LIGHTS, CAMERA, KNOT…

From the mind of Kayla Grosse comes a new high-heat MMFMM omegaverse romance under her new pen name Kay Lynn.

Landing the lead role in Knotting Hill should’ve been Iris Walker’s big break—a romantic comedy with an all-star cast and crew, and the chance to prove just how good of an actress she really is beyond the roles she’s been pigeonholed into.

Except her heat suppressants just wore off… and the director, cinematographer, writer, and leading man?

Yeah. They’re all her scent matches.

She came to make movie magic, but now she’s just trying not to combust before the cameras start rolling.

This is my first Kayla Grosse novel—she is writing under Kay Lynn here—so it felt fitting to jump in with her first omegaverse. This is only my second omegaverse book, but Lights, Camera, Knot is a great starter for people like me because Grosse went out of her way to really document every aspect of how omegaverse functions and it helped me keep track of things!

I really enjoyed the characterizations of each character. I sometimes feel like why choose, poly, or, in this case, omegaverse books that are also multi-POV become challenging for me to feel connected to each character or feel like they’re distinctive enough from each one another. That was very much not the case here; the pack dynamics were interesting and very layered, and the pack not only felt unique, they also had their own unique relationships with one another within the pack. While I still find the concept of alphas/betas/omegas fascinating, I think this book alone did leaps and bounds in making me ~get it~.

I wish there had been more romance and yearning among the group. I felt like I was being told that that romance and yearning was present but it wasn’t being shown to me through their thoughts and actions. As a matter of fact, for most of the book, I felt like so much of the spice/the omega being in heat felt very clinical to the point that it wasn’t hot for me until I spoke to a friend who also received an ARC and she suggested reading the very clinical “he’s going to do x, is that okay?” “I’m going to put this here and then he’s young to do y, understand?” as consent check-ins and not the crew-standing-around-on-a-movie-set-during-a-sex-scene vibes I felt initially and that helped so much! I wish I understood what the movie was about because I was really intrigued about the on-set accommodations for omegas and the importance of why an omega specifically was needed for the role. Also, I remain unclear about whether or not there were other species or even human beings in this world outside of alphas, omegas, and betas, but that is in no way important to the story!

Thank you so much to Kay Lynn for the ARC!

I love an established pack looking to add an omega and seeing how they all work out the new pack dynamic. Iris Walker showed up to her first day on set and got way more than she bargained for. I can’t wait to read more of the Angel City Omegas!

What a super sweet, wonderful read! I was hooked on how Iris and the pack all felt the pull towards each other way before their scents even kicked in for their scent-matches.

The story mostly evolves around Iris’s unexpected heat on the Genesis Studios set and how the pack—Wilder (Director), Mateo (Cinematographer), August (Writer), and Jett (Actor)—help her through it, ensuring she’s safe and taken care of, along with being incredibly hot and steamy, and I couldn't get enough of them. Their eye contact emotion, not being able to pull their eyes off each other was so adorably intense, you could literally feel their connection as a reader, and this was even before their scents kick in for each of them. I especially really liked that the Beta, August, was the only one who really understood or listened to his inner voice early on—it's always great when one person understands what’s happening and pushes the rest of the pack to see it, I personally cherished that part!

The pack were so wonderful, each having their own distinct personality I absolutely adored. You can really feel how much the Quinn pack desperately wanted an Omega and how they would do absolutely anything to make Iris happy, ensuring she feels cherished in their devotion. Even though the story is mostly about the heat, you get a real feel for every character.

Iris has worked hard to establish her career as an omega actress, she tough and yet vulnerable at the same time. She’s pushed her heats off in lou of her career, which has left her more vulnerable now, with the added risk of being touch starved. Oh and her latest suppressant prescription has been denied! 😮

Augie (August) he was just an adorable Beta, especially with his years old crush he’s had on Iris, so sweet and gentle, an extremely supportive calming role for the pack.
Jett, our leading man, has a love for surfing and the outdoors. He is a gentle chilled alphas who is always there to listen, Iris’s compass in the dark.
Mateo, our Spanish speaking alpha. He’s like Wilder, in many ways, tough and intense, however with him what you see is what you get, but still as devoted to his pack and family, especially to Augie.
Wilder is fiercely loyal, protective of his pack and super dedicated and focused within his career. He intense, tough and kind of scary to everyone, all except for those he loves, then he’s a giant romantic softy.

