closer, foretelling doomsday, while a rare
psychological disorder lurks beneath the surface.

fuelled by superhero strength?
Is the entity real, or just a delulu shaped by myth and mental colonisation?

This is really fun, and a return to the style of The Sleepwalker’s Lullaby for Makwana. I don't want to give away too much of the plot here, but I’ll say that from my point of view (definitely not a scientist!) this all seems very plausible. I enjoyed working my way through the scientific parts, myth parts, logic parts, AI, and psychological technology trying to picture what was being built, and there were enough thrill parts to allow me to stay awake between those parts. Recommended!

Loved the protagonists Mohini, her transformation from paralysed woman to superwoman was remarkable. And iGenie.. just mesmerising. Strongly recommend to them who craves for novelty!!

The Whispering Delulu surprised me. At first, I thought it would be just another psychological thriller, but the twists were sharp and intelligent. The way the story plays with perception reminded me of Interstellar and other Christopher Nolan films– nothing is what it seems. Very cleverly written. A perfect movie material.

There’s a certain thrill in picking up a book by an author you already trust to mess with your mind — in the best way possible. For me, that’s what happened when I cracked open The Whispering Delulu by Dr. Sohil Makwana. I’d read his Murdrum duology and The Sleepwalker’s Lullaby before, so I knew to expect sharp twists and a mind-bending premise. What I didn’t expect was just how strange, layered, and intoxicating this new one would be. It’s the kind of book that refuses to sit quietly in your mind; it pokes, teases, and whispers to you long after you’ve put it down.

At its heart, the story follows Mohini — who wakes from a coma with no memory, paralysed, and trapped in a wheelchair. No past, no identity, no anchor to the world. The only constant is the mysterious man who claims to care for her and the strange yellow pill he places on her tongue. And then comes the whisper. Not just a voice, but a high-tech entity promising her the strength of a superwoman. Somewhere in the shadows, an ancient prophecy stirs, one that hints at doomsday and threads itself into her fractured sense of reality. Is she simply the victim of a bizarre psychological disorder, or is she something far more dangerous?

Makwana’s writing is a fascinating cocktail — part clinical precision, part fever dream. You feel the medical expertise in the way he sketches rare disorders like Munchausen syndrome by proxy, but he doesn’t forget to infuse it with myth, sensory imagery, and moments that feel like they could belong in a Christopher Nolan screenplay. He shifts between timelines and perspectives with the confidence of someone who knows exactly how much to reveal and when. The result is a narrative that keeps you off balance but never completely lost — the perfect state for a thriller like this.

Mohini herself is unforgettable. She’s not your standard superhero figure; her transformation from a helpless, paralysed woman to something far more powerful is messy, painful, and deeply human. And then there’s iGenie, the mysterious, possibly imaginary companion — equal parts eerie and oddly comforting. Their relationship, strangely tender in places, became one of my favourite parts of the book.

The plot is a tautly woven net of multiple timelines, flashbacks, and rapid shifts in tension. One moment, you’re immersed in Mohini’s slow, nerve-wracking recovery; the next, you’re plunged into a high-octane sequence where nothing feels certain. The twists aren’t just tacked-on surprises — they’re the kind that make you mentally flip back through earlier chapters to see how you missed the clues.

Underneath all the suspense, the novel wrestles with themes of identity, manipulation, and the way stories — myths, prophecies, even lies we tell ourselves — shape reality. It also brushes against darker societal undercurrents: the psychological scars of colonisation, the ethics of medical intervention, the fragility of trust. The book made me think about how easily perception can be engineered, how truth and delusion sometimes wear the same face.

The emotional ride was intense. There were moments that punched me in the gut — Mohini’s confusion, her first taste of strength, the flicker of hope in the unlikeliest places. And then there were stretches that left me feeling deliciously uneasy, like I’d just heard someone breathe behind me in an empty room.

Makwana’s strengths here are undeniable: his ability to blend medical realism with speculative invention, his knack for writing twists that feel both shocking and inevitable, and his creation of a central character who is both fragile and formidable. If I had to nitpick, I’d say some of the more technical sections — especially the pill mechanics and certain survival calculations — ran a little long for my taste. I get the intent (and fans of hard science fiction will eat it up), but I occasionally found myself skimming. Still, the momentum always pulled me back in.
Personally, this book hit that sweet spot between cerebral and visceral. If you’ve ever enjoyed films like Inception, Interstellar, or the disorienting mind games of M. Night Shyamalan, you’ll feel right at home here. It’s also a great pick for readers looking to push beyond standard thrillers into something stranger, more ambitious, and unapologetically genre-bending.

