Rate this book
A big-city event planner. A grumpy single dad. A meddling daughter with a maple syrup scheme.
Welcome to Sugarvale, where falling in love might just be the sweetest surprise of all.

Harper Lively has one rule that is never get attached. Especially not after a very public breakup with her ex-fiancé. The one who said dinner with another woman was “just business.” Needing a clean break, she accepts a last-minute job planning Sugarvale’s Fall Harvest Festival, expecting cool air, pretty leaves, and zero emotional entanglements.

What she doesn’t expect is Elias Monroe.

Grumpy maple syrup farmer. Widowed single dad. Determined to keep his peace and his heart untouched.

Elias wants nothing to do with the glittery city girl who rerouted half the festival deliveries to his sugar barn but his daughter has other plans. Suddenly, Harper and Elias are forced into a partnership neither asked for, with tension, sparks, and cider flying in all directions.

As autumn deepens and stolen moments grow sweeter, Harper must decide if this small-town life and the man who makes it feel like home is worth falling for… again.

A cozy, heartfelt romance full of sass, warmth, and second chances. Perfect for fans of grumpy sunshine tropes, single dads, and falling in love where you least expect it.
