Eighteen years ago, the Lull Lane Dollmaker made ten families porcelain dolls as gifts to welcome their children into the world. But what these families didn't know was that souls of lullabies were poured into each one as they were created. Now, the Dollmaker is coming to collect. One by one.
Quinn: My parents thought that since they were the perfect couple in high school, that I’d turn out that way too. My mom was a cheerleader, and my dad was captain of the football team. Life couldn’t get any better, right? What they didn’t expect was for their secret to bleed out onto their only child, the secret they all hold close. Lies and secrets, that's our biggest sin.
All it took was a creepy doll and a deadly spider to show up, and it was like something inside me snapped. All the ones that did the Dollmaker wrong, I want to right them and help get her revenge. To the ones who have done me wrong, well, it’s even worse for you… I have no fucks left to give. Let's the spider out to play.
Alena is an indie author who lives in Texas with her husband and 3 daughters. She is a dark romance author who will always be a why choose type of girlie. When she's not writing, she loves getting lost in books, running her kids to all their sports, and spending time with her family
Woah! I did not expect that at all…but in a really good way 😈
Quinn, is yet another one whose parents are awful to her, what they did when in high school was even worse. Quinn, is also bullied constantly, her size, her ‘freakiness’ at school until she finds a doll on her bed. At this point expect a whole vendetta to explode and in a delicious way with a spider and a doll as her accomplices 🕷️
well fuck! spiders and dolls are two things I hate and they are both in a book!! 🤦♀️
"Dolls are just creepy, but porcelain dolls are the fucking spawn of Satan"
Yes, Yes they fucking are 😂 but did I read this book? yup sure did. did I enjoy this book? fuck yes I did. will I have nightmares about these fucking dolls? more than likely.🤷♀️
Quinn had the doll Sadie and a black widow named Kai. They got their revenge on Tatum for Savannah BUT Jeremy has a little something up his sleeves! That ending though!! ugh

THIS IS THE STORY I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!! The two who truly deserve their comeuppance!!
This book dives back into the lives of Quinn, the daughter of Tatum and Jeremy, who were the ringleaders behind the horrific assault on Tripp and Savannah. The story kicks off at Tatum and Jeremy’s baby shower, where we’re introduced to the unnerving doll, Sadie. Tatum, of course, completely freaks out, and Jeremy promises to get rid of the ominous toy.
I was pleasantly shocked to find that Quinn hasn’t fallen in the footsteps of her atrocious mother. She isn't a cheerleader; instead, she's surprisingly fierce and stands up to those trying to bring her down.
The perfect life facade of her parents has crumbled, and I was thrilled to see that Tatum and Jeremy are having major problems. Jeremy is cheating on Tatum, and honestly, she deserves it! Jeremy is just as much of a piece of filth as he’s always been.
The moment that absolutely enraged me was when he sneaks into a sleeping Quinn’s room and says:
“You were a mistake. I thought you would fix us, but you made us worse. Savannah will never let us be happy,” he whispers, and that just fuels the fire burning inside me. How could you ever tell your own child they are a mistake? He grabs the pillow beside her head and covers her face with it. “Just go to sleep, never wake up, and this will all stop,” he whisper-shouts as Quinn thrashes in the bed.”
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! This moment solidifies that Jeremy needs to die. If he can do this to his own daughter, he absolutely doesn't deserve to exist.
I absolutely LOVED the dynamic between Sadie and Kai as they look after Quinn. This duo is everything I didn't know I needed! Sadie, the doll, is shaping up to be my favorite. She has a captivating presence and is totally badass with all her tricks, she's a force to be reckoned with. As the author says, they are “Two crashout best friends, even if she is a doll.”
And don't even get me started on Kai! Can I have him in human form, please?🔥Sadie and Kai are chef's kiss! 👩🏽🍳💋
Once again, I truly don't think Tatum suffered enough before her inevitable end. Savannah has suffered for YEARS, and these quick, easy deaths simply don't satisfy my need for justice. I wanted Tatum to suffer BADLY, Like cut her breasts off and shove them down her throat, but don’t let her die right away. Keep her alive for at least a week and slowly cut off a different part of her body each day, type of death!
But Jeremy is the sickest of all. The way I GASPED when Quinn walks in and sees what she sees! This poor girl cannot catch a break. Her father is a gross pedophile!
AND I am absolutely FUMING AND SCREAMING at that ending! I NEED to know what happens next, and I need to know right now! 😩😂
AUTHOR YOU ARE A BADASS AND THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING!! I gobbled this book down and I want so much more!! ♥️
*I RECEIVED AN ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW… MY OPINION IS MY OWN 🖤

Okay, now this, this was a glorious book. The kind that grabs you by the throat and whispers watch closely, everything is about to burn. The tension is tightening, the threads are finally weaving together, and you can feel the storm rolling in.