By the time I closed the book, I wasn’t just impressed — I was unsettled in a way I secretly love. It’s the rare thriller that makes you both race through pages and pause to sit with its ideas. For me, The Whispering Delulu was a solid 4.5 out of 5 — a book I’ll be pressing into the hands of anyone who says, “I want something different.” Just be warned: it whispers back.

There’s something really exciting about stories that make you wonder what’s real and what’s not. The Whispering Delulu by Dr. Sohil Makwana is one of those stories. It’s a wild mix of myth, science, and psychological mystery that keeps you hooked from beginning to end.

The main idea of the book is how stories and myths can influence what we believe, sometimes even controlling our minds. The story starts with a woman who wakes up from a coma with no memory. She doesn’t remember her past, and she’s stuck in a wheelchair, feeling helpless. Then strange whispers begin to haunt her, and a mysterious yellow pill is given to her. Is it helping her, or is it something dangerous? Is she imagining things, or is something real happening?

The book explores some pretty deep themes. It asks questions like: Can myths turn into manipulation? Can the way we’ve been told to see the world mess with our minds? And can someone rise above their fears and become a hero… or fall into delusion? The story connects these ideas in a way that keeps you thinking while also being exciting to read.

The way the book is written is quick and engaging. Dr. Makwana’s background in mental health and science makes the story feel believable, even with its fantastical parts. The plot jumps between the woman’s confusing present and hints of ancient stories and future technology. This back-and-forth keeps things interesting and makes you question what’s real and what’s just in her head.

What I liked most is how the story shows how complicated the mind can be. The main character’s mental state is shown with kindness and understanding. It makes you think about mental health and how outside influences—like myths or propaganda—can shape what we believe. The story reminds us that the line between being a hero and a villain, or a victim and a predator, can be very thin.

The tone of the book is respectful and caring. It doesn’t judge the character’s struggles, and it shows that mental health issues are real and often complex. But it also offers a little hope — the idea that maybe she can find her strength and break free from these stories that are trapping her. The ending isn’t simple, and that’s what makes it so interesting. It makes you think about what it really means to be strong and how much of ourselves is really ours.

This book feels like talking to a clever friend who loves mysteries and surprises. It’s easy to relate to because it talks about questions everyone has — about identity, trust, and what we believe is true. The questions the story asks stay with you long after you finish reading.

In the end, The Whispering Delulu isn’t just a sci-fi mystery. It’s a story about how the stories we tell ourselves can either keep us trapped or help us become stronger. It’s a mind-twister that makes you think about reality, myths, and how powerful our minds really are. It’s a great read for anyone who loves stories that make you question what’s real and explore the mysterious ways our minds work.

I must say I’m a big fan of the author’s previous thrillers and my excitement had no bounds when I got to know about the new book by him and didn’t give a second thought to pick up this book. After reading this book I must definitely say that this book is another masterpiece penned by the author..

The main protagonist of the book Mohini, a woman who came out of coma trapped in a wheelchair with no memories of her past and no clue about the present or her future. Her husband Rohit was devoted to her and took care of her in all possible ways by feeding her , cleaning her and also giving her medicines to recover. Such a wonderful husband he is, doesn’t he?? Or, is there any other reason for his devotion?

Breaking her routine with Rohit and herself, she hears a voice… A voice that claims to be an invisible high tech entity which also knows the truth of her miserable life and also can free her from the wheelchair life… That's when she started following the voice… But what is this invisible entity?? Is that entity real?? Or is it just her mind playing tricks??? Delusion or Delulu as we say, is that really what is happening to her?? Or if the entity is real, what is it going to get by curing her?? Is this really a delusion or a prophecy running by someone behind??

