Thanks to S. Wilson for providing the eARC. This is my honest opinion.

Who Will Risk Their Heart?

In ‘Unmasking Him’, one of Cole’s friends has been secretly in love with Cole’s little sister, Gracie, for years. Cole and his three best friends see it as their sacred duty to protect her from men, and for Gracie, they are like brothers, so falling in love is absolutely forbidden. The bond between Cole and his friends is palpable, and their protective nature adds an extra layer of tension and humor. The story follows two storylines: Gracie’s perspective and that of a mysterious man. The fact that this man is initially anonymous adds a delightful sense of suspense, making you wonder which friend could possibly be in love.

S. Wilson’s writing is direct, intense, and highly focused on the emotions of the main characters. Obsession, power, and emotional tension drive the story, while the theme of openness versus secrecy keeps the reader constantly on edge. The characters’ internal struggles between desire, loyalty, and self-preservation give the story more depth than a typical romance. It grips you emotionally and keeps you on the edge of your seat, making it hard to put the book down.

Although the plot may feel predictable to readers familiar with “stalker romances,” Gracie introduces an unexpected twist that gives the story a fresh spin. The moment she takes control herself breaks the predictable pattern of the genre, making the story both surprising and compelling. Fans of dark, intense New Adult romances like Stalked or Driven will find many familiar but also unexpected elements. While the plot’s predictability keeps it from being a five-star favorite, the combination of tension, emotion, and humor makes ‘Unmasking Him’ fully deserving of four stars.

Book 2 in the Blackwater University series: “Anonymous” and Gracie. This is a best friends little sister, OTT protective and possessive/obsessed MMC, hidden/secret identity , forbidden romance, stalker, dark college romance.
When I say this man in obsessed and infatuated with Gracie, I mean that in the msg extreme way. And with it being his best friend little sister? And said best friend as unhinged as anonymous is makes it beyond forbidden. This man is not in “lust” with her, he has loved her always and saved himself just for her. Always protecting her until he crossed the line, but wearing a mask at a party to hide his identity. I really loved Gracie, she was a relatable and sweet FMC. I loved seeing their story unfold and how perfect they are for each other.
This audiobook was narrated perfectly! It was in complete duet narration by two amazing voice actors and they did an amazing job with this audiobook. I would totally recommend this book/ audiobook and I can’t wait to continue this series and catch up on book one!

This book is a standout in the Dark College genre. It’s packed with elements that will keep you reading until the very end. I finished it in just one day.

Noah’s character is exceptionally well-crafted—his morally gray, obsessive, stalker-like side, his total devotion to her, always putting her first even while wearing a mask and pushing her out of her comfort zone—it’s all perfectly executed. Then there’s his other half: a loving, affectionate “golden retriever” personality—loyal, rational, and the most grounded of his friend group.

I really loved that the author gave Gracie a vengeful side. We’re so used to seeing the female lead accept everything and suffer through tears, but Gracie knew how to play Noah at his own game.

Now I’m eagerly awaiting the next books. I highly recommend this novel—it’s simply amazing.

Oh, I enjoyed this!

My favourite part about this was not knowing who the masked man is. Learning his identity at the same time as the FMC was really neat—and I guessed right, go me!

I enjoyed the writing and the pacing of this read, it was easy to get through. The characters were great. I did feel a little confused at times, since this is book 2 in a series, but it didn’t impact my overall enjoyment of the book.

Thanks for the ARC!

🖤🎭 A masked obsession, a best friend’s sister, and a love so unhinged it circles right back to devotion. 🎭🖤

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
Spice-meter: 🌶️🌶️🌶️☆☆ (3,5/5)
Audiobook: 🎧 Duet
Series: Blackwater University, Book 2 (interconnected standalone)
HEA: Yes

Unmasking Him was my first dive into S. Wilson’s world, and let’s just say I did not dip a toe in. I cannonballed straight into the deep end of obsession, secrets, and morally questionable devotion. This is one of those dark college romances that knows exactly what it is and leans into it without blinking.