Whilst August and Mateo are a bonded couple in a sexual relationship, the genuine, absolute devotion and utter love for each other within the pack really shines through. Mateo still helps his pack mates if needed when a rut takes hold, and Wilder, the Prime Alpha, was truly amazing. Even though Wylder’s Alpha was super strong, he didn’t push or dominate within his pack; he placed the others' needs before his own and even involved August in his rut, which was so refreshing beautifully to see.

A lovely twist I haven’t had before was the inner voices of their respective Alpha, Beta, or Omega. It was so unique to hear their actual instincts and wishes pushing to connect. I also thought it was fun how Iris’s Omega was so sweet and submissive, yet Iris herself was such a cheeky brat, pushing her pleasure doms!

Overall I can highly recommend this wonderful easy read, with fantastic characters, so many sweet moments and a super hot read!

This one was amazing! I can't believe this is Kay Lynn's/ Kayla Grosse's first omega verse book! This was everything I wanted plus way more I wasn't expecting.

Iris- between the cover art and my imagination this girl is so hot! The slight panic she exuded was palpable, but I appreciated she was able to go with what her body was telling her! This book is not long they still managed to bring out her beautiful personality and sexy as hell attitude! Omega brats are so hot!!

Augie- oh my gosh Augie's crush on Iris was so adorable. It gave me hope immediately that this pack was gonna love her like I wanted them to love her. Augie and Mateo being together as well made everything that much hotter. Augie was such a great beta for their pack, even helping out our Alpha Wilder. 😉🩷 panty-dropping scene... but really who needs panties when listening to this book?!

Jett- our leading man! Iris was able to really express to us how beautiful Jett is, in and out! She had a really magical emotional connection with Iris. It would be hard to choose, but I do think that he might be my favorite alpha. That's a big statement, considering how much all of these men adored her and made me super jealous, but the eye contact kind of emotion shone through. Ha!

Mateo- OK, Mateo and his Spanish really got me going. It was just enough to get me hot and bothered but also seeing what a sweet soul he has as well. I love Mateo with Augie as well because it really shows his need for family. I do picture Mateo as a total sex God.

Wilder- OK so this is the prime alpha. I felt it. I loved it. The guy cared so much about his pack and finding his true love. He was truly able to convey to Iris how much they needed her and loved her. He created exactly the environment. I like to see in my omegaverse books. I sensed a radiating kindness from him.

Overall, I love the storyline of this book. I love the future vision of this pack as a Hollywood powerhouse. The vision of how sexy Iris is with her curves and sex appeal had me extra excited! She didn't seem to feel insecure about her looks or body shape. I really like that in my books because I have so many personal insecurities about my body, I love reading about a woman my size and embracing her body and attracting positive attention. There was no doubt in anyone's head that Iris wasn't dropped down gorgeous.

I always love a good epilogue, but this one really had me squirming! I like when the Omega verse gives me a little bit of that breeding kink even if it's just two sentences!

OK, so I've tried to not give any spoilers. I have not been able to express how insanely hot and sexy this book was to read. It's so rare. The kinks I have personally seemed to just pour onto the pages. This author has one sexy mind and I appreciate her taking it as far as she did while still being plot driven.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Big thanks to Kayla Grosse/Kay Lynn for an ARC of this book. I can’t wait to read it at least three more times this year because WOW! This is going to be one of my favorites of the year for sure!

I am a big fan of omegaverse and I am so excited to see one of my favorite authors branching out into it. Honestly, in my opinion, the romance realm could (and should) get a bit weirder. This book was done in such an informative way for people who are just dipping their toes in which I think is really important. Not everyone has been reading this kind of stuff since it started in the 2010s fanfic community. Not everyone can be that cool. I get it. That being said, this is a great place to start! It’s short and there’s even information at the start of the book if you’re confused about what everything means.

