Everything is running smoothly for Thario until he trusts the wrong person. Betrayal hides deep, and he is forced to rebuild his life. Will Thario get it right, or will he fail at putting his life back together again? This isn’t like last time. The stakes are higher than they’ve ever been.
Trapped in a life she didn’t choose for herself, Calla searches for ways to escape. But getting away isn’t easy, and the one man she thinks might be able to save her can’t trust her. How does she earn his trust when he has no reason to believe a word she says?
Can Thario and Calla learn to work together, or is everything already doomed before it starts?
This was an amazing story. It has been great to see thario reinvent himself throughout the series. So glad he got his happy ever after and see him work through things and build his confidence
I normally love Julia Bright books but if this had been the first one I had read I won't purchase any more. I found this book very slow like a young high schooler had written it for a writing assignment (sorry it's hard to put into words) , they is no emotion in the writing, no passion just facts.
Like Bright's books, but there are many mistakes in each book. Whoever said proof rating is doing5th a very poor job.Even names of the main characters change for no real reason. If you don't know there are mistakes. You get very confused.
