Peak, she kept her true identity hidden. Johan, the sweet hacker, Noah the unhinged enforcer, and Lazarus the mafia don (and consent king) have uncovered her identity and role in their missing funds years ago. But none were ready to learn they are scent matches.

They ache to claim her—but only on her own terms. These males are possessive and worshipful but Lark isn’t sure how to process her circumstances. I loved watching this pack’s journey as they explored control and surrender and forge a relationship where trust is earned, power is given freely, and love is reverent.

Huge thanks to the author for the review copy. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I absolutely loved this story with Lark who's a strong and independent woman who's been through a lot. And just when she thinks everythings going ok she's thrown back into the Mafia world with not one but three scent matches. First with Noah who literally proposes to her at first sight and is such a Hoot to read. And abit unhinged but that's what makes him so funny. Johan savy with his tech and the reason they found lark. But he's definitely the most gentle of the two and such a sweetheart and then there's Lazarus the head of the pack and there Dom. And You don't want to defy him unless your a certain Omega who definitely will and he'll love every minute of it. There's a lot of MM when it comes to sharing which will get supper hot especially with Lark who'll learn her limits and become a member of the pack. But she'll love every minute of it and they'll become so mush stronger together. I loved that this story was a lighter read than most. Even though it's in the Mafia world there's no mention of torture, maybe a little violence but Noah makes it lighthearted and there's always a swoon worthy ending which will make you smile and love them right till the end.

LARKS PACK (little spoiler)

I want all the missing parts. Larks heat with her pack, them purposing and what about the birth of baby, also the gender helloooo? Im curious here. The book was really good I feel like this one is my fav out of the series so far. I need more of this pack😩 Noah is a fav, but the whole pack is lethal. Lark gave in fairly easy but who could blame her😁.🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Mafia...hacker....OmegaVerse....shut up and let me read already! Ok, so for stupid reasons I decided to start this when I went to bed. Y'all, I'm too old to get less than 4 hours of sleep and then work a full day the next day. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The whole premises of the Widows is very intriguing, this is the one in a 6 book series, each written by a different author, and is so well written, I want to read the other 5 book too! Lark is an Omega, who's also a Mafia princess, who was accidently kidnapped with a group of other Omega's, accidently, because she wasn't one of the intended targets but she refused to let them go without her. She's also a hacker, a really really good one. She uses her skills to skim money from a rival mafia family and uses that to purchase a ghost town so that the omegas can have a place to escape too. Which they do eventually do.

Enter our Alpha's - Johan, the sweet one who is also a hacker, Noah who is a psychopath except to his pack and his Omega and Lazarus pack leader and Mafia Don who seems to have an icy control, but does he really? When Johan finally finds out who stole their money, all 3 are immediately smitten and come up with a plan to kidnap Lark. Poor girl, kidnapped twice. What they didnt know, is that Lark is their scent match, which is just the icing on the cake because they were gonna mate her either way. But it took a couple of years for their plan to take fruition and they all decided they would have no other female until they got her, so yeah, there's some MM scenes in here. Kinda violent MM scenes. I'm not usually big on MM, I'm more of a place all the attention on our FMC kinda reader but it was written so well that I actually kinda enjoyed it.

There's a lot of emotions in this book, some that you wouldnt expect, but it all makes for such a good read. I think, no I know, Noah was my favorite. Any time there's a big bad MMC who everyone fears but hes a total marshmallow for our FMC, its just extra delicious. Though Johan was a very close second with all his sweetness. Not saying that Laz is bad or anything, cause he was really, really good at who he was and how he treated Lark but the other two just had a little something extra. Forget it, can I just have 1 of each please? (Dont tell me husband 🤫 😂😂)