So, what did I like about this book? Aside from the fact that I was smiling and giggling like a loon despite having a migraine while reading it? There is excellent representation in here. Kayla always does a great job of making sure people feel like they can see themselves in her characters and this book is no different. She does an amazing job of humanizing these characters too. Is this book mostly smut? I mean, yeah. You still feel for Iris as she is fighting between herself and her omega. The pack dynamics are so sweet to see as they change. There is still enough story and plot here despite this being relatively short…and let’s be honest more focused on knotting than anything else.

To be clear, we are all reading this for the knotting. No one is complaining. And my godddd…the knotting. The spicy scenes in this are delicious. I just cannot express to you. Literally toe curling. Reading this while walking my dog was hazardous. I was trying to keep a straight face, but I just kept giggling like a maniac because of all the good times being had by everyone. I really cannot wait to listen to this on audiobook because I just know those scenes are going to be an absolute delight. Can I vote for a full cast production, please? Pretty please?

Book 1 in the Angel City Omega Universe

With intense, heat filled sparks flying from the very beginning, these five will have you screaming for more as they quickly find their forever.

A shift is in the air. An unease and restlessness. Excitement nipping around the edges. They sense her coming, but are they truly ready for her? More importantly, is SHE ready for them?

The chemistry between these four men is sizzling hot and it's about to become an inferno... They are more than ready to worship their Omega, the one they've been waiting a long time for...

Pack Quinn. Three Alpha's. One Beta. All dominant in their own ways and fiercely, unapologetically protective. Wilder is the Prime and Director. He's dark, soothing & sinfully delicious. Jett is the Actor that's laid back, charismatic & flirty fun. Matteo is the Cinematographer and Augie's Mate. He's sultry, charming & smooth. And then there's August, the writer. Endearingly sweet, he's the calm in the middle of the unending storms. Together, they are absolute perfection!

For touch starved Omega, Iris Walker, landing the lead role in Genesis Studios production of Knotting Hill is a dream come true. While she's made a name for herself in her own right, this could be the one that solidifies her star status. She needs everything to go smoothly, but when coming face to face with her scent matches set off an intense heat, one that she's suppressed for entirely too long, will everything she's ever wanted fall apart around her? Or will she find everything she's ever wanted and needed? And once the haze of her heat wears off, and her Omega quiets just a little, will Iris see through her doubts and choose her pack, just as they chose her?

Take this quick, smokin hot journey and fall head over heels for Pack Quinn!

🎬 Lights, Camera… Knotting! A Scorchingly Fun Omegaverse Read

My first step into the world of spicy romance was actually an omegaverse book, so seeing one of my favourite authors dive into the trope felt meant to be—and wow, did she deliver.

Lights, Camera, Knots is Kayla Grosse’s first omegaverse under her new pen name Kay Lynn and it absolutely lives up to the expectations I had going in.

Iris Walker has finally landed her dream acting role, but the timing couldn’t be worse. Her heat suppressants have just worn off and the director, cinematographer, writer, and leading man all turn out to be her scent matches. Instead of just making movie magic, she’s suddenly trying very hard not to combust before filming even begins.

Iris is a curvy, touch-starved omega who is trying to stay in control while surrounded by the Quinn pack—and resisting them quickly becomes impossible. Matteo, Augie, Wilder, and Jett are everything you want from alphas and betas: protective, caring, and completely smitten with their omega. I especially loved the pack dynamics and how naturally they fit together.

This is a high-heat, low-angst read that I devoured in a single day. The story focuses heavily on Iris’s heat and the developing bond within the pack, but there’s still enough character and emotional moments to make you really root for them all.

If you enjoy omegaverse, scent matches, pack dynamics, sudden heat, and very high spice, this is such a fun and accessible read—especially for anyone curious about trying the trope for the first time.

Thank you Kayla for the ARC. These are my honest voluntary if not slightly overheated thoughts!

