🎁 A heartfelt gift of calm and clarity for someone you love this holiday season. 🎁
What if healing wasn’t a battle to win—
but a quiet space you could step into, again and again?
You’ve tried to forgive. You’ve worked to calm your mind, release the past, and move on.
But still, the ache of an old wound, the weight of regret, or the endless spiral of overthinking clings tightly—making peace feel just out of reach.
The problem isn’t your effort.
It’s that you’ve been taught to fight your way to freedom.
The Zen of Letting Go offers a gentler way.
This is not another self-help manual full of tips and techniques.
It is a soulful collection of 30 short Zen-inspired stories and parables, written to help you soften, release, and heal—one quiet story at a time.
Through timeless metaphors—an old monk shedding his name, a feather sinking in silence, a donkey walking away first—you’ll remember that letting go doesn’t require force.
It requires stillness.
It requires presence.

"The Zen of Joy” by Kenji Sora is a cute, simple read.
Kenji has created a series of thirty Zen stories as gentle reminders to stop overthinking. Reminders comprise wisdom, like the fact that disruption isn’t always bad.
I read “The Zen of Joy” at a pace of one story a day for thirty days. The stories are light reads. Written as a series of mini-stories, an insight, reflection questions, and an exercise follow each one. Small black, white, and grey drawings precede each new story. Kenji breaks the book into four themed sections: The Joy of Small Things, How to Let Go & Laugh, Pause then Play, and Smile Even at the End.

Peaceful but Somewhat Repetitive
The ZEN of Letting Go is a calming book with 30 short, zen-themed stories that encourage reflection and self-care. The pictures are a nice touch and the prompts after each chapter help you pause and think. While I enjoyed the peaceful tone and simple lessons, the stories started to feel a bit repetitive after a while. It’s a nice introduction to Zen ideas and a good reminder to slow down, but not as deep or varied as I had hoped.

worth the read to know
And looking forward to reading The Zen of Letting Go. Again and again, to stay in touch with where I am, where I’ve been, and where I’m going.