Lark is the kind of story that grabs you by the throat and refuses to let go. It’s sharp, intense, and built around a heroine who refuses to be cornered — even when three powerful, dangerous men are determined to chase her down.
Lark is not a soft, fragile lead. She’s brilliant, stubborn, and fiercely self-reliant. As a hacker operating in dangerous territory, she knows how to survive — and more importantly, how to fight back. What I loved most about her is that she never feels like a prize to be won. Even when the odds stack against her, she pushes back. She questions. She challenges. She makes the men work for every inch of ground they think they’ve claimed.
And then there are her men — each bringing something completely different to the table.
Johan meets her on an intellectual battlefield. Their connection is layered in strategy and tension, like two minds constantly trying to outmaneuver each other. There’s a respect there, even when sparks turn volatile.
Noah carries a different energy — impulsive, intense, and emotionally charged. He feels unpredictable in a way that keeps you on edge, yet there are moments where vulnerability slips through and adds depth to his character.
Then there’s Lazarus. Powerful. Possessive. Commanding. His presence shifts every scene he’s in. He’s the kind of man who expects loyalty and obedience — and watching Lark refuse to simply fall in line makes their dynamic electric.
What makes this story stand out isn’t just the heat or the danger — it’s the push and pull between independence and desire. Lark doesn’t lose herself in these relationships. Instead, the men are forced to meet her at her level. The tension feels earned. The chemistry feels volatile. And the emotional stakes stay high from start to finish.
If you love strong heroines, morally gray men, and a romance that feels like a high-risk game of power and passion, Lark absolutely delivers. And to sweeten the pot there are shared authors writing the widow series! Looking for what's next has never been easier.

I loved the previous two books in the series and usually love LCF, so I’m disappointed that this book didn’t work for me. Something about the dynamics felt way off for an Omegaverse book…

There was too much competition better the guys, which meant they didn’t feel like a cohesive group;

Lark was weirdly uncomfortable with things most Omegas do naturally and had to be coaxed into everything;

The lack of trust that still existed between them pretty much until the end of the book was infuriating;

Noah was delightful, Johan was pretty cool, and Lazarus was incredibly unlikable;

I hated that they left her alone twice without telling her what was going on and intentionally left her out of pack meetings… none of that goes along with how packs should act and contradicts their claims of being in love with her;

Where was the heat?? Why did we end the book right before her heat started? Also, why did she have to build her own nest that barely counted as a nest?

I might be on my own with this one, but I hated how much we got hit over the head about consent in this story. The characters obsessed over it to the point of it being completely ridiculous and pulling me out of the story because it disrupted what should have been a natural flow of events.

There was literally no plot in this book. What could have been a plot (the storyline with the hit on Johan) felt insignificant because it was only told. If we’d been given a chapter from one of the guys’ POV as it happened, that would have been so much better.

I also really disliked that we were out of Widows Peak for the whole book. I missed the other characters, and it further made this book feel disconnected from the other books in the series.

So after all that… I think 3 stars might be generous…

Lexi did it again…

I went into Lark by with high expectations, and somehow, it still exceeded every single one of them.

From the very beginning, the story pulls you in with an intensity that refuses to let go. The pacing is absolutely perfect—never rushed, never dragging—and every chapter reveals just enough to keep you completely invested. I found myself saying “just one more chapter” far too many times… and losing sleep because of it.

What truly sets Lark apart is the emotional depth. The characters feel raw, complex, and real, each carrying their own weight and evolution throughout the story. The chemistry is electric, the tension is palpable, and the stakes feel incredibly high the entire time. Lexi has a way of making you feel everything right alongside her characters—and I definitely did.

The world-building is immersive without being overwhelming, woven seamlessly into the narrative so that you’re not just reading the story—you’re living it. And just when I thought I had things figured out, the twists hit and completely unraveled my expectations in the best possible way.

This book is intense, emotional, addictive, and unforgettable. It left me with a full heart, a racing mind, and a serious book hangover.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An absolute must-read—I’d recommend it to anyone who loves powerful storytelling, deep emotional connections, and a plot that keeps you hooked until the very last page.

Lark - Lexi C. Foss
4.75/5✨🌟

* SPOILERS *

I swear, this series just keeps getting better and better each time you read the next installment of the next book. I’m a sucker for a mafia romance and this one had a nice twist on it.

I just love how it starts. Kidnapping and then finds out that these guys are her scent matches. She wants nothing to do with Lazarus, Johan and Noah. That first spice scene completely shocked me and that’s when I knew that these men were unhinged and I was here for it.

I really loved how Lazarus was all about consent. That text message he sent to her friend - ugh, I was swooning the whole time.