Sounds quite fascinating doesn't it?? To find out the answers , dive into this spellbinding psychological thriller and mystery , where the thin line between imagination and reality begins to blur and test your sanity to an extent that everything that is true feels quite wrong and everything that is wrong feels so right… With a skillful blend of twists and turns along with a combination of science , myths and facts , the author narrated a story that explores the darkest sides of our mind which keeps you hooked till the end…

Caution: Keep a check on your levels of sanity while reading the book, who knows you could also hear some voices out of your loneliness if you are…

Or if you are a person who feels that Delulu is Solulu, then this dark, twisted, fast paced and mind blowing Sci-Fi mystery thriller journey is ready for you to dive in… I’m very much sure that this book will definitely be one of your favorite reads of the year…
Highly recommended!! Happy Reading…

Thriller ( medical/science &tech/psychology)

Rating- 5/5

Once a nurse, Mohini now lay trapped in a wheelchair. She has no recollection of the life she once lived. She felt suffocated by her confinement. In the emptiness of her existence, she found no reason to go on untill an unseen voice promises to make her walk again and even make her talk to her dead daughter. This voice in her ear became her companion- always answering and guiding, as if watching her every move. Is Mohini Hallucinating ?? Is this voice real or some figment of her imagination?

What can i say, as always the author never disappoints. Another thriller that made me go 'OMG, what did i just read!'. An amazing blend of science & tech, medicine, myths and psychology. The question of 'real or madness' fuels the suspense. The entire scenario seems plausible. Imagine what will happen if tech takes over completely and humans are just puppets in their hands. Very bone-chilling. Its thought provoking. It shows the weakness of human mind. It also has a pinch of philosophical and emotional angle which was beautifully showcased. I like how age old myths clash with modern science. The mention of various medicines and medical conditions & procedures just added to the thrill. The kaliyuga-satiyuga element was another great addition which will make you question that where we are headed. The twist & turns in the story will leave you in awe. It's super fast paced and engaging. Never a dull moment. The author has weaved everything so beautifully such that it all fits so perfectly. Its mind blowing.

It's not just a thriller but it will give you something to think about 'Are we using the technology or technology is using us?'. What will happen in future if technology takes over completely?
It will keep you thinking long after you have turned the last page.

Highly recommended. Whether you are a beginner or high level reader, dont miss this out

The ending is thrilling and it is a masterpiece the author has created, mind blowing plot and marvelous illustration of the story and I believe it could be blockbuster movie if it is made.

OMG such an exhilarating fast paced story I have read this year, incredible, I can't express my everlasting gratitude towards the author writing style, malevolent story.

Hats off to the author imagination and how he put the story by giving the touch of modern science and using the some stories of Mahabharata and Vishnu Puran, it feels incredible how he used those stories to make his story plot more strong and look promising and authentic.

I am now fully impressed with his writings I would be looking forward to read more of his book soon, such a mastermind writer he is, I am amazed by his mind.

A thrilling experience reading this book, it is a fast paced story, it's a rollercoaster ride and I am glad that i got this book, a beautifully marvel piece of writing author has presented in the book.

The plot of the book has potential to be a blockbuster series as this one has everything and it's thrilling to experience in real time as I was plunged into the world the author created.

Generally I write about the glimpse of the book but this time I will keep it hidden totally as if I write about it, I am afraid I can give spoiler.

I am impressed by the style of the author, how he promoted two of his book in the story itself giving the character more weightage by comparing it to the character of previous books.

I read this book with my buddy and it was confounding, our discussion about the scenes and the story of the book and author weaving style, we read together and discussed everything and had a good experience reading this book.

I will recommend this book to every readers who loves a page turner book and a thrilling paced story, you are gonna love it.

Go grab this book and start reading this action packed gripping story.

The Whispering Delulu: A Psycho-Mytho-Sci-Fi Mystery Packed with Twists You Can’t Escape
by Sohil Makwana

Are the voices in our mind and ear a delusion or real?

The Whispering Delulu is written by Dr Sohil Makwana. It is a psychological thriller with a touch of mythology in it. We find a mixture of science in the fiction too.

"Kaliyug is the demon that resides within every human being."

The main protagonist is Mohini, who is suffering from memory loss, partial immobility and depression due to her recent accident and current situation. Her husband, Dr Rohit, assists her in all aspects but she starts suspecting him because of a yellow pill. Gradually she recovers her partial memory of the loss of her kids and starts regarding her husband as the traitor behind her current situation.

