Cold nights. Hot kisses... On a much-needed ski getaway with her girlfriends, the last person Reyna Allen wants to run into is the lawyer who ruined her life. The tattoo artist's bitter divorce left her with nothing, and she blames her ex-husband's attorney, Garrison Richards. Now firelight dinners, winter walks in the Adirondacks and toe-curling chemistry are daring her to give in to the one man she refuses to ever trust. Garrison is good at his job-and where Reyna's concerned, he may have been a little too good. He regrets the role he played in her divorce and intends to show Reyna that he's found his moral compass since then. But as their mutual heat thaws her resolve, will doubts put the freeze on their relationship-before he can convince her that they're the ones meant for happily -ever-after?

Great book, story flows very easily, characters are realistic and is described naturally...Reyna and Garrison, their love was so sweet and beautiful...highly recommend! .
This is what I call good reading material. It was like I was in the story sharing the different experience with the characters. Love this book to death, highly recommended.
I loved the characters, but I felt like their story was a little rushed. I would have loved to sit in their story a little longer and stretch out them getting to know each other.
Reyna and Garrison could seem to be an unlikely couple..he is a lawyer. She is a tattoo artist. He her ex's divorce attorney. She the victim of his work. However, the impact she made on him five years earlier was still there. They did have in common the love of the ski resort that brought them together. This story is endearing in that for all the awful things Reyna thought of Garrison he was able to redeem himself of. I related to this story in the way the author displayed that men and women process things very differently. In addition, she clearly displayed that men can feel as deeply as women do and that even the workaholics need love too...
I loved his friend Wolfe and I hope he and his friend will get a story as well...First read of this author but would read other books of hers as well..
This was a quick read that I literally zipped through on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The author handles the shorter category format well and drops us right into the middle of the action, backtracking on history and character development. It makes for a quick read - but can lead to some moments of info-dumping (although those moments are blessedly brief). There were times I wanted less of the girlfriends and more of the hero and heroine together. I also wasn't totally enamored with the turn one of the girlfriends' divorce takes in relation to the hero's involvement.
This was a new-to-me-author and there was enough on the page that I'd read another book by this writer. Solid.
This is the first book I've read by this Author and I must say it's definitely not my last by a longshot. Totally enjoyed Snowy Mountain Nights had my attention from the beginning to the end and I couldn't put it down finished it in one sitting, couldn't put it down a total page-tuner. Loved the chemistry between Garrison & Reyna, a lawyer and a tattoo artist total opposites but with some toe-curling chemistry and trust issues, those cold nights turn in hot kisses. The characters and story was amazing and I highly recommend this book yo won't be disappointed. Lindsay Evans job well done.
Sadly, there were craft issues here. I had a difficult time reading past the sentence fragments, mixed metaphors and multiple parenthetical elements in a single sentence. Plus there was some infodumping early on that I know I have a particularly low tolerance for at the moment. I just couldn't lose myself in the story. Too bad since the tattoo artist heroine was compelling. I'd be willing to give the writer another try, just hopefully on a better edited book.
It started out a little slow, but got better as the story developed. Reyna Allen is on a ski getaway with girlfriends when she runs into her ex's attorney, Garrison Richards. Reyna doesn't trust Garrison, but he has changed his morality and become more humane. There's chemistry between them and it's an uphill battle.
Sexy, high pro file divorce lawyer Garrison Richards can win a case with little or no effort. But when it come to his personal life he is tongue-tied and always says the wrong thing. Great story with characters that kept you wanting to know what next. I don't ski but I enjoyed playing in the snow in the Adirondack Mountains.
"Every page is dripping with emotion, making it all too easy for readers to lose themselves in the story and fall in love with the characters. There is great imagery used that depicts the different settings and the characters in ways that make the book come alive" (RT Book Reviews, 4 stars).
Thank you Ms. Evans for a wonderful book! I could not put this book down! I Loved the characters, and the beautiful setting. I would definitely recommend this book! Great Job.
It's been a few years since I picked up a category, and I'm not used to the pacing anymore. I'd be interested to see what the author will write in the future.