Every page screams that the end of this series is going to be absolutely unhinged in the best possible way.
Quinn ahhh she is a full-blown baddie. Sharp, fearless, and unapologetic. I love her, no notes. And Deadly? Listen… that was interesting. Dangerous. Morally questionable. And honestly? I wasn’t mad at the idea—not even a little. Some chaos just makes sense.
And Charlee… my girl. WHAT. You had me completely shook. That cliffhanger was savage, clean, precise, and cruel in the way only a good author knows how to be.
I just sat there staring at the page like it personally betrayed me.
This book is the calm before the carnage, the inhale before the scream. Everything is lining up, the stakes are sky-high, and I already know the final book is going to detonate straight into my soul.
I need the last book now. Not later. Now.

I’m traumatized. Seriously. This is the story we’ve all been waiting for — Quinn’s story, the daughter of Jeremy and Tatum, the ones who started it all, the ones behind everything that happened to Savannah.
From the very first page, I was hooked. I couldn’t stop reading — not even while cooking. I literally cooked, ate, and read at the same time because I had to know what was going to happen next. And still, the tension never let up. Every single page kept me on edge.
The doll. The madness. Sadie and Kai — incredible. Absolutely incredible. This book just proves that both Tatum and Jeremy are, or were, complete monsters. Jeremy in particular… he’s pure evil. A manipulative, twisted, self-centered demon of a man. I don’t even have the words to describe how much I despise him.
I don’t want to spoil anything, but that ending… I’m still screaming. I need to know what happens next. I need the final book yesterday.
This one? A solid 10/10. It has everything I want in this type of story — intensity, darkness, emotion, and chaos. It ripped my soul apart, blew my mind, made me furious, and left me desperate for more.
As a note, this is Book #10 in the Nightmares on Lull Lane series. You absolutely have to start from the beginning with The Dollmaker by Ashlynn to understand everything. And please — check the trigger warnings before reading. This series is dark, disturbing, and definitely not for everyone.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. I loved it. I was waiting for Jeremy and Tatum. Having a daughter that is so different from them is karma honestly. Kai and Sadie? So fun and loveable! The ending though? WHAT.
This book was pretty average. It was interesting and the plot was able to keep my attention. I would have loved more of Kai and more revenge throughout the book. Also the ending kind of pissed me off like my brain just can't comprehend how it's just ended like that.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end and could not put this down for even a second, this was my first read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
this one floored me.. well in truly. i did not expect this at all! i absolutely LOVED this book so much! i didn't expect to like demon/human kind of vibe but this is perfect. i loved every single bit of it!!
i was waiting to see what was done with our little spider dolly and this just tops it! it's PERFECT! i loved it so much! this isn't what i was expecting for our spider doll,in the best way!!
this one follows tatum and jeremy's story and when i tell you.. i was anxious to see what would happen with these two,im like mad and sad at the same time??
characters?? 5⭐️ i loved kai and sadie in this especially, although they may be side characters they actually add so much to the story it feels like their story! but quinn! our little quinn reaper, loved her!! tatum and jeremy showing up in this broke my heart like they are the biggest hated characters. HATED i tell you! they got what they deserved! they are crazy! sadie and kai definitely showed up and showed out!!
plot?? 5⭐️ i loved the plot in this! it is really cool take on the horror element of savannah's story and re-living it made my heart hurt, and tatum.. goodness. the inclusion of sort of seeing it through tatum's eyes i feel really added to the story actually and made you actually see how awful she is. and jeremy. urgh. BUT the twist?? THE TWIST! i am SHOOK. i can't quite believe it actually. i was floored as we got towards the end! alena wrote it real good and i didn't expect it AT ALL!
spice + gore?? 🌶️🌶️ + 🩸🩸 not super spicy or gore filled but honestly it doesn't need it? this is more to top off the stories before we meet savannah again, i loved the inclusion of the spice with kai though! was such a fun addition!!! and sadie being all sassy during the spice is so fun! not too much to say here honestly! i hope jeremy gets what's coming to him though! will be back for book number 11!!
overall?? 5⭐️ throughly enjoyed this one! highly rate it honestly! HIGHLY! was so great! i loved it!🥹 no complaints! would read so much more of this! & sad abt kai ( :( ) i hope we get what happened to him and he can come back! (minor spoiler maybe??) anyways! it's great i loved it!!🥹
So grateful to have received this ARC along with the other books in the Nightmares on Lull Lane series.