The human mind is very strange and full of complexities. When we let it free, it makes us wander to unknown paths and doubt even the innocent ones.

"Desire, greed, distrust, fury, hatred and arrogance: these are the six sins of human flesh."

The moment when I switched between the prologue and the first chapter, it hit me hard to see the transformation. The shift from Mohini as a superwoman avatar to her being restricted to a wheelchair.

The story has lots of surprises and unexpected twists. It will trick your mind and traumatize you untill you reach the end. A fast-paced story which will not let you rest until you complete it. It will set your heart racing until we reach the climax. The climax itself is a great shock for the readers. High voltage drama which it is highly recommended for thriller fans.

"Har ek manav ke andar ek danav hota hain. Kintu jo is danav ko bahar aane na de, wohi sacha manav hota hain."

The Whispering Delulu exceeds all the ideal expectations a reader would have from a thriller book. It's a bold concept which dares to explore the limitation of the fragile human mind. The narrative blends sci-fi, myth and psychology. Do mind, my fellow book lovers, this book requires your full attention!

This story starts with a professor explaining the lifecycle of parasites & worms and how it affects human body but this sets the background for the more twisty side of the science where not just a hookworms enters your gut but actually an alien worm making human body its home and taking control of it.

The protagonist of the novel, Mohini, wakes up from a coma and finds herself paralysed. She suffers from memory loss and is bound to a wheelchair, totally dependent on her husband. But something is developing inside her, an entity not of this world, an entity with a certain purpose, and it turns Mohini's life totally upside down. Strange facial expressions, change in body language, suspicious behaviour, is Mohini changing, is she a hallucinating or is she really a victim?

Phew! I just realised I was holding my breath writing this! Dr Sohail Makwana's brilliant writing will not let you settle for an answer. Every time you feel maybe you have figured this out or start guessing what happens next, he pulls the ground beneath you.

This book is a must-read for every kind of reader. It's a story which should not be missed at all. Such unique, powerful narratives come by rarely, and they need to be cherished. Fans of psychological thrillers, dark mythology, and science fiction, this will delight your senses but will leave you with a sharp, unnerving edge.

'The Whispering Delulu' is a gripping psychological thriller that will keep you hooked till the end. With a dark and twisted storyline and intriguing characters, the book has all the ingredients of a compelling mystery.

This story revolves around Mohini, a nurse, who wakes up from a coma and finds herself paralysed and suffering from memory loss. Feeling trapped in her wheelchair and with no recollection of her past life, Mohini feels totally devoid of hope when she is interrupted by a voice in her ear, who claims to be her companion. The voice becomes her unseen guide, always guiding her. But what is this entity? Is it a parasite or just a figment of her own imagination; a delusion?

The story pulls you right in, from the prologue. The story introduces you to Mohini's background, slowly building up to the main twist. The mysterious guiding voice adds intrigue and the narrative keeps you on the edge and you are not sure what and whom to believe. The story blend psychology, suspense and mystery to create an engaging narrative. The biggest plus point of the story was the way it makes the readers question everything.

The writing is captivating and the multiple twists and turns will keep you hooked. The atmosphere captures the dread, the uncertainty experienced by Mohini. The characters are well-developed, each carrying a secret , each with their own motivations, adding another layer to the story. What sets up the book is for me is the incredible narration, raising the tension few notches, with every chapter.

Overall, 'The Whispering Delulu' is an engrossing read which the fans of the mystery genre will enjoy.

Haunting, suspenseful, gripping, dark, emotional.

The Whispering Delulu is an Indian psychological thriller set in the western India. The narrative follows Mohini, a grieving amnesic paralysed mother who lost her daughter under mysterious circumstances, and Rohit, her husband (he calls that), who takes care of her. Mohini starts hearing iGenie— an invisible entity that claims residing in her brain. Id iGenie real or it’s her hallucination?? The story intertwines themes of deception, betrayal, and unspeakable tragedies, creating a spine-chilling mystery that leaves readers at the edge of their seats.

Narration

The dual perspectives of Mohini and Rohit enhance the story, offering insight into both the victim's pain and the husband’s determination. The seamless shifts between past and present timelines maintain a gripping pace and unravel secrets piece by piece.

