Overall I've been really impressed with this series. While it's a lighter read than what I usually go for, I really like how the author reconstructs the usual tropes of adventure stories and instead of having to suspend my disbelief, I'm genuinely impressed with how much sense certain writing decisions make.
Otherwise, the level of writing is consistent with previous books and definitely belongs to the most thought out stories I've read. I'm genuinely happy I found this series and I really wish it got more attention.
