Yours and Mine
Andrea Walker has been watching the neighborhood of Carver Heights crumble around her since she was a little girl, torn apart by thugs trying to carve out a name or their share of the profits. Her grandmother told stories of a better time for the Heights, but those days are long gone and now Andy does whatever she can to hold together what good there is left while dreaming of better.
When a new boss moves in, she expects more of the same. Instead, she finds herself questioning everything she thought she wanted; for the Heights and herself.
Marcus has been guarding Mr. Mariano for over a decade. He’s been in love with him nearly as long. He takes his job, and the professional distance he keeps from his boss, seriously. When Mr. Mariano finally acts on his plan to take Carver Heights, he can’t say he’s happy about the move. The place is a dilapidated rat’s nest of problems, the biggest being a woman with a smart mouth, no survival instincts, and unrealistic ideals.
But when he’s forced into the job of trying to keep her safe, Marcus finds his own ideas about trust, friendship, and love challenged in ways he never thought possible.
Lance Mariano wants Carver Heights. And he always gets what he wants. Building on a family legacy, he sets out to win the Heights by any means necessary. But he runs into trouble when he discovers the biggest obstacle isn’t the wayward criminals, but a woman whose fire makes him question himself and threatens to burn him and his plans to the ground.
‘Yours and Mine’ is a soft Mafia-esque romance with multiple POVs, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, and enemies to friends to unique soulmates. This story does touch on darker themes such as prostitution, substance abuse, and violence, but the overall tone is not dark and there is, as always, a HEA. This story contains explicit MM and MF romance scenes and is intended for readers 18+

'My last thought before sleep took me was that I wanted every night for the rest of my life to end just like this.'
I loved this book. Good world building and wonderful characters. I loved Marcus, Lance, and Andy. I liked the dynamic between them and the way their relationship developed. A mafia boss, his guard, and the woman he "hired" to treat people who got hurt. She was a spitfire and strong-willed, and had no trouble speaking her mind. She very cared about the people she helped though and it showed. I loved the connection between Marcus and Lance, something that had been building for years. I was most excited for them to come together. This was a fun read and I loved the banter. 5 stars

too short!
Other than several niticeable grammar mistakes, the writing was good eventhough it is a very short book. The writing wasn’t jumpy and flows perfectly. Spoiler alert
I hope Andy and Marcus will love each other just how the love Lance. Andy deserves 2 dicks! But then Marcus is gay so we have to respect that! >•>|*