Writing Style

Dr Sohil masterfully blends science elements, Indian mythology, and modern psychological tension. His vivid imagery and detailed descriptions make the eerie atmosphere come alive, while his concise language keeps the narrative fast-paced. Each character is multi-dimensional, with compelling backstories and arcs. Shocking twists and turns keep readers guessing until the very end.

"The Whispering Delulu" is an emotionally charged, thrilling ride that combines horror, mystery, and social commentary. Its powerful storytelling and intricate plotting ensure a compelling experience that lingers long after the final page.

Have you ever felt that uneasy silence right before something strange begins, when reality feels just a shade too thin? That’s exactly how this book pulls you in. From the very first chapter, the author crafts a world where science flirts with superstition and the human mind becomes its own haunting maze.

The story follows Mohini, a woman who wakes from a coma, bound to a wheelchair and robbed of her memory. Her husband’s strange insistence on yellow pills, the soft murmurs that only she can hear, and a caretaker with unclear motives, each thread twists tighter until you start questioning everything alongside her. Is Mohini losing her grip on reality, being manipulated, or part of something far more sinister?

What truly stands out is how this book merges psychology, mythology, and futuristic science into one seamless narrative. The eerie whispers and surreal hallucinations blend with medical precision, making you wonder where the mind ends and madness begins. The author’s writing is sharp yet cinematic, creating an atmosphere that’s equal parts beautiful and terrifying.

As I turned the pages, I realized this isn’t just a thriller; it’s an exploration of human fragility and how fear can blur every boundary of logic. The pace never drags; every revelation feels like a jolt of electricity.

Dark, unpredictable, and intensely gripping, this book is more than a psychological thriller; it’s an experience. Once you enter Mohini’s world, there’s no turning back. A chilling, unforgettable read for every lover of mind-bending suspense.

The Whispering Delulu is not just a story—it’s a fever dream stitched together with science, shattered memories, and ancient myth.

As a doctor, I’ve studied the mind. As a storyteller, I’ve dismantled it.

This book dives deep into the psyche, where delusions aren’t just mental glitches—they’re signals. Whispers from within. Or perhaps, from somewhere far beyond. Layered with mythology, the narrative questions whether the ancient gods were ever divine—or simply misunderstood minds ahead of their time. The Yugas blend with neurochemistry, the subconscious meets cosmic design, and what starts as a psychological thriller quietly unravels into science fiction with a mythic heartbeat.

In this world, the mind is the battlefield. Memory is weaponized. Reality is an experiment. And the monsters? They wear many faces—some divine, some digital, and some disturbingly human.

Writing The Whispering Delulu was like opening a trapdoor in my own head. It dragged me through sleepless nights, bizarre research papers, and whispered what-ifs that refused to shut up. But in that madness, I found something beautiful—a story that defies genre, yet clutches the soul.

If you’ve ever feared your own thoughts, questioned your gods, or felt like a glitch in someone else’s simulation—this one’s for you.

Welcome to the delulu.
Where nothing is as it seems—and that’s just the beginning.

“Delulu Is The Solulu”.

Dr.Sohil is famous for writing forensic crime thrillers, psychological thrillers, and combining science fiction with real-life scenarios.

The story 'The Whispering Delulu' is a psychological thriller that dives into the depths of parasites residing within human bodies and taking over their lives. The detailing and constructive approach of the plot is intriguing; the research and knowledge show how minutely the author has studied the organisms and has created a comparison of the modern era, touching on old ones. You will see lighter and funnier banter in between where the author has beautifully explained how human minds and bodies have been taken over by modern technologies and how they easily control human life.

The book also talks about your illusions, willpower, mental health, and traumatic experiences.

With Mohini's life and experience, the author has shown us the mirror of reality where science, space, and fiction come face-to-face and let us dive into something extraordinary and utterly chilling. I loved her transformation from a paralyzed person to a superwoman. I loved the idea of iGenei and the entire conversation between the protagonist and iGenei. The modern technologies, the entire emotional episode, and Mohini's realization were the best part of the story for me. My experience of reading this book was entertaining, shocking, astounding, and startling.

Yet again, a great book by the author.

“The Whispering Delulu” by Dr. Sohil Makwana is one such thriller read which will leave you hanging between reality and illusion. One of the best psychological, mythological, sci fictional thriller book, this book will surely keep the readers hooked at one place from start till end.

