Great example of using different ways to problem solve. A great lesson plan: reenacting the story. Perfect tool for exploring chronological order.

This book is a great book about why friendship can be a need in life. The lesson this book tells me is that when you stick together, you can always overcome anything in your way. This reminds me of the show "Total Drama Island". The Episode was about the campers watching a movie of a psycho chainsaw killer and then the killer coming to 'real life' on the show. In the show, the goth girl (couldn't recall her name)had a plan to stick together. However no one listened to her.

This is a fun book to read! Many students are familiar with this story, and it would be a fun one to act out in class!