These guys needed to stop leaving Lark. She was so hurt and I loved how Laz owned out o it the second time.

Noah is definitely my favorite because he is like an overeager and excited puppy but he’s so unhinged. I knew that every single time he opened his mouth that nothing good would come out or even make sense. When he called dibs on being the daddy, I was laughing because they hadn’t even talked about it. I will say my favorite was the whole conversation of marriage.

I now have to read more books by this author because I’m hooked on her writing. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

I really want an interaction with Sloane and Noah because that would be entertaining whatsoever.

I really loved the dynamic of the guys and all in all, this was a really good book.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Hacker becomes the Queen bee

I really enjoyed getting to know Lark. I love what she contributed to Widows Peak and how that ultimately dragged her back into family business and her pack.

Lark came from a mafia family and her ending up with the girls shouldn't have happened but since she refused to use her name to get free as she wasn't willing to leave the other girls.

The men had been searching for her when they realized what she had done. They had a plan that was unexpectedly changed when they happened to be her scent matches. I love the way this came about.

Lark was strong, sassy and brilliant. She wasn't willing to roll over to these men even with the scent match. I love the way she challenged each of the men.

I loved Johan so much. He was like this big goofy golden retriever but had a switch that could be flipped when needed. He is the hacker who finally located Lark.

Noah is straight up crazy but once you are one of his people he is a fierce protector. He is crazy and b0od thirsty is all the best ways.

Lazarus is the leader and her definitely messes up several times but he does a good job making up for the mistakes.

The relationships between the men was hot and dominating. It was fun to read about their power and dominance trying to override each other. Even when one bottomed it wasn't sweet it was hot, dirty and violent in the best ways.

This pack is definitely an asset to widows peak.

Dark, addictive, and unapologetically possessive, Lark is a seductive dive into the morally gray side of romance that will leave your pulse racing.

From the moment Lark is captured, the story tightens its grip and refuses to let go.

Johan, Noah, and Lazarus aren’t your typical love interests they’re dangerous, domineering, and deliciously complex. Each man brings a distinct edge to the dynamic: cunning intelligence, unsettling unpredictability, and commanding authority. They take. They claim. They reshape the world until it fits their desires.

Lark herself is no weak heroine. Her defiance, wit, and vulnerability make her a compelling center in a story that thrives on tension and control. Watching her navigate fear, fascination, and forbidden attraction is where the book truly shines.

The romance is dark, very dark, with strong mafia themes, possessiveness, and psychological intensity that won’t be for everyone. But for readers who crave high-stakes emotion, morally questionable heroes, and a heroine caught between resistance and temptation, this book delivers in full.

Sinful, intense, and dangerously captivating, Lark is a must-read for dark romance lovers who like their stories with sharp edges and wicked promises. This wasn’t just love. This was instinct wrapped in obsession, messy, consuming, and impossible to look away from.

This is the third book in the
Beware of the Widows shared world.
What I always enjoy about these stories are the character overlapping throughout the series so with every additional book you are getting what feels like added bonus scenes.

Compared to the first two books this was definitely more lighter on the subject lines but more spicey with very detailed group play scene descriptions that this author does so well.

I appreciated how the author showcased that because of the unmanageable trama experienced by the omega and no matter how deadset she was against not being packed that once lady destiny has played her hand and blessed her with her scent-matches she finally gets her happily ever after.

But getting their is no walk in the park for them. Think stalker, possessive ruthless alphas with mafia mantality. A whole chebang of kinks and preferences from all three very different alphas who all have one mutual goal of completing their pack, cherishing and protecting their Omega at all costs

Lark - or Aurora Bianchi - was born a mafia princess, yet ran away from this life, hacked into the accounts of a rival mafia family, stole their money, and purchased a town where she built a sanctuary with another Omegas. Only, no good deeds go unpunished, and Lazarus Ferraro, the man she stole from, together with his enforcer Noah and another skilled hacker, Johan, decide it is time to claim Aurora as their own.
You can find everything you expect from such setup in this book. Set into omegaverse with mafia setting, this PNR standalone has a heroine that wants to defy the usual fate of omegas (simply submit), three overly possessive, growly alphas that don't always think with their brains and can come across as arrogant or presumptuous, and a looooot of hot scenes including all involved parties. I liked Lark's and Johan's programming skills and the way they were pushing each other to get better in their field, and found the hacker actually the most acceptable man in the trio - Noah was quite unhinged, although I had fun with the scenes involving him, and Lazarus was exactly the type of man that cannot get redemption in my eyes regardless of his motives, so I had a bit mixed feelings about the whole relationship dynamic - nevertheless, I can imagine there are plenty of readers who get their kick from this book, so all good :)

