Same old, same old. Same books different collection, well with the exceptions of 'Hero'.
I love collections, even though more often than not I'm disappointed by them I still check out every one I see but I don't understand the logic in putting the same book in so many. I can't remember the number of times I've come across 'Saving Forever' by Lexi Timms it seems to be in nearly every collection coming out. I understand collections like this one maybe reach a wider audience but I seriously have to doubt the wisdom of releasing the exact same book in so many collections. 'Christmas Magic' 'Untamed Hearts' 'Hearts on Fire' 'Summer Lovin' 'Tidal Wave' 'Taken by the Heart' These are just the ones still available on Amazon at the moment, I don't know about other readers maybe it's just me but I'm so sick of seeing this book plus there's a further 3 books in the series.
The same stands for 'My Despicable Ex' although there is only a part 2 in this case. 'Burned' 'Christmas Magic' 'Untamed Hearts' 'Hearts on Fire' 'Love's Awakening' 'Tidal Wave' 'Taken by the Heart' 'Summer Lovin' 'Stolen Hearts' Does it really need to be in 9 different collections at the same time.
'Hero' I've actually been reading and enjoying this series although when I read the first book I didn't realise it was a serial book, the cliffhanger came as a bit of a shock. All the 'Hero' books have been free for a limited time so I've managed to download them in their 'free' period, if you haven't been as lucky then they work out quite expensive: 'Hero for Me' is £1.97 or $3.10 for just 69 pages 'Hero for Christmas' is £1.98 or $3.11 for 84 pages Plus there's at least another one in the series
I have reviewed each of the stories contained in this anthology separately on their own pages, but thought I'd do a quick summary here.
Book 1 - Hero Couldn't finish it. Guys in uniform don't do it for me and I couldn't get on board with the story.
Book 2 - Saving Forever I liked this book. I read quite a bit of criticism of it, and it has flaws, but I liked it anyway.
Book 3 - My Despicable Ex Some wonderful travel writing, but that really wasn't the actual point of the book. The rest of it, the romance relevant elements...not done well.
I don't think I would recommend this. I would probably tell people just to have a look at the second book on its own.
I really enjoyed the book. The story kind of draws you in and then locks the door,so to speak.I could not stop til I reached the end, which came all too soon.
Each of the authors of these books draw such wonderful pictures with their words. Each is the beginning of their series and makes you want to go out and read more.
The only reason I wanted to read this box set because it was free. The only story I liked in this set was Hero by Bella Love Wins. I liked the hot & steamy scenes & I thought Kate was brave for what she did. The other other 2 stories in this set I read in another box set & I really didn't like them much.
The stories were Good. I don't think I could go one a trip with the guy who left me at the alter though. Not for no money. I guess I'm too petty. The girl was a trust fund baby. She had good credit so she could have done a personal loan. Ijs not worth it in my opinion.
Three romance novels all rolled into one. Well the first parts anyway. I think I would give Bella Love-Wins and Sierra Rose first dibs at reading the second part.
