Bryn is now happily dating Cale, who is not only her boyfriend but band mate in Everlasting. After the aftermath of an event gone wrong, Bryn is struggling to pick up the pieces and discover herself while Cale is struggling with something entirely different. What lifts up her spirits is her two best friends, Gina & Bethany, are riding along on the tour bus as the official "Everlasting Groupies."
The thing he thought he had under control in his life had come back to strike with a vengeance. His battle to keep himself sane while focusing on a new tour is killing him inside. He is doubting that Bryn should even be with him, but once his secret gets out to her, he knows she won't ever trust him again.
Join Bryn, Cale and the rest of the crew from "Everlasting" as they embark on their next tour, facing plenty of cat fights, drama on stage and off, and lies that could possibly tear up the band, and their relationship, for good.
Wow! What a ride! From My heart picks up pretty much right where the last book ended. We were left with so many questions, wondering how everyone was doing and how everyone would cope with the things that have happened........
From My Heart took me on one crazy journey. Cale and Bryn are trying to find themselves. And are learning how the decisions they make, impact their life. Being a rockstar didn't make things any easier. Cale was struggling to battle his addictions and he made some pretty terrible choices. And some of Bryn's choices weren't much better. I'm not a big fan of cheating, even if it's just a kiss. Bryn and Cale's relationship was one interesting one. At times, it might have even seemed a little toxic. When things were going good, man were they good. But, when they weren't....you better watch out. Never a dull moment, that's for sure. It leaves you wondering if love is enough??
I'm not going to say anything else, because I don't want to spoil the story for you. Overall, I did find From My Heart to be very enjoyable. It was a quick and easy read for me. The story was captivating and kept we wanting to know more. The characters were complex and their struggles were very real. I loved all the drama, angst, secrets/lies and romance. I think the story wrapped up pretty nicely, but did leave room for another possible book. Breigh Forstner is still a pretty new author to me, and I'm looking forward to reading more from her in the future.

From my heart is the continuation story of Straight From the heart by Breigh Forstner. You need to read Straight from my Heart before you read From my Heart as book 1 ends on a cliffhanger and reading From my heart first will make no sense. I enjoyed book 1 and I was very glad to get book 2 to find out what happens with a Cale and Bryn and to see if they could have a happy ever after? I personally think book 2 was better than book 1. I thought the story was more gripping and more enjoyable. The story carried on straight from the cliffhanger. I don't want to spoil the story for anyone so I don't say what happens at the start of the story, all I will say is that what happens is what most of book 2 focuses on. All the characters, specially Cale and Bryn are learning to understand, cope and deal with everything that has happened to them and their friends which is really hard and quite emotional. Everything that has happened has had such a impact on their lives and the tour that reading about everything they have to cope with, all their raw emotions really made this book better than book 1. This story was defiantly one hell of a journey. Even though everyone is trying to heal and move on, Cale has extra problems trying to cope with his addiction that he has kept a secret. Cale is a good person, but his addiction is starting to take over him and changing his behaviour. I don't agree with some of the things he has done or does whilst he's struggling with his addiction, he's treatment towards Bryn is very questionable and not he best. I felt extremely sorry for her at points throughout the story because of Cales treatment towards her. She never deserved the things he did to her. At the same time though I was hoping someone would rescue Cale and get him the help he desperately needed. Even though he's treatment to others wasn't the best because of his addiction, I could understand how a addiction takes over the body and it's not easy to just stop or to see how your treating others. As I could understand Cale and his addiction, it didn't stop me loving him. I just wanted him to get the help he needed. Bryn wasn't exactly coping well in this book either. She also did things that was wrong. As you read the book though you get a understanding of how much they are all coping with so the fact they are acting out of character can be understood and lost forgiven. The book is very well written and about learning to heal, grow up and owning up to your mistakes. This story still had its secrets and plenty of drama to keep you hooked. I'm really hoping their is another book in the series as I felt Cale and Bryn's story isn't over. This was a emotional, entertaining story that takes you on a heartbreaking ride with very damaged people. 4.5 Stars