Lark by Lexi C Foss apart of Beware the Widows.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶🌶🌶🌶💀💀
I thought I'll stop at Silva but then I needed to read Lexi's story and Lark's is done. And now I am chopping at the bit to get the rest. My first read by Lexi and gurl you did goood! These toxic alphas with soft hearts melted mine, no wonder Lark was totally swept up by them.
Lark receives an ultimatum by her brother to return home. A driver named Noah will collect her soon. Only to find herself on a plane surrounded by scentmatches but, the head alpha is non other than the mob boss she pilfered upstart cash for Widows Peak, Lazarus Ferraro. Noah is his enforcer and Johan his hacker. The trap is sprung. I had so much fun reading these characters navigate, communicate and fit together to find their happily ever afters.
Tropes:
Omegaverse. Toxic alphas. Only soft for her. MM. DVP. Heats and knots. Forced Proximity. Mafia. Touch-her-you-die.
Quote:
“Mmm, I can’t wait to make you buzz,” he whispers against my ear. “My sweet little bee.”

You’ve been our obsession for years, Lark. There’s no one else. Just you.

“Have you lost your mind?” He considers me for a moment. “My mind, no. My heart might be a different story, though.”

This is the first book I have read in this multi author series but now I am definitely up for reading the others.
Lark is an expert hacker who years ago stole money from Lazarus Ferraro so she could buy a town, Widows Peak, where her and her friends could escape to, away from an evil organization who was in the business of taking and then selling omegas. Johan, the Ferraro hacker manages to track her down and when the Ferraro pack discover who she is and why she took the money watched her, for years, first of all with revenge in mind, then they deciding that she will be theirs. And now they are coming for their omega.

I really loved the characters in this book, Lark was so feisty and wasn't going to submit easily, Noah (my favourite) had quite a dark nature but was actually hilarious, I laughed so much at both his actions and words! Johan was a more softer character but the very intelligent hacker did also have a possessive streak it just wasn't so blatently on display as the other mmc's and Lazarus who was a tough no nonsense leader but was very big on consent and made it clear from the start that nothing would happen against her will.
I have read books by this author before but this was hands down my favourite and I highly recommend this this book

Such a good time! This is a complete standalone in the Beware of the Widows series, with various authors, and can be read on its own. This was the first I’ve picked up of the series, but I will definitely be picking up the rest! In the series, we follow a group of Omegas, who have escaped human trafficking and now reside in Widows Peak. In this story, we follow Lark, the hacker and mastermind of the town Widows Peak. Unfortunately, or not, her past life and actions are catching up with her. She finds herself kidnapped and taken back into the mafia world by a rival family, and it just so happens, they are also her scent matches. They have spent years tracking her down and now they are going to make her their mafia queen. But, Lark has never wanted to be a kept, mafia queen. These four have a lot to work through. This one kept me turning the pages, desperate to find out what happened next. The guys were completely unhinged! I loved it! Can’t wait to continue the series!

Thank you Lexi C. Foss for the ARC!

4.75 spicy spicy stars! I will start by saying I'm a long time huge fan of Lexi C. Foss. This is very much in line with her PNR omegaverse books, also bringing in her brilliance at why choose romance, but this time in the contemporary space. Add a touch (or douse) of mafia, and you have a fantastic addition to the Beware of the Widows universe.

Will try my best to make this as spoiler free as possible. Suffice to say, Lark (aka Aurora) is a big reason that the Widows have their town of Widows Peak to call home. And the driving force of that reason is one that one else is aware of, except for Laz, Noah, and Johan. And they want their own form of revenge, in a manner of speaking. Essentially having st@lked her for years, the three Alphas finally strike, determined to make Lark/Aurora their Omega. But Lark is skeptical, to say the least, and these three very different alphas all have their ways of showing Lark that they're serious when they say that she is theirs.....and they are hers. Oh, and they belong to each other too. The MMM part of the MMMF definitely is front and center quite a bit, and I loved every second of their interactions (in and out of the bedr00m).

