Hannah Dalton is a proud woman burdened by tragedy. After a stagecoach accident leaves her orphaned and with crippling back pain, she is left to care for her younger sister and manage the family ranch. With the land slipping through her fingers, she finally places an ad for a mail-order groom, hoping to find a helping hand—but never expecting her heart to be at risk.

Nathaniel Laughlin was once a renowned doctor, but after losing his wife in a violent attack by the notorious outlaw Thatcher McCrae, he’s a man running from ghosts. Consumed by guilt, he seeks redemption in the solitude of a ranch, only to find something in Hannah’s resilience that awakens feelings he thought he buried forever.

As Nathaniel's healing touch restores the ranch, a spark ignites between them, growing through shared work and tender moments. But with old secrets and a jealous ranch hand threatening their fragile connection, can they truly rebuild their lives together—or will the past destroy the future they both crave?

"A Convenient Match for the Wounded Bride" is a historical western romance novel of approximately 60,000 words. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Wonderful story

Trust, betrayal, outlaws, protective, loving, loss.....this story has it all. After Hannah and Tilly's parents are killed in a wagon accident, Hannah takes on the burden of keeping the ranch going. Unfortunately, she was in the wagon with her parents and suffers excruciating back pain at times and determines that she needs help so she doesn't lose her home. The only thing she can come up with, is to advertise for a mail order groom. Nathaniel decides to marry Hannah because it's just a business deal. He lost his wife and wants a new beginning. He's definitely not looking for love... or is he?

I absolutely love when a writer creates someone with a disability. Not only that, but makes them have a life, makes them an interesting person. This author did not disappoint. The characters are great and I loved the story.