The story may live in familiar stalker-romance territory, but the execution and emotional focus give it a sharp edge that makes it feel fresh. It’s intense, character-driven, and weirdly addictive in that “why am I rooting for this unhinged man?” kind of way.

The Story

Gracie Aston has always been off-limits. Best friend’s sister. Untouchable. Untouchable in theory, at least. One masked, anonymous encounter changes everything, and suddenly the line between fantasy and reality is completely gone.

The MMC is obsessed, delusional, and absolutely convinced Gracie belongs to him. His internal monologue is equal parts hilarious and deeply concerning. He falls first, falls hardest, and never once questions whether that’s healthy. It isn’t. That’s the point.

Gracie is not just a passive object of desire either. She brings an unexpected layer of agency and emotional complexity that keeps the story from becoming one-note. Her presence is what elevates this from just another stalker romance into something that actually has bite.

The pacing is tight, the tension stays high, and the story keeps moving without ever feeling rushed.

🎧 Narration

Performed in full duet by Angelina Rocca and Walker Williams, and they absolutely understood the assignment. The intensity, the obsession, the push-and-pull between desire and danger all come through crystal clear. Their performances make the characters feel disturbingly real, which is exactly what this kind of story needs.

If you’re going to go dark, you might as well go immersive.

What I Liked

✔️ A truly unhinged, obsessed MMC
✔️ Gracie’s unexpected depth and strength
✔️ Tight pacing that never drags
✔️ Emotional intensity without losing momentum
✔️ Dark romance that actually commits to being dark

Tropes & Vibes

✔️ Best Friend’s Sister
✔️ Stalker Romance
✔️ Masked Identity
✔️ Obsessive MMC
✔️ He Falls First
✔️ College Setting
✔️ Dark Romance

Final Thoughts

Unmasking Him is not here to be safe, sweet, or morally tidy. It’s intense, twisted, and oddly romantic in a way that makes you side-eye yourself for enjoying it. The MMC is completely off the rails, the chemistry is charged, and the emotional focus keeps you locked in from start to finish.

Not subtle. Not gentle. But highly addictive if you like your romance with a side of obsession and a dash of chaos.

Just… read the trigger warnings first. This one does not apologize.

Unmasking Him is the second audiobook in S. Wilson’s dark, college romance series, Blackwater University, which is a collection of interconnected standalones. This is a friends-to-lovers (by way of creepy, masked stalker) story, and I completely adored it from start to finish. Noah has been in love with Gracie as long as he can remember. The only problem is that as his best friend’s little sister, she is completely off limits. Only adding to his turmoil is the fact that she only sees him as a pseudo older brother. He had always intended to keep their relationship as such despite knowing there would never be another woman that could possibly compare to her. No matter how much it hurt, he’d just have to be content with being her friend. But one night, while wearing a mask that hides his identity, he and Gracie cross the line from friends to lovers. He thought he could live with the situation if he at least got to have her once. But after finally getting the girl of his dreams, he realizes there’s no going back for him. Something in him snaps, and he hatches a plan to win her over (as her masked stalker) before finally admitting his identity. And voila—next stop, HEA. What could possibly go wrong, right? A lot, as it turns out. But that journey to their eventual happily-ever-after is one spicy, darkly humorous, and wildly entertaining ride. I can’t quite figure out whether Noah is a creepy stalker with the heart of a golden retriever, or the other way around. Either way, I am soooo here for it!

The incredible duet-style narration from Angelina Rocca and Walker Williams just ratcheted up my enjoyment of this story ten fold. Angelina Rocca was fantastic in her portrayal of Gracie, flawlessly capturing the character’s sass, her soft side, her underlying fear, and her innate strength—all delivered in that beautifully breathy rasp of hers. And Walker Williams completely blew me away with his performance as well! His voicing of Noah was just sublime, perfectly balancing the creepy stalker with that of the golden retriever living inside this character. And his performance of Noah’s hilariously unhinged inner monologue was absolutely chef’s kiss. And all of it done in that sexy, velvety smooth baritone of his. Together, these two amazing voice actors made these characters real for me and did a beautiful job of bringing this phenomenal story to life. I cannot wait for the next audiobook in the series!