This is a fantastic story with a strong female character who is also vulnerable, and definitely falls within the omegaverse hierarchy. But it's also 3 strong alphas who are soft in their own ways for their intended omega, and will destroy anyone or anything that dares to hurt her or come between them. Loved the way it all played out, and the ending was extremely satisfying in every way.

Loved the tension between the characters and the variety in the men’s personalities.
Lark is exactly the kind of FMC I gravitate toward: snarky, smart, highly competent, with just enough petty and sarcasm to keep things fun. I also appreciated her strong sense of justice and willingness to act on it—she felt like she should have been the emotional anchor of the story.
I went in expecting a darker romance, but it didn’t quite hit the depth I was hoping for. It felt more like hints of dark rather than fully committing to it—not necessarily a bad thing, just different from what I anticipated.
Where the book lost me a bit was in the relationship development. The trust between Lark and the men felt fragile at best, and while there were big gestures after major mistakes, we seemed to skip over meaningful redemption and jump straight into forgiveness. For a character like Lark, that didn’t feel entirely believable—I wanted more tension, more consequences, and more time spent rebuilding trust.
Overall, I did enjoy the book, but it left me feeling like something was missing—especially in delivering on the emotional payoff the story seemed to promise.

i actually really liked this!!! this is the first of this series that i read because i know i’m not a big fan of the other authors in the series.

it’s a little light on a significant plot arc, but at the same time it was also just fun to read. i liked spending time with these characters because they were engaging and clever and the chemistry in this book is so fun. it could’ve been more detailed about lark and her “white hat hacking” which gets mentioned exactly one time and never again.

i do wish that this book had more going on, and i think that making it a slower burn would really ratchet up that tension, but i realize that that’s a pretty specific me thing because i always want romances to move slower.

but the guys, especially noah, are just so much fun in this book.

as i’m writing this, i’m realizing that i’m torn because on the one hand, i really liked what was there to read, but i also wish that there was more of everything, more being shown instead of told about things. we’re told about the hit situation, we’re told about lark’s brother, we’re told about lark’s dad’s death, but we don’t actually get any scenes depicting any of these situations, which is frustrating.

It's the way I was giggling and kicking my feet reading this. And I'm not even sure this is the kind of book where one should even be doing that. But Noah was just hilarious. Unhinged, but hilarious.

I've been on a mafia romance kick recently, so this book came at the perfect time. It's a little lighter than some of the others that I've read, but that's not a bad thing, and I kind of enjoyed that aspect since most mafia romances are dark or extremely dark.

I loved how the three alphas were so obsessed with Lark and were impressed that she managed to steal the money from them---specifically Laz---in the first place. Most people in his position would be mad as hell and instead he was like "That one. I want that one." Which, honestly, more power to him. Johan was more of a sweet and caring one, which is probably a good thing when you have two other alphas like Noah and Laz.

Lark is definitely not your average mafia princess, and she makes it clear that she wasn't going to be like her mother, who was definitely more of a traditional mafia wife, and one she didn't even have a close relationship with. She is definitely an omega who takes no shit.

All in all, it was a great read. Lexi has done it again.

Beware of the Widows.

Lark is the hacker of the Widows and her secrets includes how she funded the purchase Widows Peak with funds she stole from her Mafia Family’s rivals!

Enter the pack of Alphas that have been obsessed with her for years!

💚Johan, the cunning fellow hacker who identified her.
💚Noah, the psychotic guy but secret Labrador(only for her)
💚Lazarus, Head Alpha and Mafia Don. Makes the rules and bends for no one (except her…)

This was a fantastic addition the to The Widows series and Lexi has smashed it again. I loved how while it was insta love ,as it tends to be in Omegaverse, it was well done and Lark didn’t loose her spark or morals along the way.