The story revolves around Mohini who wakes up from coma with a memory loss and is confined to wheel chair. She has no idea of who she is, her past or current except the current man who claims to be her husband and is taking care of her. He daily places a yellow mysterious pill on her tongue which seems absurd to her. She feels an entity living within herself which has no shape or development but constantly plays with her mind making her believe that she possesses the strength of a superwoman.

If Mohini actually has some disorder within herself or if she is a victim of something hi-tech or is she living in a delulu world is to read for the book. Makwana’s writing style is classic, providing the perfect twists and turns, the right pace, thrill and creating a fear while reading the book. The concept of iGenie is something I loved a lot and I love the relationship between iGenie and Mohini. This is surely a book which will keep you guessing till the end providing with the right amount of thrill which we is normally seen in a movie or television show.

As a very casual psychological thriller eader, I was excited for this book as Dr Sohil’s The Sleepwalker’s Lullaby was my first psychological thriller novel and for that, I am grateful. But this one is beyond psychological thriller with tint of mythology and space opera.

I have mixed feelings about the character and somewhere in the middle I thought of giving this book a three-star rating but the last quarter was jaw dropping and mind bending. I enjoyed the book by the time I finished. This review may contain minor spoilers, but it has been mentioned in other reviews.

I love the idea of a high tech parasite living in human body that can transform disabled Mohini into superwoman. Loved the knowing about bizarre disease Manchausen syndrome by proxy. Loved the clubbing of facts, future and folklore..

The story is multiple timelines; onboard the Mohini and flashbacks. I love the beginning when Mohini wakes up paralysed with amnesia. As she slowly regains his memory, the reader learns the backstory. I don't know about others, but I really enjoyed the flashbacks and was curious how on earth a nurse ends up on wheelchair and becomes superwoman.

It was worth the wait and a good deal more besides. Definitely recommended.

Rarely do I come across thrillers that hook me in a way that they become totally unputdownable. I have always been a huge fan of psychological thrillers with a pinch of horror/sci-fi intact and when I come across The Whispering Delulu, I couldn't hold me back to start with it and oh man! It quenched my thirst for my favourite genre like no other.

The Whispering Delulu is an outstandingly written and intricately crafted piece of work. It moves at a fast pace and makes you wonder and amaze at every page. The blurb is one of the most intriguing I have come across for any book of any genre. It raises the hunger in reader's mind to pick the novel readily. The story is wriiten in a way that one keeps anticipating the next turns. The addition of entity like iGenie gives it even more classical fearful touch. The cover has a mysterious vibe to it as well. The climax and unfolding of events is crafted so meticulously that none wouldn't have expected to counter. The touch of shades of grey in characters is very creatively woven and presented.

Overall a magnificent work by Dr Sohil Makwana.

"The Whispering Delulu" by Dr. Sohil Makwana is a thriller book where even the tangels are all twisted. Imagine losing your memory, living in a wheelchair and in great despair. Imagine hearing voices in your head, a hallucination or a delusion or perhaps a glimpse of the past? What happens when Mohini gets hold of the truth? But what truth would it be? A killer husband hiding her past or technology, a parasite feeding off her?

We humans, we are quite the unbelievable species right? When we achieve something we always want more, when we have something we always want another, there never is anything satisfying us at all. Greed, dishonesty, lies, hatred all of these are making us the worse versions of ourselves.

This book is quite the eye opener for me because as much thriller as it is, it also shows how self-absorred we are as humans. The plots were all on point, the story line was amazing and most importantly the twist was mind-blowing. If you love a thriller with a great twist this is the one for you.

Will you be able to see past the blinds in your eyes and at some point fight off the parasite feeding off you?

The Whispering Delulu
— Sohil Makwana

The famous GenZ quote everyone knows is “Delulu is Solulu.” This story is somewhat the same, but with eerie twists and turns.

Mohini loses her daughter in an accident and becomes paralyzed due to spinal cord failure. Her husband, Rohit, a parasitologist, takes good care of her.

But then, a parasite enters her body — at first it feels like it’s empowering her, and she convinces herself this isn’t delusion but a solution. How it begins to control her present, past, and future, and how Rohit too gets tangled in the mess, forms the crux of the story.