Unmasking Him by S. Wilson Book 2 in the Blackwater University Series

Performed in duet by Angelina Rocca & Walker Williams

Unmasking Him is the second book in the Blackwater University Series and is the story of Anonymous and Gracie, who happens to be Cole’s baby sister from book 1.

Anonymous has loved Gracie from the moment he saw her but circumstances mean he can never act on what he feels, leaving him in the position that the only way he can protector is to stalker her, an idea he comes up with after he sleeps with her at a Halloween party.

The Anonymous is completely obsessed and deeply in love with Gracie but his thought patterns and actions are rather questionable at best, and his internal dialogue had me laughing at times and shaking my head at others. The delusion is real, but his devotion is absolutely real and goes as far as he has started a virgin just so Gracie can be his first.

Gracie is not your usual FMC in regard to she comes across as a little reserved and innocent but as the audio goes on and events unfold she comes into her own as strong, feisty and driven woman, but when things start become more intense and unhinged with regards to Anonymous’s actions she asks for help from someone close to home and who she considered to be off limits, but as they spend time together feelings for her start to grow stronger.

Gracie is surprised that she isn’t scare of Anonymous and she struggles with the idea that she also has feelings for hi, that’s until the night he slips up and calls her "love" making things click into place for her, making her freak out in an absolutely epic way.

I absolutely love S.Wilson’s writing and this was made even more exceptional with the narration from Angelina Rocca & Walker Williams taking it to a how new level.

Walker Williams is just fantastic and I couldn’t help but devour even feeling and emotion Anonymous has during this audiobook.

If I could give the more than five stars I totally would.

Unmasking Him is book 2 in the Blackwater University series by S. Wilson. After listening to book 1 in the series, Ruining Him, I was eager to dive back into this dark and twisted world.

Unmasking Him follows Gracie and her “Anonymous” stalker who just so happens to be one of her brother’s best friends, Noah. Noah has only had eyes for Gracie for as long as he can remember, but he hasn’t wanted to jeopardize his friendship with Cole, Gracie’s brother. So Noah has secretly watched over Gracie and protected her from a distance. Until one night when things get out of hand and they share a passionate encounter together. Noah was wearing a mask though, so Gracie has no idea she just slept with her brother’s best friend. This sets Noah’s dark plan to get closer to Gracie by being her anonymous stalker into action. When “Anonymous” finally starts to make Gracie feel unsettled she turns to Noah for help. This wasn’t part of his plan, it’s even better! But what happens when his true identity is revealed? Will his love for Grace be enough for them to overcome this betrayal?

I enjoyed this book just as much as I did Ruining Him, possibly even a little more. I felt the storyline was similar to other dark college romances, but it also had enough of its own flare to make it stand out. I loved that she turned to Noah for help not knowing she was seeking his help from him. Noah was morally grey perfection, this wasn’t overly dark, so he almost felt like a morally grey golden retriever, and the fact that he was a virgin because no other woman could captivate him the way Gracie did just had me swooning for all of his antics.

Unmasking Him is narrated in duet by Angelina Rocca and Walker Williams. Angelina is always such a treat to listen to. She brings a level of emotion to her performances that is captivating. She also captured Gracie’s sass so well! I have only listened to Walker a handful of times and I swear each time is better than the last! I loved the way he brought Noah’s dark devotion to life.

I have to say the dedication had me hooked:
To the books!uts who wanna get throat fu@ked by an anonymous masked man.... this one's for you.

This book is a good time. I love its a secret identity for everyone. There are parts that just had me giggling but other's where I was like don't be a dumb***. Just so fun.

