I want to start by saying thank you for the opportunity to read this as an ARC! As we all know by now, I love a small town romance especially ones with sexy cowboys in it👀

What To Expect:
🔥 High heat
💘 Opposites Attract
🐎 Small-town Texas ranch
🛑 Forbidden setup (she’s the boss’s daughter)
💬 Dirty-talking cowboy
👢 Sassy, chaos-loving heroine
💞 Guaranteed HEA

It was such an easy read, I think I read it in about 3 sittings across 2 days and I probably could have finished it in 1 day if I didn’t have other things to do (life gets in the way🙄😂) It was about 70% smut and I loved every single second of it. Scarlett and Austin were a dream to read about and I highly recommend picking this up on publication day if you’re looking for a quick, firery, sexy small town romance.

4.5 ⭐️ loved this cowboy romance, just wish it was longer which I suppose isn’t a bad thing at all!

This didn’t feel like the usual cowboy romance copy and paste job, there was a unique ranch hand/college girl story line that I hadn’t read before. Loved the tension, loved the spice, loved the characters. The writing was brilliant, easy to follow, I read this in one sitting! As a reader who loves Paisley Hope, Lyla Sage, Elsie Silver etc I’m usually fussy about my cowboy romance but I was so pleasantly surprised by this as Kats debut cowboy romance novel it was so fun!

Enjoyed it so much I can’t wait for book 2!

I received an ARC of Kat Parson's debut novel and absolutely loved it!

What stood out to me was the excellent writing. I read a lot of romance novels, and while I often enjoy the stories, it’s rare that the writing itself adds so much to the experience. The language flows beautifully, and the style makes the book an absolute pleasure to read from start to finish.

The plot is well-structured, with just the right amount of tension and surprise to keep things interesting. The chemistry between the main characters builds naturally, and I really appreciated how their emotional connection developed alongside the physical one. The sexual tension was electric — slow-building, believable, and perfectly integrated into the emotional arc of the story. I also loved the dual POV; it added so much depth, especially when it came to Austin’s secrets and internal struggles.

The setting was another highlight. I’m not from Texas, but the way the town and the ranch were described made everything easy to picture and conveyed a strong sense of place. The side characters and family dynamics were introduced effortlessly.

This book hit all the right notes for me — a well-paced story, interesting characters, and beautiful writing. Highly recommended for anyone who loves contemporary romance that’s just as smart as it is swoony. I'll definitely pick up the next book in the series!

A poignant story of love and loss as Austin does an internship under Tom Dawson a local rancher, so Austin would be able to run his own place with his partner, Jesse. While working with Tom, Austin became acquainted with Tom's daughter, Scarlett. She was home from college for the summer before her senior year. She had her life planned in that she was studying hard, so she would get an internship in Europe for a year or two after graduation. She had no time for dating in her life. Austin was alone in the world except for his partner, after a fire killed his parents and older brother. Scarlett thought she would have a summer fling with Austin, but he let her know differently. I greatly enjoyed this book from the very beginning clear through to the end.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

if you’re new to the cowboy romance genre or even just feeling a bit slumpy, i highly recommend reading this!

it has the perfect concoction of mysterious, sexy, cowboy mmc and a fiery, headstrong fmc! i was literally hooked on page 9 when our southern boy whipped out the “careful
there, miss scarlett”

if you love a fast paced read, small town romance, spice and a quick building romance, pick this baby up! (also can we take a minute for the cover too??? STUNNING)

Come for me, Cowboy is one of those stories that makes you want to curl up with a blanket and get lost in the slow burn between two characters who are clearly meant for each other, even if they don’t see it yet.
Just the right mix of tough and tender. Lots of tension at first, but when they finally let their guards down.... Things got spicy.

I loved this! Not your typical cowboy romance, a unique story rather than that same old retold storyline. The MCs are both really likable. Austin is 😍. Its got a good level of spice. It was an all round easy, comfort read. Don't hesitate to get your pre-orders in.

This is the first book of Kat's that I have read and really enjoyed it. I've recently entered into my Cowboy romance era so Austin was just what I was looking for. I'm looking forward to reading more of Kat's books.

A mix of cowboy, with a touch of billionaire romance mixed in - should have been a hit, but it hit just at meh for me. It felt rushed and I had trouble connecting with the characters. Spicy aspect was okay though and I flicked through the pages until the end. I just wouldn’t go back for seconds.
