Aiyana is the kind of heroine I’ve been waiting for—brave, stubborn, and totally relatable. The mix of high school drama and magical chaos makes this book so entertaining. I couldn’t put it down and already can’t wait for book two!

This story pulled me in from page one. The magical duels had me on the edge of my seat, and the tension between Aiyana and her family legacy gave the story real heart. The romance is just the right touch—subtle but exciting. Definitely one of my new favorite YA fantasy reads.

I loved the pacing—it’s fast, fun, and full of surprises. Aiyana’s rebellious streak makes her such a compelling character, and the secret council watching her every move added a level of suspense that kept me hooked. Highly recommend for anyone who loves magic and strong female leads.

This isn’t just another witch story. Jordana Faye weaves humor, danger, and self-discovery into a plot that feels both thrilling and heartfelt. Aiyana’s struggle between embracing destiny and carving her own path is something I think a lot of readers will connect with.

The worldbuilding was rich without being overwhelming, and the characters felt so real. I adored Aiyana’s mix of troublemaking and vulnerability—it made her easy to root for. This book lays the foundation for what I’m sure will be an amazing series. Bring on the next one!