When the 1st book ended, we were left wondering how everyone was doing. With Cale shot, Bryn hurt and other band mates also hurt..this book started exactly where the first one left off. While everyone copes with what happened, they also had to think about their upcoming tour while healing.
I love Cale and how he was in the first book, I’m not really sure what I feel about him on this 2nd book. Cale was all over the place, while he battles with his addiction, he kept that a secret from Bryn who he claims he loves. I do feel bad for Cale, while he battled his addiction, but I was not ok with him and the things he did. One, he kisses their band tour mate Kallie on stage for the show (who has the hots for him), which is not ok with me. I am sorry, but when you are in a serious loving relationship you should know better than agree with the bitchy Kallie’s idea, even if it’s just for the show.
Bryn wasn’t any better herself, she kissed her boyfriend’s best friend out of spite. I am not at all for cheating, but I get it. Her boyfriend hurt her and she did something stupid while she was in pain. This book is like a roller coaster ride, Bryn and Cale are good then they're not. You just never know how they will be, even after a sexy moment.
This book is about Bryn and Cale finding themselves and finding their way on how to deal with life. Growing up or not, they were trying their best while being rock stars. Mistakes made? That’s exactly what Bryn and Cale did a lot of, which is acceptable since it is part of growing up. Both made mistakes left to right.
I hope that there is a book 3 about Cale and Bryn, because this story was left open. Also, I was not satisfied with the way it ended, it was missing the love and the steam that Cale and Bryn had with the first book. As I am a romantic, I was missing those and wanted more love in the book. So I will hope for that on their 3rd book.
The story could have been so much better, with the great characters from book one, but unfortunately this second book just wasn't cutting it for me.
First it seems that it repeated the same stuff over and over just in different section of the book.
Bryn was no longer the strong kick ass leading female but a jealous crybaby. She cried about useless stuff on what seemed every other page. Then she goes and makes so many dumb mistakes. Yes, I am aware that she is 18, however in the first book she seemed much more mature, what happened to the character from book one!! It was very disappointing and I didn't enjoy her character in this book. I really wanted to see what happens to Cole but I don't know if I can put myself through another book it it's like this one.
As for Cole, typical rock band stuff, drug addiction, drinking binges, females, partying. At least his character stayed the same, besides when he became sappy and kitty wiped, I still enjoyed his character and his POV.
Because I was upset that this story wasn't getting better and just dragged, I noticed more grammar errors and they got on my nerves more so then when I find them in a good story, like in book one, there were a few but didn't grind my nerves like this one did.
Good luck getting though it and if you read the first one you will want to see what happens. My recommendation, just grit your teeth and bear it, cross your fingers that number three is much better because Cole makes a decision that will take you into book three. Therefore, will I read book three? Yes, I have to see how it turns out.
Wow, that was a damn good book, I didn't want to see it end (no cliff hanger) I hope there will be more from these two soul mates Bryn and Cale. They had some great times but Cale was faced with his monumental secret that he wanted to tell Bryn but couldn't tell her, Poor Bryn she never thought she would have to face off with a female singer that was trying to take her man away from her then Kallie Cooper, through out the tour or actually before the tour even started with a photo shoot, seeing Cale with his hands all over Kallie that's when she started to get a rebellious streak to put her claim on Cale as much as possible around this other or even any women showing him any interest. But love isn't always flowers and gifts, these two love birds will have to fight to keep their love alive. You will love this book, if you got hooked on the fist then you will be addicted to this one and wont be able to put it down.

From My Heart picks up where the first book ended, so you do need to read that one first. I don't want to give too much away in this review incase you haven't read the first book yet. I will say that Cale and Bryn are now in a relationship. It's not always easy dating the person you're also in a band with! There is so much that has happened with both Cale and Bryn and also with the band members. It's honestly just one hell of a ride!
If you're a fan of rockstar romances, this is another enjoyable read to check out! Just make sure you read Straight From the Heart first! Breigh Forstner writes characters whom you will fall in love with and feel their emotions right along beside them! She definitely knows how to make her characters worm their way into your heart!
This book picks up where the first left off. Cale is in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Once again I found glaring(to me) timeframe issues. The man is recovering from extensive injuries and the operations to fix things. Suddenly he is up and recovering much quicker than I can believe is possible. This is my main reason for a 3 star instead of a 4 star. Otherwise I enjoyed the storyline, tho Bryn and Cale's "Friend" kissing more than one time irritated me to hell and back. Cale made a couple of stupid decisions concerning Lucy, the second one would have had me kicking his ass all over the place. I was happy with how Cale finally figured out how to handle his "secret" addiction.
I do look forward to reading the third book, which is Lucy and Pauly's story.
This is the continuing story of Bryn and Cale - book two in the Straight From the Heart series. Bryn, Cale and a couple of the other bandmates are recovering after being attacked at the end of their last tour. As Bryn deals with all the details of the event, Cale is trying to deal with it in his own way, knowing if she finds out it may destroy their relationship. The new tour comes with so much for Bryn and Cale to deal with. Can their love survive all that comes their way???
This story has it all - a great group of friends, a rock tour, lots of drama, secrets and love. Breigh writes a great story that you won't want to put down as you go on the ride with Everlasting!
I enjoyed continuing Cale and Bryn's story!! I wanted to smack these characters on second, then hug them the next. Such a great rock romance already continued onto book 3 I highly recommend!!
