Book 3 in an epic new LitRPG Progression Fantasy Series where humans battle monsters and the good die young.
Featuring a focus on battles, leveling up, strategy, tactics, and political intrigue, it's perfect for fans of A Soldier's Life, Limitless Lands, and The Accidental Champion.
If you look past the atrocious number of grammatical errors, the story itself continues to be interesting and compelling.
Unfortunately, you *can't* look past the atrocious number of grammatical errors because they're too numerous. Commas in the wrong place, incorrect words used (it's 'abdicate the throne', not 'advocate the throne') and numerous inconsistencies in stats. LitRPG is infamous for having poorly edited books, but this one is easily the worst I've ever seen. It's that bad.
It's patently obvious the author didn't even do the most basic skimming of his own manuscript before publishing it. He really needs to pull down the book, fix the (atrocious) grammatical errors and then re-publish it.
Basically what the title says. I am loving the progression of this story, but I will see grammar errors or spelling errors and get confused on what the author means and that takes me out of the story. Just needs to be edited better and it would be a five star for me. Can't wait for the next book!
I like this series, world, and the MC is worth cheering. My problem is that it’s beyond obvious that some kind of speech to text was used without any kind of editing or proofing. Words that are wrong but sound similar for example holy instead of holly, nobody wears a wreath of holy on their heads. Suddenly changes from first person to third person in the same sentence, lack of quotes in the middle of conversations. The story is good but the constant and numerous grammatical errors for a published book just constantly breaks immersion in the story. Seriously wonder if AI could have at least told you sections that needed to be reviewed instead of the raw release. Here to hoping the next one is easier to read.
While the writing is excellent and story enjoyable, it is unfortunately also prone to spelling mistakes, punctuation being missing or misplaced in jaring ways, and the stat page being inconsistent in places.
It is fixable with some actual proofreading, which I'm surprised wasn't already done.
As always the story is good but I feel like we weee on a mad dash to get somewhere and we were dropped off early. This is book 3/3 and there are SO MANY unresolved questions. Also there are many spelling and sentence errors that takes the reader away from the story. I hope this story/series gets another three books.
This is one of the best new series I have read and look forward to next book. The hero is worthy of cheering for, his Allie’s growing in depth as series continues, and writer does an excellent job of keeping some mysteries unresolved.
Was another good read of course the lost of a star is because of the typos in this book I love how I don’t have to wait too long for this exciting story to be released
If you liked the first two books, you'll love this one. Although thereOP are a few editing errors, the story is plenty good to make up for it with lots of action, progression, and an interesting story line.
Love the characters, the plot, the action. I will be reading the next book because it will have you hooked. My only issue is the grammatical errors that break my submersion in the story.
Story was good again in this installment. But for the love of God, please get an EDITOR!!!! It literally takes you out of the story. Look forward to the next one
This is a fine fantasy adventure novel. It is well written and edited. I especially liked the flying demon leader. I anxiously await the author's next novel.
Love the character and the story progression. The books are very well written and full of action and intrigue! Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
I really liked the first 2 books but this one, the 3rd, feels rushed. Many, many editing mistakes, or just no editing at all. I couldn't finish the book.
