It’s no wonder why men fear her. She is beauty, and she is chaos.
This was the first time that I have ever read something by Stasia Mars & holy crap, I was blown away by her writing. The way she writes her charters, makes you feel their emotions really draws you into the book was phenomenal.
From the very beginning of this story you are drawn in by the main FMC Sinclair, whose life has not been easy by any means. After Sinclair’s sister dies she is forced into a marriage that she doesn’t want. Sinclair is the black sheep of the family & also known to many as the Black Widow Spider, Sinclair has learnt to build walls as high as the Empire State Building to protect herself & in no means will let them fall… that is until she meets Blackwell.
This is a dark mafia romance, with a lot of triggers so please read the list before diving right in.

I wasn’t just reading a story; I was dragged into the shadows of a ruthless world where desire and danger dance together, where love is war, and where two broken people find the kind of chemistry that could burn everything down.
Sinclair is the kind of heroine I crave in dark romance—scarred, sharp, unapologetically herself. She’s all armor and thorns, yet you can feel the softness she’s buried deep beneath the surface. She doesn’t play nice, and she doesn’t pretend to be someone she’s not. Watching her navigate the twisted power dynamics of the mafia world while refusing to shrink for anyone? It was electric.
And then there’s Blackwell. Cold. Calculated. Quiet power in a suit. He doesn’t raise his voice—he doesn’t need to. His presence alone is enough to shake the room. This is a must read for dark romance lovers, it’s honestly fantastic
I was completely mesmerised by the storyline, the fine details and a wide range of emotions are brilliantly entwined with suspense and mystery.
Sinclair was such a fascinating character, her brutally traumatic past that transformed her into a women that hides her real personality behind a broken facade of crazy with a theatrical twist. It was honestly intriguing to see the depth to her, such a beautifully crafted character - I was in complete awe.
Blackwell, I didn’t know what to think of him at first he was such an enigma. His character had me on the edge of my chair in suspense. The twists and turns were perfectly executed, and his possessiveness was deliciously satisfying.
The steamy scenes were hot AF!
I could not put down this book, I finish it in the early hours after basically reading it all night. It was absolutely fantastic and I didn’t want it to end.
I would love to read more books with surrounding these characters, they were too good just for one book.

This story was gripping from beginning to end and packed with tension, emotion, and spicy scenes that will absolutely make you blush in all the right ways 🤤😉!
One of the things I loved most was the character development of Sinclair. Watching her evolve from a powerless girl into a woman who holds all the power, thanks in part to the very man she was forced to marry, as incredibly powerful.
And I have to mention Blender 😻, the stray cat Sinclair names and takes in. Blender wasn’t just a background detail; she was a beautiful symbol of Sinclair’s own transformation. Just like Blender, Sinclair starts out vulnerable and uncertain, but by the end, she’s fierce, bold, and unafraid.

🔥 Review: 5/5 — Dark, Twisted, Obsessively Addictive 🔥 This book devoured me. If you're into morally gray men and pitch-black women, this is your next obsession. A Persian mafia prince forced into marriage for peace, but the bride he gets? Not the one he was supposed to marry. Wow....Sinclair has been abused by her family, making her into the "crazy" she is. She's been beaten, verbally abused and ignored, neglected and worst of all shown no affection or kindness.
Blackwell was to marry her sister, until she died. Now he'll marry her. But she is hard edges, vindictive and guarded at best. She will strike out and when she's done their will be blood and death.
Sinclair will not break. All she's been through has not broken her, it's molded her into what she is.
Can Blackwell accept all of her and can they come together in the end?
This was amazing. Poetic justice and a woman who will not cower to anyone. Blackwell's heart, commitment and determination speaks volumes. Such an amazing love story set in what could have been just tragedy.
Every word, every page bleeds out amazing writing and storytelling. Bravo Stasia!

