A locked gaze, and Giselle finds herself mated to Lord Vashael, an ancient fae who was just as horrified to see the mating mark appear on his own palm. Unexpected, but he wouldn't leave without her. She bargained herself for the care of her family and her people. The story was a quick read, but interesting and I liked the setting of this world. Definitely continuing with part two. 4 stars.

It was the Summer Festival and Giselle was taking a break from her father's tavern when Lord Vashael, the ancient fae ruler, came riding into the village square. Giselle was drawn to him, felt a jolt, a crimson marking appeared on her left palm. The same markings appeared on Lord Vashael's palm. He tells her it's the sacred bond and they are now mated. Before agreeing to go with him, Giselle "secured a future for her family and village." Later that night Giselle was going through bond-fever. She refused to ask for Lord Vashael, attempting to endure it until he came to her. They fulfill the bond and to Giselle's delight Lord Vashael thaws a little, admitting that she feels "like nothing I have known before."

This is short, but spicy take of fated mates meeting for the first time.

Giselle was just another normal human at the Summer Festival, but when the ancient Fae lord Vashael shows up at the event for the first time in years, her life is turned on its head.

Fate had decided the two would share the Sacred Bond, binding their two souls together, and as distance would cause immeasurable pain, Giselle had to say goodbye to her family, friends and home, and travel to Lord Vashael's home.

This is spice, with a bit of a plot, and a short, fun read. Perfect for a lazy afternoon.

At the festival, she is outside watching the riders pass when Lord Vashael sees her and the bond marks both of them in that instant. Surprise and wariness overtake them both but later that evening when the bond requires them to be together all walls drop and pleasure abounds.

A short, hot, quick read that will be continued. Lord Vasheal is an Ancient fea who visits the small city of Meadowvale. Lord Vasheal meets Giselle. The unexpected happens and the mark of the sacred bond appears to both of them. Lord Vasheal is not thrilled, but he can not change fate. Giselle leaves with him. At his mansion, Giselle and Lord Vasheal strengthen their bond and passion burns between them.

Hot and quick fae smut story. I wanted it to be longer tbh. Like what was it like for them after. I needed more. I needed a full story. Lord Vashael is over a 1000 years old he suddenly gets mated to Giselle who is 23. She agrees to go with him if he protects her village and provides for her family. He does then they get spicy once they get home that night. It was good I just wanted a full length story.

This is a short story that gets to the point very quickly. Lord Vashael, an ancient fae, arrives in the village and encounters Giselle. When this happens, an ancient bonding mark appears on both of them. This is a steamy escape read with glimpses of a happy future. I enjoyed it!

Short but not sweet. No chemistry between the characters and the intimacy is non existent. This is not erotic fantasy for adults,but for teens.
