This book was exactly what I hoped it would be! There was enough history, connection, and context to keep me interested without veering into the boring. There were several topics I’ve been inspired to look more into as a result of this book. Finally, the questions she asks at the beginning are so thought-provoking and the ideas she provides throughout the book are truly actionable for seasoned practitioners and the witch-curious alike!

A lot of this knowledge i was raised with as my mother is Pagan, but this is so educational and explains it in a way that is palatable for most to connect the dots and see how witchcraft has been around longer than they realize. It reminds me every celebration happens for a reason and we are so innately human and magical.