What to expect:
🖤Dark college romance
💜Brother’s best friend
🖤Secret identity
💜Masked stalker
🖤Obsession
💜Primal play
🖤He falls first
💜Virgin MMC

Prologue:
Anonymous
I have the perfect view of her from here. I always do, which is why it's my favorite place to come.

You do not know who the stalker is until later in the book. I kept changing my mind on which brother's best friend was stalking Gracie Aston.

Gracie is just a girl in college that would rather stay in her dorm and sketch then go out to a club. The one time she is reckless at a mask party and has a ONS it just happens to be her stalker. He never thought he would come out of the shadows but with one taste that all changed.

I have to say I love 💜 the delusion her stalkers lives in:
* We share a bond, her and I. She just doesn't know it.
* I'll be okay not seeing her for tonight though, because I do actually have some self-control. Okay so maybe I don't have any self-control at all.
* I don't ever want to force her into anything she doesn't want. Well, I don't want to force her, force her. She might need a little pushing in the right direction.

Just one more delusion:
*Who better to protect her from the guy stalking her than... the guy stalking her? It's brilliant really.

Thank you S. Wilson for the early copy. These are my honest thoughts.

Unmasking Him by S. Wilson was my first book in this series—and it definitely won’t be my last. I’m already going back to read book one because this was such a fun, addictive ride.

This is a dark college romance packed with secret identities, obsession, and a masked stalker who is completely unhinged…yet somehow impossible to look away from. From the dedication alone, I knew this book was going to be bold, and it absolutely delivers.

Gracie was such a pleasant surprise. She may come across as sweet and innocent at first, but she’s clever, feisty, and far more confident than she lets on. Watching her stand up to her parents and go after what she wanted was empowering and satisfying.

The MMC is completely obsessed and deeply in love, even if his logic is questionable at best. His internal dialogue had me laughing at times and shaking my head at others. The delusion is real, but his devotion to Gracie is undeniable. He falls first—and hard.

The story balances dark romance, suspense, humor, and spice perfectly. There were moments that made me giggle, moments that made me frustrated in the best way, and moments that had me glued to the pages. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down.

This book ends with a HEA and no cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to read about the other best friends in this series. If I could give this more than five stars, I would.

Thank you to S. Wilson for the ARC .

🎧ALC Review: Unmasking Him
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️1/2

This was my first time reading @authorswilson , and definitely didn’t ease in gently—I fully jumped into obsession, secrets, and morally questionable devotion!

It’s dark college romance in familiar stalker territory, but the execution makes it feel fresh. Gracie has always been off-limits (best friend’s sister vibes), but one masked encounter completely shatters that line.

The MMC is unhinged in the most committed way—obsessed, delusional, fully convinced she’s his—and he never once pauses to ask if that’s healthy. (It’s not. That’s the point.) Somehow you still catch yourself rooting for him.

What really works is that Gracie isn’t just there to be obsessed over. She has depth, agency, and emotional weight that keeps the story from feeling one-note. The pacing is tight, the tension stays high, and it never drags.

The duet narration by @angelinaroccaromance and @walkerwilliamsvo is ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 - they absolutely understood the assignment! And Walker’s voice? A silky, whispery smolder that perfectly captures that dangerous, obsessive energy. It makes every intense moment hit harder.

This book isn’t sweet or subtle—it’s chaotic, dark, and addictive. Just make sure you check the trigger warnings before diving in!

Thank you to @bluenoseaudio and @authorswilson for sending me an ALC to review!

If you like insane stalker stories with hidden identities then this may be the book for you.

Good girl Gracie gives into her dark fantasties in one wild night of passion which is very out of character for her, but when they mysteriously man turns out to be one of her brother's best friend who just so happens to be obsessed with her, things get a little wild.