LIGHTS, CAMERA, KNOT is for when you're craving  cover to cover banging.

Iris is a touch-starved, goal-oriented omega, who just landed a career-making role in a highly anticipated movie. Her body might be telling her she needs the relief of a controlled heat, but her schedule says she ain't got the time. Now she's on set with the industry's current hit makers, and they happen to be an unbonded pack ... and their scents call to each other like no other. Falling into the arms (and nest) of strangers that smell and feel like home will derail production, but it might be the best thing to ever happen to her.

Yes, the smut is the plot. Iris' omega needs her pack in a biologically imperative kind of way when her heat breaks through in response to their scents. Her pack does not disappoint. They do the metaphorical "swipe everything off the desk" to their filming schedule and make her their only priority. They care for her mind and body thoroughly. Passionately. Creatively. Iris is getting the "satisfaction guaranteed" treatment she deserves.

And the pack is hot. Wilder (Prime Alpha), Jett (Alpha), Mateo (Alpha), and August (beta) give a little something for everyone. More so, they form a very complimentary cohesive pack for Iris. She will literally want for nothing.

Also of note, there is a glossary of terms included in the book for any readers new to omegaverse stories. It's worth a look over even if you're a seasoned connoisseur since verses can vary by author.

Highly recommend LIGHTS, CAMERA, KNOT for a fast spicy read that scratches some cravings only an omegaverse story can.

Thank you author, Kay Lynn, the advanced digital copy to read and review. That was a ride!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Kayla Grosse’s books, so when I heard she was writing an omegaverse romance, my heart practically leapt out of my chest! I was absolutely buzzing with excitement, and I can honestly say this one did not let me down. It’s pure fun, utterly sweet, but at the same time, so scorchingly spicy — I couldn’t put it down!

Choosing a favourite MMC? That’s almost impossible! I’d be drooling over all of them all day long if I could. But Augie, oh my goodness, he’s got a special place in my heart that I don’t think will ever fade. In the world of omegaverse, I truly value the strength and balance Betas bring to the pack. They often get overlooked because they’re seen as “weaker,” but not in this pack — no way! I adore how this lot embraces that strength, especially Augie. His bond with Mateo? Absolutely sizzling. The way he dives into pack dynamics, never shy, always bold — yes please! Wilder giving orders with that commanding presence? I was here for it all.

And can I just say how those MMCs could spew the most filthy, dirty talk one moment and then turn around to treat her like she’s their entire universe? My heart was melting into a puddle — I was swooning so hard! This story is packed with high heat, low angst — just the way I love it — and don’t even get me started on all those knots. It’s an intense, passionate ride from start to finish — I was completely and utterly captivated!

4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

When I received the ARC, I squealed. I wasn't expecting it at all but it made me a very happy woman. Omegaverse has been one of my favourite things to read lately.

Kay Lynn's debut is one for the records. I have devoured everything she has written so far as Kayla Grosse and loved every single book of hers, so I had no doubt this was going to be awesome. And I was not mistaken, she delivers.

Iris is wonderful and independent, and she doesn't want her designation to be a handicap for her in her acting career. But she arrives to the set for her next film and goes into heat because she is no longer on anti suppressants (she has already been for too long and her doctor doesn't write her a prescription) and she finds her mates.

It is very difficult to choose which MMC is my favourite, I would probably be drooling with all of them all day long, but Augie has a special place in my heart. When reading omegaverse, I always value the great balance Betas can bring to the pack. As they are the "weakest" designation, they tend to be overlooked, but not in this pack (which I absolutely adore). I loved the relationship he has with Mateo and how he participates in pack dynamics without a shy bone on his body (Wilder giving orders... 😏)

I really need Kay Lynn writing more omegaverse. Please and thank you.

100% recommended!
Happy reading! ❤️

Let me tell you, I've been waiting for this book to come out, and Kayla Grosse writes good smut...