OH. MY. GOD! This book was wild, like what the hell. I have been waiting for Tatum and Jeremy to get what they had coming but I did not see the story ending the way that it did. Alena, honey... we need to talk! Like I am typing this and just so ready to dive into the final book!
It’s nice to see that Tatum’s life did not turn out perfect like she thought, and I’m glad because her bitch ass did not deserve to be happy at all! And Jeremy, omg he is still a trash human being. I felt terrible for Quinn in the end after what she learns/witnesses.
The spider play was uhm, just wow. I’ll take Kai in shadow daddy shapeshifter form any day... but like sir, did you have to turn into a spider? I hate spiders.
Anyways, check your triggers as usual. This is another spicy, gory, revenge filled book... and it will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time!
"Dolls are just creepy, but porcelain dolls are the f*ing spawn of Satan."
Okay so first off I freaking hate spiders and I agree that porcelain dolls are creepy.
Quinn could not be more opposite from her parents Tatum and Jeremy. Yeah you remember these two terrible people? They deserve this the most and I was happy to see they were miserable just like all the other couples.
So now onto the doll and the spider that stays with her. Sadie is a mean one who has had to remain hidden. Her creepy lullaby actually puts Quinn in a trance or to sleep. Sadie absolutely runs this show. I actually absolutely love Kai and wanted so much more of him.
This story was absolutely unexpected and it leaves you breathlessly wondering wtf just happened and how can it end like that? I need answers dang it. I know there is one more story to conclude and I hope it's fantastic as the buildup has been intense.
The eerie concept of the Dollmaker crafting dolls infused with souls is pure nightmare fuel—in the best possible way. Quinn’s story is raw, twisted, and full of vengeance, with just the right balance of heartbreak and horror. The blend of supernatural revenge and generational secrets had me completely enthralled. Every page felt like a descent into madness wrapped in porcelain and lace.
The writing is darkly poetic, the atmosphere chilling, and the tension never lets up. By the end, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to hug Quinn or run from her—but I definitely wanted more.
If you love stories where small-town secrets meet gothic horror and morally gray vengeance, this is a five-star must-read
Deadly Web is book #10 in the Nightmares on Lull Lane series and we meet Quinn, the daughter of Jeremy and Tatum, the parents we don't like the most. Sadie is her dolly, but we have Kai joining us too, who seems to be a demon...maybe? Either way, he was cute and I liked the beginning of his bond with Quinn. This one did NOT end like the others, so I'm screaming as I run to the last book in this series. I NEEEEED to know what happens now and will Savannah finally get her revenge?!
3 5⭐️ This one was extra hard to rate or review. Did I love this book? Absolutely. This was the couple we’d been waiting for throughout the entire series.
Was the revenge amazing? It definitely was, I wasn’t prepared for it, especially that ending!
However, for some reason, it just didn’t have the same impact. It was really good, but it didn’t stick with me. I finished it in two days, and by the second day, I could barely remember what I’d read the day before — which is strange, because that hasn’t happened with any of the others.
Jane, my deranged queen, how dare you make me fall in love with something that crawls out of my nightmares (literally arachnophobic) and whispers vengeance in silk?
In this installment, we follow our doll, Sadie, (the porcelain executioner herself) on her mission to deliver divine retribution to Tatum and Jeremy, the traitorous pair who made Savannah’s life a living dirge. But Sadie doesn’t walk this road of ruin alone. Lest you forgot in book 1, she’s got company… an uninvited passenger from the dark: the spider who we learn comes with a name, a mind, and secrets of his own.
What starts as a grotesque companionship with their (Tatum & Jeremy’s) daughter Quinn, quickly twists into something far deeper, darker, hungrier. Jane takes one of humanity’s oldest fears and spins it into a seductive web of horror and obsession. Each suspenseful thread pulled tighter around my throat until that final reveal, snapping them all.
Fifty-three pages and I gasped out loud multiple times. Jane delivers a novella with excellent pacing while serving horror that crawled right under my skin, all before sending me directly off a cliff. Only left with “No way…” on my lips. She conducted a ritual. And I, the willing sacrifice, would gladly offer my soul for more of Sadie and her silk-spun shadow daddy.
Applause? No. Standing ovation while sobbing and setting spider traps around my bed.
Check the triggers before starting. This is Quinn’s story. Her parents Jeremy and Tatum are the ones who started Savannah’s revenge. Quinn is constantly bullied at school. Tatum and Jeremy are just pure evil and that ending had me screaming. Like WTF!! Jeremy has something up his sleeve for sure. But Sadie (the doll) and Kai (the spider) … how can a spider be sexy?!