Cue the MMC now taking on this masked man persona to be able to show Grace how much he is into her and do some rather crazy things with her. Unhinged is not a strong enough word for some of his actions, he is verging on needs to be committed sometimes, but its all in the name of love! Think standard stalker story, then level up about 10 to the extremes he goes to. I also loved the MMC's internal monologue it had me giggling at times.

I really liked how the MMC was anon for the first few chapters before his identity was revealed, then getting to see the two sides of him and how he navigates all the twists and turns of the story is interesting. Gracie is very torn between thinking her stalker is very inappropriate and perhaps dangerous to being very turned on enjoying his darkness. But when everything eventually comes to a head expect it to get explosive!

These were new narrators to me and really enjoyed them, I will be looking to see what other books they have narrated now as well.

This is the second book of this series and I have been waiting for this.

Gracie comes across as really sweet and innocent in the first book. At least in her brothers eyes. But my god this girl is as smutty as the rest of us. She can be feisty, cunning and provocative when needed to. I am so glad that she finally stood up to her parents and went after what she wanted.

The MMC (I don’t want to ruin the surprise) is completely unhinged and I am here for it. I loved the suspense of not knowing which friend was stalking her and the anticipation nearly killed me. But he is also 100% madly, insanely in love with Gracie and didn’t know how to get out of the friend zone.

The way this story is built with intensity, atmosphere and dark romance along with complex moral landscapes is perfect. Ultimately building to them having to confront each other and themselves about what they really want. It reeled me in and I didn’t put it down.

You really need to read the first book before starting this as the stories overlap in their timeline and you will end up with spoilers for the first book.

I cannot wait to read about the other two best friends and their FMCs. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I have loved all of S.Wilsons books so far and was so happy to recieve this arc

It follows Gracie & Anonymous ( I cant give his identity away, sorry girlies 🫣) one might think hes a low key obsessed with her, i mean I dont think so but hey, what do I know right?

He follows Gracie to a masked Halloween party, intending to keep unwanted attention from her, but things dont go to plan and Gracie unintentionally invites her brothers bestfriend to go somewhere quieter. Imma let you guess what happens 🤭

'Id wait a lifetime for her if I had to, because shes worth it' - Anonymous

Anonymous has a plan to make Gracie feel the same obsession he does towards her, then eventually reveal his identity so that she cant be mad right? 👀

"I never thought unmasking him would be my undoing'' - Gracie

Im not gonna lie, I had no idea who it was until the reveal. The way s.wilson wrote this book was fantastic! Really had me guessing, when you get to the part where Gracie describes all her brothers friends you think you might know who it is. But are you correct?? I certainly had someone in mind!!

This book is amazing! The writing, the spice, even the the way hes utterly obsessed with her! Its making me obsessed! Could not put it down!!
Cant wait for the next book!!

Gracie met the anonymous masked man at a Halloween party, so why would anyone question talking to someone in a mask when everyone around them was masked up. Although taking him somewhere else and sleeping with him, was not on Gracie’s plans for the night.

Even tho anonymous knew who Gracie was, he wouldn’t reveal who he is, because he knew she would freak out.

Then becomes the primal play. Gracie may of acted scared (although she may of being a little bit) but running through a forest with a masked man chasing her down, turned her on more than she would admit. If she truly didn’t want it or was completely scared by him, then she would have told someone about it.

Asking her brother’s best friend for help. Unbeknownst to her that said guy is her masked stalker. Which gives him opportunity to spend time with her alone as himself.

Until the night he slips up and calls her “love” which making things click into place her Gracie. And to say she freaks out is an understatement.

I was half shocked who he was. I knew there is only 3 guys it could have being. But I was even more shocked to find out he was a virgin and has being holding out for her.

I absolutely loved they both. You could feel the love Noah has for Gracie. My heart was racing when their challenges became.

I am utterly obsessed.

Gracie is the sister of the first book’s MMC, Cole, and the MMC of this book happens to be one of Cole’s best friends. Oh... and he’s also HER STALKER.