Some of it is not even the smut and fluff itself. There is a story leading into it, and the emotions that goes along with it. Typically, I'm not usually a fan for a pack or omega verse (have I read them? yes. I just don't have the same level of appreciation than other readers - it's a me thing). But this goes beyond that, each of the MCs have a connection, have a desire/need to protect Iris their omega. Nice touch on the scent match, that's a whole other layer, but if you put them together, they make a tasty drink.

What I appreciate too is that each of their personalities shown thru, unlike some I've read that kinda ran together. Augie, though Beta, has alot of empathy and calm in him. Mateo is intelligent both IQ and EQ, much more quicker on the uptick. Jett is a puppy at heart, while Wilder is the teddy bear at heart even though he's the Prime of the Alphas. But you really feel it and 'get' it when you are reading the book. Bonus: Wilder is pierced = hot!!!

Very happy to see that they're all seeking the same HEA and they found it in each other. THat's very sweet, and thank goodness for her assistant Sadie for setting her straight.

Thank you to the author for the ARC.

I think their is steam coming off my kindle! This book was HOT!! I love Omegaverse, it’s one of my fav tropes in romance and Kay Lynn delivered a High Heat (pun intended) low angst read! The FMC Iris is curvy, actress who just landed her dream gig.. the only issue is she’s out of the suppressants she’s been on for a year and her doc won’t renew them for her. Despite being doused in neutralizers and descending spray when she stepped on set with the Quinn pack she quickly realized she was not going to be able to resist them. The MMCs were everything you want in Alphas and Betas! Protective, caring and absolutely taken by their Omega! I loved them! Most of this book is centered around her heat and man was it Scorching Hot🥵🌶️🔥 I love when the boyfriends are boyfriends with Alpha Matteo and Augie (beta) being mates. Wilder and Jett (alphas) were so protective of her too! They are all smitten with Iris! There is brief miscommunication but it’s quickly addressed. The pack was perfect together! This was a fun, easy, high spice read that I finished in a day!

“I was trying to remain professional, but she’s perfect. More than perfect. Kind, hardworking, tall and voluptuous, with hips that I could grip on to and not worry about hurting as she took my knot. It’s the kind of body that’s made for me, for my pack. Mine.”

I received an arc of this book.
This book is quite the hallmark of an omegaverse. Iris is an actor who has been on suppressants for a long time but she just got her dream gig so she is pushing her heat which is the worst thing you can do as an omega. Even completely slathered in deodorizers, she still has this immediate connection and interaction with first Mateo and then Augie. Jett and Wilder also make her heart beat super fast. I loved being in the guys’ points of view because I haven’t read many omegaverse where we get to be in the head of an alpha who’s potentially going into a rut. How depressing is it to find your scent match and not even be able to smell them at first? Clearly her omega was desperately trying to tell her something, but she had stopped herself from being able to experience it. I love everything about a heat, from the nest to alphas checking in with their omega, and all of the fun positions you can get into. There were so many spicy combos and beautifully intimate moments one-on-one. It's incredibly sobering to be back into your logical mind and not in the throw of hormones. I enjoyed watching this new fivesome figure out logistics. Yes, they are scent matches but how do they exist in the real world? How do they get to know each other and what are the next steps for them in their careers?

I’ve been a huge fan of Kayla’s for so long, so when I heard she was writing an Omega-verse for the first time, I was super excited. This was my first omega-verse read and I really enjoyed it.
Lights Camera Knot is fast paced, amusing and incredibly spicy. The story revolves around Iris, who finds herself scent matched with a pack of 4 men when she turns up to her first day of work on their movie set. After being on heat suppressants for a year, and then having her prescription denied, she’s clearly ready to explode and things heat up fast.
Despite doing her best to fight the connections, it quickly becomes evident that she needs these men and they need her. What ensues is an UNBELIEVABLY spicy week filled with more orgasms than one could possibly imagine, as well as a variety of kinks that may leave you blushing and needing a cool shower!
I love Wilder, Jett, Mateo and August so much. These men worshiped Iris and I thoroughly enjoyed their distinct personalities and traits that made them individuals but still part of a pack. Together they were so damn hot and I’m gonna need my own pack now thanks Kayla! lol 😂 🙈
I truly enjoyed this book and I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to ARC read it. I also can’t wait for the next book in the series!!

