Blakely is off to visit her brother in Alaska where he’s stationed with the coast guard. Unfortunately before she arrives he gets food poisoning and asks his best friend, Jaxson to meet her at the airport. It’s love at first sight for the both of them. The pull between them is undeniable and the chemistry is off the charts. Jaxson is a loyal friend to Blakely’s brother but when she leaves, he feels as if his world has fallen apart. Blakely is kind and caring and now realizes she spent her previous relationship doing things fo her ex and not taking into account what she wanted out of life. A great read in this new series. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Welcome to J Squad and New Haven - Action, Adventure of a lot of Hawt men
Jaxson is the first book in the new Guardians of the North series and it was a fantastic story. This book introduces us to the six men of the "J Squad" of the Coast Guard. They had all gone through boot camp together and they earned the nickname because of their names - Jaxson, Jordan, Jonas, Joel, James and Jasper. After training they were split up but now they are reunited again and stationed in North Haven, Alaska. Jaxson Daniels is thirty-five years old rescue swimmer who is the walking definition of "sex-on-a-stick" that you just want to lick all over. He has enjoyed women basically landing in his lap for years but a year ago he decided he was ready to find the woman he was meant to settle down with. Blakely Harris is the younger sister of Jordan. She has flown to Alaska to spend a long weekend with her brother after not seeing him for the last few years. Blakely is living a life right now that is not what she wants. She works at a job that pays well and she is good at but is boring. Her real passion is photography of nature and wild animals. She also recently broke off her engagement to man that she had been with for a couple of years but who did a number on her self-esteem. Jaxson has just gotten off a twenty-four hour shift and a rescue and is looking forward to a hot shower, food and then sleep. But that plan is about to be upended completely, along with his life, when he gets a call from Jordan. Jordan was supposed to pick up Blakely but he had a run in with a less then quality food truck, but the tacos were amazing, and has ended up with food poisoning. Jordan as the biggest favor - pick up Blakely, take her to dinner and then let her sleep at his house for the night. Jaxson and Blakely don't know it yet but cupid is working some overtime and is about to shoot both of these two right in the heart. Even as they fight their attraction to each other, as there is the slight issue of Jordan and what he would do, they still cannot keep away from each other.
I really enjoyed this story and am so looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series. It has excitement, romance, sizzling hot chemistry that will singe your fingers, humor, family, friends and more. This book is a definite RECOMMEND READ!

Jaxson is the first book in Guardians of the North series. This amazing start is Jaxson and Blakely's story. Blakely is head to visit her brother who is stationed in Alaska, she brock off her engagement and is at a job she can't stand. Wanting a few days away, she is not expecting to find love and happiness. Jaxson his Jordan's best friend and will do anything to help him. When Jordan calls to Jaxson to meet Blakely at the airport, since he is suffering from food poisoning.
I got lost in their story, I love the instant connection, the struggle and tension they face as they try to avoid the pull toward each other. Jordan is a brother that you warms your heart and makes you laugh.
This is a series that makes me do a happy dance.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Jaxson is the first book in the ‘’guardians of the north’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Blakely goes to Alaska to visit her brother, she doesn’t expect to find love. When Jaxson does his best friend a favour, will he get more than he expected?
The chemistry between Jaxson and Blakely is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Within the first few pages you know you are in for a fantastic story. Blakely’s coming to visit her brother in New Haven Alaska. But her brother comes down with food poisoning and can’t pick her up so his best friend, Jaxson fills in. When Jaxson sees her his heart kicks up, his hands get sweaty and he knows he is going to be in trouble! When Jaxson meets Blakely the temperature rises for both. It is a sweet, heartwarming, sexy, passionate, steamy romance. Great story with a touch of crazy. Oh, so good! I loved this story and the characters were perfect for each other - dynamic and enjoyable.

When Jaxson sees Blakely he is totally screwed. She the most breathtaking woman he's ever seen. When Blakely turns and sees Jaxson she is instantly attracted. She only has 3 days to visit her brother who spends most of his days sick. Jaxson and Blakely have the hottest, passionate, chemistry that make Blakely want to stay in Alaska. These two were dynamite together. Loved the HEA.

Without a doubt one steamy read of falling for your best friends little sister. Enjoyed the characters of Jaxson and Blakely, very well matched, he being genuine looking for a real connection to spend his life with and her so full of life just waiting to burst forth with the right partner. I was a bit shocked with her brother’s reaction, but at the same time understandable. The ending was fantastic and looking forward to the next book.

Volgens mij ben ik een van de weinige die dit boek geen 4 of meer sterren geeft. Ik vond het idee geweldig maar het boek was zo kort dat ik alles veel te snel vond gaan. Ik was hier aan het begin al bang voor maar het verhaal leek me zo leuk dat ik toch een poging heb gedaan.
En het verhaal was ook echt leuk maar binnen 3 ( eigenlijk 2 en half) dagen verliefd zijn en je hele leven omgooien gaat wel erg hard. En alles werd een beetje afgeraffeld dus helaas niet mijn boek. Wel 2.5 sterren omdat ik het idee echt leuk vond.

Oh my this book will forsure make the reader swoon.. this story truly was fantastic and I hope there will be more to this series and read about the other group of men.
Jaxson and Blakely are the perfect couple once they finally gave in to the craving and attraction for the other. Sure they tried their hardest, but when you meet the person who completes you you dont give them up.

An amazing brother’s best friend romance and book one in the Guardians of the North series! It is sweet, passionate, engaging, relatable, funny, steamy, romantic, and well written. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Yall will love the J squad, and Jaxson was the perfect one to kick of the Guardian of the North series. When Jaxsons best friend Jordan gets food poisoning, Jaxson has the task to pick up his sister Blakely. The minute they meet they are immediately attracted. I love their story and hope the whole J squad finds their happily ever after.

This was a great start to this series. I really enjoyed Jaxson and Blakely's relationship, and how their personalities complimented each other well. You could tell how attentive Jaxson was, and I loved that he actually listened to her and immediately made plans for things that he knew she would enjoy. It was a great start to this series and I can't wait to read more.

Loved this book, their story, and how incredibly fast they fell in love, makes me wonder if live at first sight is real.
Definitely worth reading, and now I must go and read the rest.