Deadly Webs (Book 9 in the Lull Lane shared series) was a fantastic read! This was my first time reading this author’s work, and I really enjoyed it. The twist at the end tied everything together perfectly—I’m still thinking about that ending! I was also glad to see Tatum finally have to answer for her part in everything. I’ll definitely be checking out more of this author’s books.

Deadly Web by Alena Jane is horror erotica at its absolute best—dark, twisted, and so damn addictive. Quinn dishing out justice with the help of Kai, the shadowiest of Shadow Daddies, had me feral in the best way. The chemistry between them crackles off the page, all danger and desire perfectly intertwined.
And then there’s Sadie—the possessed doll and crown jewel of unhinged chaos. She’s creepy, protective, and completely unforgettable.
This story drips with tension, heat, and delicious madness. Alena Jane knows exactly how to make horror hot, and I was hooked from page one.
That ending?!!!! Man I need to know what happens next. I knew Jeremy was an evil man, but to be that evil of a man. Kai has to be my favorite, I mean shadow daddy, yes please. I think this one is one of my favorites!
Absolutely loved how connected this one was to the original book. Finally we see Jeremy and Tatum, I've been waiting for them!! This was a great story, it takes place over a short period of time, but all the details were really well presented. There were a couple enjoyable twists and the creep factor was really good. There were also some not so enjoyable twists if you know what I mean. Overall I really liked this one!!
wow what a book first off the Triggers in this should NOT ba PASSED!!
this being said I think this takes the top for sure the way the doll interacted with the child/teenager was absolutely perfect the spider 🕷 was an added fine tuch. the way these 3 interacted throughout the book was verifying deliciously well done.
Really enjoyed this one. The girl who doesnt fit in and the spider that intrigues the hell out of me! Really liked this one. And it was nice to have that differing ending to the others! I need the end to see what happens!!
Absolutely loved this and wish it was longer. Quinn, Sadie and Kai are just ugh perfect. While there was some revenge in this one, it wasn't nearly enough. Sav deserved way more. I really enjoyed Alenas writing! Now to finish the series!
✨🖤Deadly Web🖤✨ Author: Alena Jane Part of the Nightmares on Lull Lane Series ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Demon Daddy, SAY LESS!
Quinn needed to get revenge on her parents. And the way her mother got taken out.. PERFECTION! Not to mention the boy that touched things that weren’t his without permission.
I love that Kai and Quinn were so close, and Sadie is so fun with her ways!
Her dad does WHAT!?
And that ending! WOW!!! Can’t wait to finish this series and find out what happens!
Wow so much to process! I love the way this author tells us a story. She builds everything up and draws you in. It was a captivating story. Loved Kai he was like Sadie’s familiar. I was sad that I didn’t get to see Jeremy get what’s coming to him but I need to read the last one and hopefully it will all get wrapped up. Creepy doll aspect lends to spooky season vibes.
This is the 10th book in the nightmares on lull lane series and omg I hate HATE HATE spiders but I LOVED LOVED LOVED KAI he was so hot omfg his nickname for Quinn “ LITTLE RUIN” LIKE AHHHH IM DEAD THATS SO HOT
AHHH AND THE BETRAYL OF THE FATHER AND THE BEST FRIEND AND THE FREAKING ENDING ??!? This one was the best one yetttttttttt!!!
Some of my favorite quotes/parts when arc reading;
🕷️🔪🕸️“The deadly little spider crept out of Sadie’s hair,Spun a web of torment–and you never spoke again.Shadows drowned the room, the final light was gone,Pray you never see him. And if you do… don’t scream” - THE SONG OMFG
🕷️🔪🕸️ - “Don’t worry, my little Quinn Reaper”
🕷️🕸️🔪 - “Come, Little Ruin, we have people to kill. Time’s wasting”
🕸️🕷️🔪 - Quinn is going to be the ruin of me, but slaying her demons one at a time is my favorite nighttime activity.
LIKE COME ONNNNNNNNNN AHHHH I NEED MORE OF THIS ONEEEEEEEEE
Book 10… the one we have all been waiting for. It is Tatum and Jeremy’s turn to suffer the consequences of their actions towards Savannah and their daughter Quinn.
This book was definitely one of my favourites, even though it finishes on a massive cliffhanger. It was fast paced and very well written. Had me hooked from page one and screaming by the end. Sadie quickly became one of my favourite dolls with her sidekick Kai. What is creepier than a talking doll with a lot of attitude? One that comes with a deadly spider of course!
Thanks to Alena, it looks like I’m getting nothing done today. With the way she has written the ending of her book, I just have to get straight into the last book of the series. I can’t get any adulting done till I know what happens next. I don’t know if I’m ready for this series to end yet, but I NEED to know what happens.