WOW, WOW, WOW! This book starts off strong. Kay Lynn effortlessly weaves the world-building of an omegaverse into the story without losing the plot or tension.

I was a little nervous about keeping track of all the male characters, and worried that the passion between them might fall through the cracks because of it. But once again, Kay Lynn pulls it off. She blends the characters’ pack dynamics beautifully while still making each one feel like a distinct individual. Every character has their own personality and presence, which makes them feel like real people rather than just part of the group.

Iris's character was such a breath of fresh air to read about. It's not often that you read about a fuller figured female character and I adored it! The communication between Iris and her pack was top notch! Consent was flying left and right and I loved it! While VERY spicy and not for first time spice readers - this was top notch!

This was a great intro into this new world and I can't wait to read more about Iris and Pack Quinn!

Thank you to Kay Lynn for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

The dedication for this book honestly felt like it was written directly for me.
And by chapter five I already knew it was going to be a top read. I was completely obsessed.

One of my favorite things in omegaverse is when characters have internal dialogue with their designations, a sassy little omega voice, a feral alpha instinct, and this book delivered that perfectly. It adds so much fun tension and personality to the pack dynamic.

The chemistry between this group was incredible. The story balances filthy spice with genuinely sweet moments, and I loved watching them slowly fall into their baser instincts as the bond between them grows stronger. That irresistible pull toward each other, the loss of control when mates are near… peak omegaverse energy.

My only complaint? I wanted more. I’m greedy and could have happily spent 900 pages with this pack!

If you love pack dynamics, scent matches, and a group that can’t resist each other for long, this one is absolutely worth picking up.

A huge thank you to Kay Lynn for letting me ARC read Lights, Camera, Knot so early. I honestly couldn't put it down and ended up devouring the entire thing in a single day. She's created such a fantastic omegaverse, and I am already planning to buy a physical copy just to have it as a trophy on my shelf.

Iris is such a fantastic FMC, but can we talk about how absolutely down bad these MMCs were for her? I loved that each MMC had such a distinct personality and unique traits, making it impossible not to love them all equally. Wilder is the ultimate teddy bear alpha who still knows exactly how to be domineering in all the right ways, while Jett brings those intense protective alpha vibes, a swoon-worthy accent, and a nickname for Iris that I’m keeping secret because of potential spoilers but totally obsessed over. Then there’s Mateo, who has a nickname for her that is just perfection, and of course, the sweet beta August, who is Mateo’s mate. The dynamic between all of them was just chef’s kiss. Without giving away any spoilers, the story and the world-building were everything I wanted and more.

This book was SO FREAKING GOOD. I am so glad that Kayla Grosse finally decided to publish an omegaverse novel and it was somehow more amazing than I knew it would be. I feel like she was BORN to write omegaverse. In my opinion, she is the queen of spice, and she really outdid herself in this book. I swore I was about to go into heat myself. The amazing thing about Kayla is that she not only writes scorching hot spicy scenes but she adds emotional depth to them. I was legitimately almost crying at parts because I related so much to Iris's fear of rejection and inconveniencing her pack. Kayla also wrote FIVE main characters that she gave distinct personalities to in a 233 page book. That is incredible. I've read longer books with fewer characters that had less character development. I loved this book so much and I can't wait to read the next one in the series!!! I highly recommend you check this out if you're an omegaverse fan and/or if you like fast burn high-heat books.
Thank you to the author for an advanced copy of the book.

Y’all I have loved this author for years and she will always be an auto-buy author for me. I always know when I’m picking up one of her books that I’m going to be in for some amazing spice scenes. And let me tell you the spice in Lights, Camera, Knot did not disappoint. It was hot, quick and 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. But even though this book had phenomenal spice scenes. I want more than just spice. I want plot, yearning, dialogue. There was absolutely none of that. And trust me I get that’s most likely not this book’s intention which is fine. Again I had a fun time reading it. But I actually enjoyed this pack. And I wanted to learn more about them. I wanted to see more of their relationship as a groups and as individuals. I hope in book 2 we can elaborate more on this pack or get more in depth for the world all together.

