This book is filled with non stop action.. Ryker has been hired to find the missing daughter of a governor. There is more to the story and the path leads to a group planning an attack in the US. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Book #8 in the series. After the first book, I quickly became a James Ryker fan. Rob Sinclair's "take no prisoners" character uses his skills, gained through hard-earned experience, to keep his corner of the world safe. He's a cross between Jack Ryan and Reacher, and he feeds my thriller addiction. In BURNING STATE, he investigates the abduction of a governor's daughter, only to find himself in the middle of several incidents. Now he must decide if they are all related to the kidnapping and precisely what he needs to do.