Gracie is the good girl in this story… or at least, that’s what she believes about herself. That changes the moment she meets a masked man at a party—who also happens to be her stalker. She’s a young, confident woman, but this man who instantly captivates her attention soon becomes her worst nightmare—not because he scares her, but because he has the exact opposite effect on her.

“Anonymous” is supposed to see Gracie as his little sister, just like any of Cole’s other friends do. But instead, he’s protective of her not like a brother, and completely, irrevocably gone for her. The only way he can stay close to her without raising suspicion is by silently stalking he until everything changes when she unknowingly invites his unhinged side out at the party.

This book will put you through every emotion possible and make you feel exactly what the characters feel. You’ll love, laugh, cry, and absolutely obsess over them.

And if you’re anything like me—someone who’s obsessed with obsessed, unhinged men who would do anything to be with the love of their life—this book will completely own you.

Unmasking Him by @authorswilson

Narrated by @angelinaroccaromance and @walkerwilliamsvo

Produced by @bluenoseaudio

OBSESSED with this. St@lker/ hidden identity DONE RIGHT!

Angelina Rocca was already one of my all time favorite narrators. The way she voices every character and makes them sound like their own person is amazing. And the emotional range in her voice had me laughing and swooning.

Walker Williams as the mmc was PERFECT. This is one of my favorite narrations so far this year. When you know the character is masked and he SOUNDS masked and muffled, it added so much to the experience! Not to mention how the st@lker and the actual mmc sound like 2 completely different people!

This book reminded me why I love st@lker romance so much!! Add in the hidden identity aspect and it was perfect for me!

The mmc's inner monolog... the way he reminds himself he's "not crazy or anything"... absolutely hilarious!

This was my first S Wilson book and I'm so happy I started with this one. Their story is great. Does he go about everything in a slightly wrong way? Yes. But is he loving and so devoted!?? ALSO YES!

Thank you so much for the alc @bluenoseaudio !!

This dark romance is PERFECT for all you book besties that love a masked MMC!

Stalking? On point.
Craziness ? Unhinged
The reveal? Unexpected
Emotion? All over the place !

I turned into a detective as I was trying to figure out which of the guys was this unhinged stalker . The way the author took us on a short journey of suspense into the unknown was actually smart . Something I wasn’t expecting but totally enjoyed . I had my two guesses but I was still surprised ! But I need you all to read this so can guess who her stalker was?

He loved her , craved her , and went on an unhinged path to claim her . Although extreme he knew his actions was perfect for his Gracie. Behind her facade and fake image to her friends and the public was a girl who thrived in peace , comfort and leggings .. She too had darkness inside , something her stalker managed to bring to the surface .

One minute I’m rooting for them both and the next the author has me hating him and wanting to shake sense into Gracie . But I loved the payback she had for her stalker . Very creative and artistic

Overall , a really good read that I finished too quick ! The short chapters and pacing made it hard to put down

Would I recommend ? Yes !! 3.5 ⭐

Angelina Rocca & Walker Williams were Chef’s kisses in this book!

Hey everyone, welcome back to another audiobook review today. We are talking about unmasking him by S.Wilson. I absolutely freaking loved Angelina Rocca and Walker Williams in this book. As we all know, Angelina Rocca is one of my god tier female narrators, I absolutely have loved everything that I have listened to her and she is so freaking phenomenal and everything! Walker Williams he is just as phenomenal in this book. He used to one of my favorite characters of 2025 with bones and leave me behind and as Noah in this book he freaking just knocked it out of the park in this. I thought the chemistry between Walker and Angelina was just on par. They did such a good job working together. I definitely feel like they need to be paired together again in the future because it was just amazing getting to hear them work together. I absolutely love the forbidden romance of it being the brother‘s best friend and noah our MMC he breaks the ultimate bro code. You never date your best friend sister, but Noah in this book just didn’t care and I love that about him that he was willing to risk his friendship to be with the woman that he was obsessed and in love with.

