Very well written book by one of its main actors, the agent Gill Leger.
Being born in Slovakia after the the collapse of the Soviet Union, I am hearing about the life of how it was before only from my parents and their parents. I knew Peter Stastny before too, but I hadn't known how much of an impact he had had that time and how significant and dangerous was the runaway to the Western World.
The book is not only a statement on what has happened (even though it describes the events in very interesting little details) but also it is a food for thought about values such as freedom, bravery, family, dedication, selfishness (good or bad).
The history of 1968 and 1989 is a very impprtant part of our history and this books gives a very thrilling sport perspective on it.
I don't even know what would it make 5 stars, it's hard to add evidence from illegal activity :-)

veľmi zaujímavý príbeh, žiaľ, občas repetitívne podané s príliš častými odbočkami k nedôležitým epizódam.

občas dosť mechanický preklad s neprirodzeným slovosledom.