It’s a futuristic sci-fi fiction, gripping enough that you can’t put it down till the end. However, the ending feels unnecessarily violent, almost as if the author hadn’t planned it well. There are also too many repetitive paragraphs, this style could have been avoided.

Since I haven’t read much in this genre, it still felt fresh.

Read it once to explore how the possibility of artificial intelligence overtaking human intelligence, intuition, and consciousness over thousands of years could be truly terrifying.

The Whispering Delulu by Dr Sohil is a psychological thriller that delivers a fast paced, exhilarating story. The plot centers around the mysterious awakening of a paralysed Mohini from coma, and keeps you hooked from the very first page.

The plot kicks off when Rohit, Mohini’s husband start giving a mysterious yellow pill. Now the pills indices the appearance of an invisible entity, iGenie! Is iGenie real or a delusion of her fractured mind? It contains a series of questions Mohini must complete if she wants to know her journey.

What sets this novel apart is how it explores the darker side of human sins and effects of virtual world and their influence on all living species surroundings. Though a work of fiction, the story echoes a sad reality of our times.

I particularly appreciated how the Dr Sohil skillfully portrayed the emotions and perspectives of Mohini and iGenie. It adds a real emotional depth to the story.

The Whispering Delulu is absolutely engaging. I could easily see it being adapted into a movie. The climax leaves a few threads unresolved, opening the door for a potential sequel—which I’d definitely look forward to.

✨ The Whispering Delulu by Dr. Sohil Makwana is a gripping psychological thriller that blurs the line between reality and illusion. The story follows Mohini, a woman whose life takes a dark turn when her husband introduces her to mysterious yellow pills, unlocking the eerie presence of iGenie. But is this entity real, or a haunting creation of her fractured mind? 🤯

What makes this novel shine is its bold mix of psychology, mythology, and futuristic science. Dr. Sohil masterfully balances suspense with emotional depth, bringing Mohini’s turmoil and iGenie’s strange presence to life. The book isn’t just a thriller; it’s also a reflection on human flaws, the shadowy side of technology, and how the virtual world shapes our reality 🌐.

The pacing is fast, the writing accessible, and the twists keep you guessing till the very end. While some parts dive deep into technical detail, the tension never lets up. It’s dark, atmospheric, and addictive, a story that could easily be adapted into a movie 🎬.

🔥 Overall, an imaginative, thought-provoking read that leaves a few threads open for a potential sequel. Highly recommended for fans of psychological thrillers and myth-tinged mysteries!

A mind-bending fusion of myth, science, madness, and fate.

The Whispering Delulu is not a typical sci-fi thriller! Rather, it’s a psychological labyrinth where science, myth, and madness blur into one haunting narrative. The protagonist’s condition i.e. paralysed, amnesiac, and voiceless makes her both fragile and terrifyingly powerful, and the story never lets you forget the thin line between vulnerability and transcendence.

What really sets this book apart from others is the way it teases the reader’s perception of reality! Every page tilts the balance, keeping you suspended between awe and dread. The ancient prophecy weaves through the narrative like an echo from the subconscious, reminding us that fate may not be escapable, even in a hyper-scientific future.

The brilliance of The Whispering Delulu lies in the way it refuses to give easy answers. It forces you to sit with uncertainty, to question identity, sanity, and even hope itself. This isn’t just a story about a woman in a wheelchair gaining power though! it’s more about the dangerous beauty of belief, and how illusions born of technology or prophecy, can reshape the world.

"The Whispering Delulu" has lots of surprises and unexpected twists. It tricks your mind and traumatises you until you reach the end.

The protagonist of this tale is a nurse named Mohini.  When she emerges from a coma, she discovers that she has lost her memories and is paralysed.  A voice in Mohini's ear interrupts her, claiming to be her companion, leaving her absolutely helpless.

She has no memory of her former life and is confined to her wheelchair.  The voice becomes her invisible guide, and she always follows it.  However, what is this thing?  Is it something she's imagining, a parasite, or a delusion?

The author has well portrayed the journey of Mohini and her guide, making it extremely gripping for the readers to dive into her thoughts to know more. The story is commendable and makes you revisit the scenes to be crystal clear of her thoughts.

Overall, it is a fast-paced story which will not let you rest until you complete it. It will set your heart racing until we reach the climax. The climax itself is a great shock for the readers. Highly recommended for thriller fans!