Do i sometimes pick ALCs for their covers and Trigger Warnings?? I absolutely do! This on was no different!

So let’s talk about the cover first. All the purples and shades and the flowers… Beautiful!

Now for the trigger warnings, always a menu for me - we know this. This, again, was the absolute reason for picking this ALC.

Without giving too much away, check out the tropes. This book takes you on a roller coaster of emotions from the start such as but not limited to anticipation, anxiety, fear, unlocking kinks, but we can’t forget about anger and also love. So much love..

I found myself yelling at both characters in the story - as per the usual because of the genre of books that I pick. This was my first time listening to Angelina Rocca & Walker Williams, and I was not disappointed as per the usual with Blue Nose Audio!

The FMC is adorable and also smart and talented with a big personality which the MMC recognizes - a long time before the story takes place.

OK, I’m gonna stop there before I give too much away, but please do RUN not walk when this comes out on February 18th but you can preorder February 11th!!

Huge thanks to the author and Blue Nose Audio for the gifted audio copy of Unmasking Him!

Oh my gawd. This book was literally everything I ever want in a story.

At first I wasn’t sure who the masked man was, but later in the story I was able to figure it out. Yes, the plot was a little predictable, but it was so well written that I didn’t even care. And there’s a small unexpected twist at the end that made it even better.
“If I catch you, you’re mine… Run.”

I loved the protective best friends, the unhinged and obsessed masked stalker, the college setting, the spice, and the secret identity vibes.

And can we talk about Anonymous? I loved that even though he was completely unhinged, he was still so sweet and protective of Gracie. Also… the fact that he was the virgin and not the FMC? Obsessed. "How can someone be a golden retriever one minute and then an insane psycho the next?"

The audiobook was excellent. The narrators truly brought the story to life. Angelina Rocca and Walker Williams worked so well together, and their performances made the mystery and chemistry even stronger.

I genuinely did not want this book to end.

Unmasking Him is the second book in the Blackwater University series by S. Wilson. It's a brother's best friend, college age, friend group, forbidden, hidden identity, always loved you trope that is totally addictive and has you wanting more.

TW: -Stalking (like, a lot of it), Dub-con, Breath play, Primal play, Kidnapping, Physical violence, Virgin MC, 💦 in pants, Hand necklace, Mask, Obsession, Possessive, Touch her & die.

I would like to Thank S. Wilson for my ARC and in return I voluntarily promised an honest review.

Noah White has always loved Gracie Aston, his best friends sister. He can't remember a time that he hasn't, but she is off limits and he just can't help himself to make her his.

Noah wears a mask to a Halloween party where he knows Gracie will be but never imagines that the night will end with him losing his virginity. Now he won't be able to stay away.

He keeps his identity a secret and the more his dark side brings hers out, the deeper his obsession becomes.

What will happen when she finds out who is behind the mask?

Unmasking Him by S. Wilson, done in duet narration with Walker Williams and Angelina Rocca, was a really enjoyable listen for me. This is my first book from this author, and now I definitely want to go back and listen to the first book in the series, even though this one can be read as a standalone.

The duet narration really elevated the story. Walker Williams and Angelina Rocca brought out the emotion, tension, and chemistry so well that it made the listening experience feel more immersive.

Because the characters are younger, there were moments where I was thinking they could have just communicated better, which was a little frustrating at times. But it also felt age-appropriate and realistic for their situation.

I especially loved how obsessed he was with her and how completely blind she was to it. The brother’s best friend dynamic added to that tension and made the push and pull between them more believable.

Overall, it was fun, spicy, and easy to get into. The spice was definitely spicing, the duet narration worked beautifully, and I would absolutely recommend the audiobook.

