--- My writing journey began in childhood with a poem or a rhyme, then ceased for a long time, submerged under the pressures of life and studies. The year was 2014. I was living in Einstein, the researchers' hostel at Bardhaman University. Here, a unique Saraswati Puja is held every year, and I was one of the main organizers. From building the pandal with my own hands to all other tasks, I was always involved. After spending all day in the lab, I'd stay up all night decorating the pandal, punctuated by tea and cigarettes.
It was during the 2014 Saraswati Puja that there was a lack of submissions for the hostel magazine. This reignited my urge to write, and my career as an author began with a short novel for that magazine.
So far, I've written nearly six novels, and they've received readers' 1. **Ekhane Akash Neel** (Ananda) 2. **Ebar Aranye** (Srishtisukh) 3. **Dekhechi Tare Andhokare** (Aranyaman) 4. **Nilabh Akash Jure Sajinar Phool** (Aranyaman) 5. **Mayajochona** (Suprakash) 6. **Tabu Jibon Ogadh** (Lalmati)
This book contains the following 1. Nidhu the Dunce 2. The Clock 3. The Fading Days 4. The World is gradually falling silent 5. Rasasindhu Sweets 6. The Parallel 7. The Cow 8. The Familiar Face 9. The Inner Chamber 10. His Silent Presence 11. Naad the Grand Sound
Each story offers a different flavor and genre.
This is a collection of stories, written at various times, reflecting different states of mind. I'm unsure how readers will receive them, but I've brought them before the readers with some courage. If they receive favor, I'll consider myself fortunate. Almost all my writings are titled with a line from Jibanananda Das's poetry, and this one is no exception.