What a journey for Sinclair and Blackwell. This is a great mafia romance read... check your triggers as it does contain dark themes.. I really enjoyed reading this book. the progression of an arrangement that becomes a true relationship.
Blackwell was arranged to marry Sinclair's older sister, however, she died. When Sinclair was older, she was told she'd be marrying Blackwell. She's got a reputation for chaos, darkness and blood. Called Lady Lobotomy by Blackwell's brother.. She prefers to live up to the darkness people on the outside see of her. Her family is abusive and nasty. The arrangement was for an alliance and power in the mob world. Sinclair makes it difficult for Blackwell.

Oh my god This book was absolutely amazing. I really love a good mafia story but this one was probably the best I have read so far. I definitely didn’t want it to end but like all good things it had too. Let’s talk about the chemistry between Sinclair and Blackwell it was so good. Seeing the way the female character was able to find her strength and her true self. Love was something she never could wrap her head around and in the end love was exactly what she needed to set her free. I highly recommend this book add it to your TBR you won’t be disappointed.

Sinclair is an absolute force who doesn’t take nonsense from anyone. You can feel the pain she carries with her in every chapter. Blackwell initially appears strong, but everything changes when she finds herself in his office. Their families arranged the marriage, but he specifically chose her, making it all the more intriguing. This book is a fantastic continuation after the first one, perfectly capturing the essence of the story.

Watching her go from vulnerable to powerful was so satisfying and the way love played a part in that? Ugh, my heart. Also, Blender the cat?? Absolute perfection. Such a subtle but beautiful symbol of her journey.

WOW! This book was well-written and detailed. This book had a lot of interaction between the characters. Sinclair had to fight hard in her mafia family. The things she went through were heartbreaking. She had some tough skin. Any other woman would have broken. I love a strong female character. The story was phenomenal. Well written and a recommended read.

Loved, loved, loved this book. I feel like I was on the edge of my seat the entire time wondering was going to happen next. It's Mafia so there is violence. The spice is spicy for sure. If you have triggers, read the warnings. They are important. Highly recommend if you a dark romance reader.

The “Widows Walk” was a quick read for me. It has drama, chaos, exciting FMC that took no bull crap from anyone, and a MMC that would 💀 anyone and 🔥the world down for you and your cat.
For me the Widows Walk did have some mafia elements with the arrange marriages and talk about organized crime. However for me the plot and story line were mostly focus on Gothic and Dark Romance side.
I enjoyed the this book and recommend it.

Sinclair is a bada$$ who takes not crap from ANYONE. You feel pain she holds deep down with each chapter. Blackwell comes off as powerful until she actually is dragged into his office. Arranged marriage by families but he chose her. Hands down perfection. This book is a perfect fit after the first book.

If you love dark mafia romances like me, Sinclair and Blackwell‘s story is a must read! There isn’t anything I didn’t love about these two! The way Sinclair is unhinged made me love her even more…. I don’t know what that says about lil old me, but I definitely would want her by my side lol Then let’s just say I’m definitely hot for Blackwell…. Everything he does throughout their story, made me just love him!

Widows's Walk was absolutely amazing! The baddie characters, the crazy banter, the action, and the spice made it impossible for me to put the book down. Make sure you check the trigger warnings! Sinclair is such an amazing character and a total baddie. She suffered every kind of abuse by her evil family. Although she was tor-tured she refused to just lay down and take it. She would speak her mind and try to fight through it. She would act out to make people think she was not affected and one certain incident gained her a reputation as a black widow and unhinged. All of the mafia men were afraid of her because she wouldn't put up with their crap. She would make sure they paid for any wrongs. Her sister was promised to the mafia heir. But due to her death, Sinclair was chosen. She thought she was trading one Hell for another but what she found was the one man who was not trying to destroy her but to free her. At first, I didn't know if I would like Blackwell because of his cold demeanor and demands of obedience. But now I absolutely love him! Blackwell is known for being ruthless, unhinged, and able to instill fear from a single glance. But when it comes to his joon kharash he can't help but let his barriers down. He is obsessive, possessive, and will not give up on her just because she struggles to express her emotions.They both accepted each other's crazy and their chemistry was amazing. If you are in the mood for a spicy, mafia, book with unhinged mc's then I definitely recommend this book. This is the first Stasia Mars book I have read, but I will definitely have to go back and read her other works!