These guys are obsessed and want to make Lark their Queen and are willing to do everything they can to prove they want an equal not a trophy. The plot line was great and I loved that guys were all together as well making this story slightly different. The banter was also top tier and it was hilarious to see how they all interacted together.

Here are some tropes you can expect to find:

💚 Pregnancy/Br33ding
💚 Forced Proximity
💚 Touch Her & ☠️
💚 Knotting
💚 Nesting
💚 Purring
💚Group Play with MM content

All in all, I can’t wait to read the rest of the Widows stories!

Lark is a hacker that somethings she did in the past, out of desperation, haunt her. But, things are not as them seem to a degree. She has this feisty personality that has you loving her personality right from the beginning. You do not need to have read any of the books from this world to completely understand what occurs throughout the story. One thing I wish was more clear in the blurb or at the end of the blurb was that it contains M/M. I am not against it and do enjoy some but wasn’t aware from the blurb that it contains it. It also is a little heavier than I normally read with books that contain M/M. I absolutely enjoyed the three alphas in the story. Lazarus is your strong dominant type but has an absolute softer side to the ones he cares about. Johan is your caretaker and peacemaker of the group. Noah is our amazing psycho that will have you laughing out loud at times. His humor is hilarious and his antics are fantastic. The story is extremely well written and developed. It is will definitely keep you engaged and wanting more.

This book is a standalone story within a shared world series.

I enjoyed the relationship between Lark and her three men—Johan, Noah, and Lazarus—watching them go from unsure and untrusting to a pack was a wild, dark ride.

I really liked how different the three men were. Johan is the hacker who actually tracked her down, Noah is a loose cannon but surprisingly sweet with her and is a bizarre unhinged golden retriever, and Lazarus is the powerful leader who holds everything together. The way they all became so possessive and protective of her made for a very, very steamy read, and I liked seeing Lark slowly realise that she might actually belong with them.

The story could be quite heavy and dark, not with the mafia element, but more with the smexy times - there is a plot, but it is predominantly all about making Lark part of their pack, and how they try to convince her.

Consent is a huge part of this story, its mentioned throughout and is a main theme between the pack.

It's certainly got my interest in reading more from the series.

Omg! Omg! Omg! I absolutely loved Lark’s story in the Beware of the Widows shared world!

This contemporary omegaverse with a mafia twist was such an enjoyable read. Lark is a total badass—her feisty, take-no-nonsense personality made her so fun to follow.

And the alphas? Absolutely top tier.
Laz, Johan, and Noah each brought something different to the pack. Laz, the mafia don and top alpha, definitely starts off a bit of a dick—but it fits his role perfectly. Johan is the sweet, softer alpha who almost gives off beta vibes, and then there’s Noah… the chaotic, hilarious assassin who completely stole the show for me.

The chemistry and banter between everyone was so good, and of course, the spicy moments were very hot 🔥

This was such a fun, addictive omegaverse read that I couldn’t get enough of.

What to expect:

🐺 Contemporary Omegaverse
🔥 AAAO (Alpha/Alpha/Alpha/Omega)
🖤 Knotting, Purring, Nesting, Growling & Biting
👃 Scent Matches
🔫 Kidnapping
🛡️ Three Overprotective Alphas
💻 Feisty Hacker FMC
🖤 MM Content
🏠 Forced Proximity

Spice Rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I absolutely love the idea behind Beware of the Widows. Six omegas that escape the place that kidnapped them and form their town, Widows Peak, a safe haven for omegas. Six standalone stories by five different authors.

Lark is the third story released and tells the tale of Lark, an omega and talented hacker who found the land and got the money to establish Widows Peak. But her past is catching up to her quickly as mafia don Laz Ferraro and his pack have located Lark and are coming her.

Things I absolutely loved about this story: Lark is a feisty omega and isn’t afraid to growl. Although hesitant and unsure, Lark is open to her scent matches. Consent is huge in this story and Laz, Noah, and Johan repeatedly keep each other in check and make sure Lark knows how important it is. Noah is a freaking riot. Absolutely love the nickname Little Bee 🐝💛

Tropes featured include scent matches mates, mafia packs, omega in hiding, protective and obsessed alphas. Definitely read the warnings. This book has some dark aspects and a lot of different bedroom scenes.