Overall, this isn’t my favorite by her, but it’s still a great freaking time and I’d definitely recommend it. Thanks again to Kay Lynn and her team for allowing me to read an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Thank-you to Kay for gifting me an ARC of this book!

This book was bound to be a hit with me- written by one of my favourite authors and it’s Omegaverse! Winner! Lights, Camera, Knot follows Omega film actress Iris Walker, who lands her dream role on the film Knotting Hill (yes, I know 🤣) written and produced by the Quinn Pack.
The Quinn pack are famous for their film work and for also being a bonded pack. Wilder is their Prime Alpha, with Alpha Jett, and established couple Alpha Mateo and Beta August.
When Iris has a mishap with her suppressants, and accidentally goes into heat on set, it turns out that the Quinn Pack are more than willing to help her out. And more!
I lived the fast pace of this book- something I love about OV. The chemistry between Iris and the pack is delicious and the bonds the pack have with each other are endearing. This book is sweet and spicy as all hell, with omega heats, alpha ruts, kinky fun, DP, f!sting and knotting, as well a tender and caring moments as the pack looks after her during her heat.
Looking forward to book 2 int he series already!!!

Loved this book.

This is the authors first OV romance, & I was here for it! Iris is an Omega actress. When she turns up for her first day on set, she discovers that her prescription for her heat supplements hasn’t been approved. She’s been on them a while, so she’s understandably nervous but convinced herself she’ll be fine for the month long shoot.

But stepping onto the set & coming face to face with Mateo of Pack Quinn, her Omega is itching to break free. Mateo can sense there is something different about this Omega, but under all the neutralisers she’s wearing it’s hard for him to be sure - & Iris seems to be oblivious.

However, after meeting the rest of the pack, Iris’s Omega cannot be contained any longer, & she breaks out into a heat.

Most of the plot is contained within the first few chapters, leaving the majority of the book to deal with Iris’s heat - & what a heat! It features all of the best spice we can expect from an OV romance, & of course ends with a HEA that will make you swoon.

ARC Review ✨

Lights, Camera, Knot
By Kay Lynn

I was hooked from the dedication… and it only got better from there.

This book pulled me in so fast. I loved the way the omega/beta/alpha instincts felt like this constant second voice, it added so much tension and depth to every interaction.

The Quinn pack?? Obsessed. Wilder, Jett, Mateo and Augie are the perfect balance. The dynamic between them is everything…chaotic in the best way, but also so grounded in love. The banter, the history, the way they just get each other… perfection.

And then you throw Iris into the mix?? The chemistry is immediate, intense, and honestly hard to look away from. The tension throughout this book just builds and builds in the best way.

No spoilers, but if you love

❤️‍🔥strong pack dynamics
❤️‍🔥protective energy
❤️‍🔥scent matches
❤️‍🔥emotional tension + insane chemistry
❤️‍🔥Heats + Ruts

…you need this on your TBR immediately.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
spice: 100/5 🌶️

Thank you to Kay Lynn for the ARC — I’m already waiting (impatiently) for the next book 📚🫦

And yes this is how you write an amazing omegaverse book!! Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner! I’m in awe!! I’ve been down the omegaverse rabbit hole for some time now and sadly most of them are a miss but damn it i think i was just waiting for this book and i hope the author writes more of these crack filled books.
I work full time, am a busy mom and wife but yet I took the time off and read this book in one sitting. You best believe we had take out for dinner!!
I absolutely adored our heroine Iris. She was so sweet and cute but yet so down to earth and sure is her self.
Her pack consists of Wilder (sexy tattoo man), Jett (our hot leading actor) Mateo (whose sensual Spanish accent I could just imagine) and our hot Beta August (who apparently looks like Clark Kent) Loved them sooo much!! They were adorable and protective and knew immediately that Iris was their omega!
Absolutely and highly recommend for an easy, spicy and adorable read!!
Run people…

Lights, Camera, Knot by Kay Lynn

Spice: 5 out of 5🌶️
Overall book: 4.95 out of 5🌟, almost 5 fully.