Ok first things first, this was a solid read! I loved the plot and it was oozing delicious tropes. Stalker, brothers best friend, yearning, and so much more incredible things and it just all fell together so perfectly. I loved the pacing. It never felt rushed but kept up the pace enough to have me in the edge of my seat. Their chemistry was hot and let me tell you, daddy Noah is so fine. That man had me giggling and sweating all in the same scene. I did do the audiobook which was narrated by Angelina Rocca and Walker Williams, both of which I hadn’t listened to before and they did an incredible job. I love a female who doesn’t sound whiny and who actually sounds like a grown woman. And she did such a great job at bringing emotion to the forefront. Now, Walker Williams did the damn thing. That sultry, sin laced voice was soooo good. Them together lit the chemistry on fire. I highly recommend this book but definitely listen as well!

Unmasking Him by S. Wilson is a dark college stalker romance with best friend's little sister. I devoured this story as soon as I got my hands on it because I was here for the obsession and unhinged activity by the infamous Anonymous stalker. Holy cow this man literally studied this girl to the T knowing her every need, move, and thought. To top it off, this man even went as far as saving himself and learning all the necessary skills to best serve her every s*nsual need. Honestly if a man spent this much time catering to my every need or want I'd d*e and go to heaven. I also loved the rom com aspect and constant back forth between the characters! I was laughing non stop and having the time of my life. The revenge served back was priceless! Narrators Angelina Rocca & Walker Williams were the most exquisite dynamic duo for this story and brought it home for the win. The chemistry, flow, and banter was on point, I felt like I was listening to a movie! This was my first time listening to Walker Williams and he did a phenomenal job. Every time he did his masked voice it reminded me of batman and it had me giggling. As always Angelina Rocca remains in my top five favorite female narrators! Thank you Blue Nose Audio and S. Wilson for this entertaining ALC opportunity.

Audiobook 5 ⭐️
Spice 2 🌶️
Story 4 ⭐️

Unmasking Him by S. Wilson, is the second book in the Blackwater University series. This is a lighter dark stalker collage romance. This is my first book by S. Wilson, and I dove straight in without even blinking. This story is a character-driven, very addictive and bingible.

Gracie, our FMC is stubborn, untouchable and very desirable. She brings a great layer of emotional complexity, that helps keep the story going.

The MMC, well I’ll let u find out who he is as there is a bit mystery around our stalker at the beginning. He falls first, he falls harder, well he is plainly obsessed and delusional but she isn’t far behind *giggle*.

Their relationship has a uniqueness that keeps the tension high, pacing fast but not rushed.

Audiobook: performed in duet style by Angelica Rocca and Walker Willians they. have delivered a clean performance, with perfect cadence matching the intensity, emotions, and bringing the characters perfectly to life

* Thank you Blue Nose Audio and S. Wilson for the opportunity to listen to this ALC, my opinions are my own. *

Liked this better than the first!

The mystery of the first chapters, then waiting for Gracie to find out and then waiting for the fall out then waiting for the HEA! You just want to keep reading, I literally ploughed through the whole book! Very clever, S.Wilson!

Let’s just say the stalker in this one is very unhinged, completely delusional and… I’m here for it!! He’s morally wrong in a way that’s oh so right! It’s that fine line between obsession and protection. I’m glad the stalker turned out to be him (won’t say is incase :) )

It was great to see Gracie come out of her shell a little and show herself, I wasn’t sure about her in the first book, don’t feel like we really knew her.

Did feel like there could have been more… more with the fall out and make up, more of the epilogue… or is that simply because I wanted more?!? il waiting for them to pop up in the next book, which I can’t wait for! Please say it’s Logan’s turn next… I need to know!

A dark romance brothers best friend

This is a perfect take on brother's best friend!
He's always loved Gracie and been obsessed with her but never wanted to ruin his friendship with her brother Cole or her since they have always been friends too with her only seeing him as a brother figure. But when the opportunity strikes were he gets to save her from a jerk hitting on her at a masked party where she has no idea who he is. They sneak away where he finally gets to claim her for a night. Only thing is now that he's had her he is not planning on giving her up so he stalks her as the masked man.
