I love poetry and Lauren’s book is full of sweet, vulnerable, raw poems that really draw me in.

If you are a lover of poems get this book! And even if you are not, get this book!

L.M. Beatty is us. Her writer’s voice captures and puts to paper all the “messy bits”  for all of us, even a ‘boomer’ like me! The bonus sketches add interest – but does not distract from - the white space of poetry. I would recommend this collection for yourself, but also as a delightful gift.