Review: I love it! This is my first time reading a book from Kay Lynn and having an ARC is most grateful and appreciated, thank you Kay Lynn! 🫶

First of all, I love the spice! It is 100 percent amazingggg!!!

Second of all, I have finished this in one straight go under 5 hours, so good🫦 I only wished it was longer, sadly.

Lastly and thirdly, I really like how the story plot was going, only that I just felt it was a little too fast and I would really love to know Iris and her pack more, like how and why their experiences in life has shaped personalities as such into these characters to life. And how and why their personalities would suit Iris as such, like courting or dates, I would love if we get more glimpses of those moments.

But overall it was a pleasant book to read and I can't wait for the next book in this new omegaverse series. Finished on 14 March 2026.

I seriously cannot believe that this is Author Kay Lynn's first omegaverse!
Seriously this book had me instantly hooked!
From the bombshell baddie omega FMC, who just wants to be successful in acting career and life.
To these walking gods that have formed Pack Quinn...the bad boy film director prime alpha, the southern sweetheart famous actor alpha, the sweet and funny cinematographer alpha, and last but definitely not least the writer and sweetest beta that's had a HUGE crush on our leading lady!
These characters have not only the raw and primal chemistry of being scent matches... but also the instant lust and attraction.
Then add in a good old surprise heat and we have a recipe for some pretty HAWT scenes!
The way this author mixed the spice with the sweetness was incredible.
How these MMCs could do and say the filthiest things and then turn around and treat her like their entire universe had me melting and swooning!
It was high heat, low angst... and full of knots!

Review from ARC reader!

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of this masterpiece!

Omegaverse is hands down my favorite genre of books and Kay did not disappoint.

Iris is a curvy omega who has been denied her suppressants right before she started on the biggest film in her career. First day on set she’s supped up on desensitizers and clinical grade nose spray. Unbeknownst to her she’s about to meet her scent matches.

The alphas and beta are the best mixture of soft and hard. I absolutely love the banter and love they have for one another through this whole book.

Their Prime is hard on the outside but a cinnamon roll on the inside. And I love the relationship the three alphas have with their beta who is the calm to their storm.

Kay has definitely put in the work to make you fall in love with each character individually and collectively.

I can’t wait to see what’s next in her omegaverse journey.

Obsessed. Honestly, Kay Lynn (Kayla Grosse) writes in a way that makes you feel like you're a part of the story every single time. This book is set in the Omegaverse where scent matches and biology leads Omegas, Alphas, and Betas to their packs. From the characters: Iris- curvy/plus size omega actress getting her big break starring in movie written and produced by Pack Quinn's company, whom she was already crushing on, To pack Quinn: Wilder- the 6'5" tattooed director and Prime Alpha, Jett- the male lead actor, Alpha, golden god, Mateo- the cinematographer, Alpha, speaks Spanish, mated to August, August-Augie as the pack calls him, Beta, writer of the movie, calm, mated to Mateo. You cant help but fall in love with each of them and their dynamic. I'm not great at reviews and dont want to be too effusive and spoil anything but sometimes we're drawn to people long before we every truly get to know their depths, as though our souls know something our brains have yet to figure out.

ARC Review

Wow! I am a huge fan of Kay's other books and was lucky enough to receive an ARC for this one. As a huge fan of both omegaverse and Kay's I was thrilled when I found out her latest book would be one and she slayed it!

The book has excellent pace, great characters and the world building is so seamless! I love all the little nods to the film industry - one well loved film in particular! I thought that the male pack members were not typical which was fantastic- we love interesting MMCs and their relationship as a pack was beautifully written.
Iris as our FMC is brilliant, she is a strong independent woman who knows what she wants and is going for it!
And when they come together, oh boy do things heat up! All the spice!

All in all I loved the book, I would absolutely reccomend and I cannot wait for the next in this series!
Kay you slayed and thank you so much for the ARC! ❤️
